Upon arrival and inspection I found that the main control board was smoked. It had soot On it and all the components around it. The part was discontinued in 2013. I offered to look into rebuilt options and/or send their board away to be repaired but she declined. They will replace the oven.

Ran unit multiple times to see if I could find any where else to leak everything was bone dry and only evidence I could find was leaking out the back. See photos. House keeper said that happened when using tub clean. And was on top of the hoses and on back of unit. So has to be leaking up high. All hoses looked good.

"Customer complaint is the dryer does not start. When you press the start button, it says door sensing and acts like the door is not closed. I checked and verified the door. Switch is good. I jumped the door switch and it still does the same thing. I checked the main board for burn spots and to make sure it was wired correctly. I tested all the fuses and made sure everything was plugged in after the belt was replaced. The only thing I can find is that the board is most likely the issue. I gave the customer the blue book quote for the repair and advised that the board is not returnable so we would have to charge for a board in addition to anything else that it might need. The customer is gonna think it over and let us know."

The customer complains that the temperatures arent consistent and they feel like the fresh food section is in behaving. Customer also complained that her water does not dispense. Upon arrival and inspection I found the filter was damaged. I installed the filter bypass per GEs instructions and the system worked fine she needs a new filter. I hooked up and viewed the Smart HQ data and found that the fresh food section seem to be defrosting about every four hours. All four control boards needed a software update and one of the boards noted a change to the defrost programming and how often and for how long to defrost it. I checked the fan and it worked great I checked the heater and it worked great the temperatures looked right on course for what I was saying inside it. I installed the software updates I could find no issues outside of the defrost programming that mightve been suspect but that issue was addressed in the release notes as something that was repaired by this firmware update

When you open the flex drawer you get a E6 error. I called tech line and he told me its a communication error, probably with the wiring for the flex drawer. "The customer complaint was the ice maker does not make ice And the ice maker is frosted over. Today the customer had the unit unplugged and it was defrosted. I verified the ice maker that was in there was a older ice maker. I also found the ice fill tube was pushed in to far and would have been spraying water all over. The ice maker had the new clips and guard. I found no issue with the auger assembly. I quoted for the ice maker and making adjustments. I replaced the ice maker, adjusted the fill tube,sealed the inside of the cabinet and turned off the energy feature. I inspected the ice chute flap and the ice bin. The bin was not cracked and the flap is not leaking air. I ran the ice maker test and no errors came up."

The customer complaint was the washer would not drain the water out. I started the drain and spin and I could hear the drain pump and the impeller sounded broken. I removed the drain pump and found the impeller was broken. I quoted the customer BB for the part replacement. I replaced the drain pump. I did find the drum bearing and spider are failing so its loud when it spins. The customer is aware and will live with it for now. I also found the drain hose was about 2 feet down the stand pipe. I pulled the drain hose out and now have down the pipe about 8 inches. ; used 1 4681EA2001T (PUMP ASSM) from stock

Pops the arc fault breaker when the door opens. The wiring on the mullion is bare from movement. The switch was held down and while flipping the mullion the arc fault breaker blew. The customer will repair it himself. I warned the customer that was arc fault breakers there are many different causes for them to blow. He might find this problem persists with any and all household appliances that are connected to arc fault circuits.

I ran full diagnostics and found that hot water valve would come out at trickle cusing a long fill time when using hot water cycle. Unbalance issue is a service bulletin on Service desk that the customer needs to connect the appliance to WiFi and do a system software update. "10312022222pmZAC is the case number. The timer 7 times approximately over two weeks counted down and got stuck at the 2 minute mark. I wasnt able to duplicate the issue. I called Bosch tech support, they said the only thing you could do is replace the main clock control board. Customer asked that we dont worry about that since its working. In the future if it starts doing this issue again she will call and we would have to get authorization for the clock/main control for the oven. The upper right corner of the oven was bent, I bent it back down into place with my putty knife and painters tape to protect the finish."

"Has been shaking and water left at end of cycle. Found the wash tub next to the washer was plugged, looks like water is siphoning back into tub. It spins and drains great. Also recommended replacing lint trap on drain line. Its all packed full of lint. Lastly, I adjusted washer so it doesnt shake as much. Moved it a half inch into a new spot on the floor. Checked rotor and stator and theyre tight. Drain pump sounds great and drains strong. Good tension on tub shocks."

Without the dryer working i cannot fully verify if the vent is clogged or not. Dryer vent inside only run 3 feet and is clean and from what i can reach inside vent that goes though floor is clean. I explained to customer issues to look for after sears replaces dryer motor if takes 2-3 cycles to dry clothes that vent might be clogged and sounds like their association cleans the dryer vent and since its on 2nd floor we dont do it.

The customer had unplugged the unit because the fresh food light would not go out and the light switch was hot. They had plugged it back in shortly before I arrived.
