Contacted LG tech support. LG Tech support Don stated that dishes will never be totally dry after cycle and recommends using a towel to dry dishes. Stated that glassware will dry more but plastics will not. Recommends trying to run hot water at sink so when dishwasher starts it will fill with hot water. Found that dishwasher has its own water supply and is not tapped into hot water for sink. Don stated this can be a problem. Recommends trying different pods with a thinner skin. Don stated that racks of dishwasher are standard for a two week old dishwasher. They are not tight like a refrigerator and can be loose.

I replaced the burnt oven door gasket. I removed the door and accessed the bake flame burner assembly. I removed the defective ignition coil. I installed the replacement ignition coil by splicing it with ceramic wire nuts ave insulation. Assembled the oven bake assembly and tested my repair by starting a bake cycle, the oven ignited immediately and the flame structure appears near perfect, indicating a complete combustion. I secured the oven door in place and verified that the door opens and closes properly. The wall oven is back to normal and good for normal, everyday use. I also cleaned a substantial amount of a white powdery substance out of the oven, likely baking soda.

Freezer door swings shut on its own. Ended up leveling the fridge better with a small shim, so now the door stays open like she wants. Fridge door harder to close. I greased up the hinge and now it closes much easier. Food has been freezing on top shelf under vent. She did adjust temp to recommend setting the other day and nothing has frozen now. If it starts to freeze food again shell adjust it a little warmer.

The washing machine is leaking on occasion from a build up of suds that is creating what appears to be a water leak. I filled and drained the machine three times and each time the drum had a significant amount of soapy water. The leak is created from an over suds problem that the customer will have to correct. A few tablespoons of vegetable oil in the can be used to clean out soap from the washing machine.

I access the sump assembly by pulling the dishwasher out and accessing the right side cavity. I removed the defective drain pump and the defective aqua sensor. I installed the new hardware that was sent ahead of time. Once the new components were installed, I restored power to the appliance and verified that the dishwasher runs without producing error codes. The dishwasher is repaired and good for normal every day use.

I found one error code referring to a defective drain pump. I access the drain pump on the sump assembly. Removed it and installed the drain pump sent by Square trade. While I had the machine out, I tested the heater continuity and resistance continuity failed so I removed the heater coil and installed the replacement sent by Square trade. once the new hardware had been installed, I tested my repair to verify that the error code did not return. The dishwasher is fixed and good for normal every day use.

I opened the door to access the evaporator fan cover. I removed the evaporator cover to access the fan and the evaporator coil. I inspected the evaporator coil to look for refrigerant leaks. I didnt find any refrigerant leaks. I inspected the defrost heater to see if something might have melted on the heater and created an unpleasant smell.there is no substance on the heater that would create an unpleasant smell when the refrigerator goes into defrost cycle. I looked behind the refrigerator to kick to see if something wasnt underneath creating an unpleasant smell, there was nothing underneath the refrigerator creating an unpleasant smell. I do not know what is causing the unpleasant smell, but my diagnosis is that its nothing mechanical with the refrigerator that requires repair or parts replacement.

LG dryer customer stated that they are unable to change temp settings when on normal cycle and that normal cycle is shrinking clothes. Found that temp settings are unable to be changed but dryness level is when using normal cycle. Recommend trying different dryness levels and using timed dry setting temp settings as able to be changed. Spoke with LG tech support. Tech support stated to try different settings to get the temperature desired. Normal dry cycle defaults to medium high heat. Dry level changes the amount of time. Recommend trying different settings based on fabrics being used.

Not draining sometimes. Found the sump area relatively clean, but oily. This can often stop the little white ball from being able to slide into the right position allowing it to drain. Confirmed it drains great. Pump sounds great. Good strong drain. Drain line looped high. Recommended using finish dishwasher cleaner to get oil residue out.
