The dishwasher latch was not connecting with the door strike. The handle seemed very loose and it was not releasing its spring. I removed the handle assembly and installed the replacement part. Once installed, I tried to close the door and it does close. I did adjust the door strike too so that the latch assembly would marry even better. Midea tech support when I spoke with them last time said that the only other thing it could possibly be is the UI board. I came back and replaced that today and it didnt fix the issue. On timed dry it stops heating after 4 or 5 minutes. On sending dry it continually cycles heat for the duration of the cycle. I then went outside after 20 minutes and checked vent, and screen is packed with lint. I removed lint, and within a minute the heat came back. And stayed on then. Explained to customer they have an issue with that screen getting clogged. Dryer runs great now.

Went to call with Phillip and we found the soap dispenser leaking. Replaced housing and dispenser and tested for leaks. Got no leakage thru testing. It did trip the breaker one more time while I was there but I believe that was due to excess water in the machine. Told customer to let it dry out for 4-8 hours and try again once connection and everything is dried out; pckd up 1 5304514794 (DISPENSER - HOUSING DETERGENT) and 1 5304514792 (DISPENSER - HOUSING DETERGENT)

Upon arrival the door was missing and not installed. I called bilder and he said the fan is making noise. He thought it was dented in back of fridge. Not structurally damaging just machine crease and slightly bubbled from insulation. Took evap panel off and repositioned the fan since it was grinding on the panel. Unit is good to go. I took pictures before I started working on anything.

Ice maker hasnt been making ice. I found a clump of ice right under the icemaker and it was stopping the icemaker from making more ice. I hooked up the newfi and temps over the last 5 weeks have been an average of 20 in the icemaker area which is the target temp. I did a test on it and the heater came on, it ejected the ice, and filled perfectly. Showed customer where it makes ice. It dispenses great now too.

Customer states that after the power was out for several days the machine took several days to get back down to temperature. On arrival check machine and machine did appear to be at normal temperature in both the fridge and the freezer section. Checked the compressor started right away. Checked the condenser and evaporator fan to make sure they were both running. Check the defrost system to make sure it was functioning properly. Check the damper to make sure its opening and closing properly. Everything seems to be workingproperly at this time. Use the factory settings to adjust the machine performance and prioritize cooling the fridge more aggressively. Everything seems to be working properly at this time.

WATER ENTERING UNIT MIGHT BE ISSUE - FILLS AND EMPTIES WEIRD. This is a wash tower. Both model and serial number tags have been removed. Theres a tag on the side that has a model number on it. Customer said theres been standing water in washer a couple times and once didnt wash. I removed the drain filter and its mostly clear, but theres a piece of string/hair thats got junk wrapped around it going into the pump impeller. I removed junk and tested washer and its filling, washing, draining and spinning multiple times perfectly. Washer is testing good. I think the string/hair was causing it to not drain sometimes.

Getting black flakes inside washer on clothes, and the lid lock catches sometimes. Called tech support. They said theyve never encountered the lid lock having issues, and they said unless customer has been running the clean cycle consistently since they bought it, they will get black flakes. I did tell them how to run afresh through the washer properly. And checked under the agitator plate, and cleaned some scum off of that. Lots of scrum. Attached photos. Just charging labor for doing a 45 minute deep cleaning, taking it all apart and scrubbing with a Brillo pad.

SHUTS OFF AFTER PREHEAT. Customer said the display will just go dead and will eventually turn back on by itself. There is a service bulletin from GE for this issue and it says to install a piece of insulation under the board to prevent the moisture from getting to the board. Installed insulation and tested. Oven preheated to 400F without any issues and cycled for a little while without shutting down. Range is now fixed.
