It had been warmer over the past week. Water line had been frozen, but is thawed out now. The craft ice maker motor seized while in harvest. I accessed defective machine and removed it. I installed the replacement ice maker sent by square trade. Once secured I entered the ice maker I started a harvest test. The ice maker did not fill with water even with electricity to the water solenoid valve. I replaced the solenoid valve and tested the craft ice maker again. The ice maker called for water and water filled the molds. No other water or cooling issues reported. I suggest utilizing the LG ThinQ app with all available appliances.

Disassembled unit found two rollers completely shredded. The felt on the front of the drum is starting to peel away and grind away. This is happening because of the rollers being bad. A blue book for a repair kit to replace all the rollers and idler pulling customer approved installed parts reassembled tested no unit working the way it should be. Customer stated there was a knocking noise when the dryer was spinning. Upon arrival I found the issue was a screw holding in one of the baffle/lifter fins. The screw was scraping against the side of the dryer wall. I used a Dremel to make the screw head flatter. I used multiple towels for weight wetted down to make sure it was no longer making the noise. The noise has went away and the problem has been fixed.

Upon arrival, customer stated the icemaker was not making ice. Tested the bail alarm switch sensor and motor icemaker. They all appeared to be working properly. Discovered ice buildup around the fill funnel. Checked the filter tube heater and the valve and they both appear to be working properly.At this point in time, I defrosted the whole unit and didnt see any other indications of an issue. If issue persists, we will go ahead and replace the valve, but everything appears to be working at this time.

The defrost timer was locked in an odd position, it was a drill activating the defrost cycle and allowing the compressor to run and produce a frost pattern. The heater was warm to the touch and there wasnt any frost strong the heater on the evaporator. I replaced the defrost timer, steamed away the significant ice build up from the upper 2/3 of the evaporator and assembled the evaporator cover to the cabinet. Once power was restored, the defrost heater didnt warm up and the compressor began cycling refrigerant, the evaporator began to frost as expected. Due to the total loss of temperature in freezer and fresh food compartments, the refrigerator will take 24 hours to reach temperatures.

I didnt find any leaks, water did trickle out of the dispenser spout. I activated the diagnostic steps with the user interface. I was able to achieve strong water pressure at the dispenser and the ice maker. The water filter used isnt ideal, even though it fits correctly in the water manifold. Theres no need for parts replacement or repair with this appliance. The water supply lines used(PEX) often allow mineral build up that slows water pressure to refrigerators.

Complaint is that water leaks from detergent dispenser, dispenser will be full of water after a cycle concludes, and the drain line always has some water in it after a cycle. I verified water is coming in too strong. Installed the water restrictors, and tested 8 times on cold, hot, and warm. Zero leaks, and no residual water in the dispenser after. Runs great now. Explained that water is always going to be in the drain line after.

I investigated the top load washing machine for an unpleasant smell that the customer is sure emanates from the washing machine. I filled the machine three times no odd smells. I drained the machine three times. No odd smells the washing machine behaves like a brand new washing machine should no defects or if she was found. I removed the wash plate to check for foreign objects underneath, I didnt find anything in that regard.
