Washer doesnt spin. In test mode I could hear grinding and crunching sounds. Tipped the washer back and found the transmission is leaking oil and is shot. Rotor and stator are broken as well. Called owner and quoted him blue book for the repair. His washer has a very similar model number to the 2016 recall. He will call Samsung to see if they would fix the washer even though it technically isnt a part of the recall. I recommended he try.

Called Bosch tech support and after long call found out that this had been serviced before at some point because the wrong wire was plugged into UI rather then the soap dispenser. So that shorted out the new UI and control board. Also looking into the removed plastic top facia and handle the plastics tabs are all cracked so i quoted that as well (see picture) due to new found issues customer declined.Canceling part and will return as DOA

The customer said it never heated after Nate left. The customer put a cup of water in the microwave and ran in front of me. The microwave was not heating. The microwave is up to high for me to take it down by myself. This would be a 2 man if we have to take it down. I removed the control panel and took amp draw while it was heating. I was only getting .90 amps. The high voltage side is not coming on. I check power out the board to the filter board high voltage fuse and I got 0 volts. I removed the door switches and tested each switch. All switches tested good. I put it back together. Now its all working. I tried 20 times and the customer tried it. "The customer had a bunch of issue with the range. The clock and timer buttons do not work. The oven does not hold temp and sometimes the temp is 100 degrees to hot. I verified the clock and timer buttons do not work. I started the oven at 350. After it beeped that it was preheated the display showed 350 but according to my meter the temp was 510. The customer had a store bought thermometer in the oven and that showed 475. The oven cooled down to 335 and never turned back on. I turned the oven off and then back on to 450. The igniter was glowing for a long time but it never heated back up. I took a amp draw the amperage was 3.1. The oven will need the whole display assembly, main pcb, the relay board and temp sensor. "Upon further inspection I found that the drain hoses were not installed correctly. I had assumed that dryer was working long before I had looked at it and reattached hoses to where i had found them when I arrived. But, I found that drain hose was hooked up to the water tank instead of the stand pipe drain. So when washer would try and pump out water it would spray inside dryer and short out the sensor and give the error. I hooked up drain hose correctly, direct to strand pipe drain and now no longer sprays water inside dryer and drains correctly. Dryer should be working good now."

Not a part from the dryer and I vacuumed out the lint trap and blower wheel last time I was here. Also, because it jammed the wheel, the motor twisted in place and popped the bracket off the back of it. Adjusted the bracket, reattached it to the motor, so the motor is securely clamped down now. The basket feels good, does not feel like a bad bearing. I ran a spin test and it got up to the high speed. The drain pump drains fast. I pulled the washer out and wanted to replace the hall sensor. When I removed the rotor and stator I found brown sludge all over the stator and hall sensor. I can see water leaking from the back of the tub bearing. Now it needs a tub bearing job. I replaced no parts. It will also need if repaired the stator, rotor and hall sensor. ; O-emld tckt , states that autho needed"

The complaint is the whole unit stopped cooling and the ice maker was not working. The ice maker issues was probably caused by the cooling issue. Today the fridge was unplugged when I arrived. I plugged it back in and for ten seconds the evaporator fan runs. After 10 seconds the fan shuts off and the compressor run but it only runs for maybe a minute then it also shuts off. If I reset power it does the same thing. Its most likely going to need the control assembly. The model number on the tag is missing the beginning of the model number. I was able to get the part number off the part. I called the customer to give the quote but he did not answer. I left a message for him to call the office. I created a estimate ticket. ; O-emld tckt

"The customer complaint is the washer does not operate and not draining. I removed the lower panel. I put it on spin and pressed start. The washer spears to lock and does nothing for about 20 seconds. The drain pump starts but only for a couple seconds. I put into service mode and was getting the door lock error. The door lock is loud when its activated. I replaced the door lock. I tried it again and now I get the motor error. I ohmed the motor and it tested good. Per the tech sheet it needs the motor control. "Customer complaint is, ICE ON THE FREEZER FLOOR AND LEAKS ON THE GROUND. Inspected and tested. Found the freezer defrost drain was plugged and frozen over. Defrosted freezer drain from the inside and when I was pulling the refrigerator out, the water line started spraying all over behind the refrigerator. Theres water damage and mold behind the refrigerator, and looks like its been leaking for a long time. I removed about 3 feet of the broken water line and reassembled and tested. No more leaks. I cleaned out the defrost drain tube on the back of refrigerator and tested. Defrost drain is draining great. Refrigerator is now fixed."

"The complaint is the dryer is loud and does not dry well. I verified the dryer is heating. The vent was long behind the dryer. I shortened the dryer duct. I took the dryer apart and cleaned up all the lint. The rear rollers should be replaced but they are NLA. I removed the rollers, I cleaned and oiled them. I removed the idler and also cleaned and oiled it. The belt was bad and falling apart. I replaced the belt. The front seal was off and I found it on a shelf near the dryer. I glued the belt back on. The air flow is very poor. I left the dryer unplugged and advised the customer they need it cleaned asap. I said it will not dry and could cause a fire. ; used 1 341241 (BELT) from stock"

Customer was concerned about a noise that he had a video for that he showed me. It sounded like there was something hitting in the drive train. I tipped machine back to check the running gear and found that the pulley had come loose in the belt had begun to hit against the protective cover. I pulled it apart and was able to tighten it up and it ran great through test mode. Customer also noted they were having a problem with the siphon cups draining completely. I took them apart and cleaned up and found a moderate amount of buildup. I clean both the cassette and the tray. The washer is now fixed.

I dont know if just replacing the elbow will stop it from leaking, because the plastic drain hose on the washer is not completely round and doesnt seal onto the rubber elbow. Customer approved me trying to seal it up with glue. I sealed it up with red glue and advised customer to let sit for 24 hours before using and to keep an eye on it."
