I accessed the door latch switch assembly, removed the old assembly and installed the new assembly. I accessed the thermal fuse behind the user control panel and installed the replacement that I had ordered. I removed the door from its hinges to access the door skirt and spring loaded latch assembly, replaced it and the door skirt too. Once the entire door latch kit was secured, I attempted to heat a cup of water. The microwave activated the high voltage components required for heating and the test was a complete success. The microwave is repaired and good for normal, every day use.

The sheet metal on the very bottom of the range was making contact with the warming dessert drawer when opened. I removed the drawer and adjusted the bends that were out of place. Im more convinced now that this appliance was dropped or treated roughly before the customer began using it. I installed the warming drawer, loaded the drawer with pots and pans and maneuvered the drawer in and out to verify that my repair had solved the noise problem completely. Customer is completely satisfied.

The customer had the replacement fresh food door panel on hand. I removed the damaged door panel off of the fresh food cavity and transferred all hardware and shelving on the new fresh food door. I mounted the new fresh food door onto the hinges, secured it and verified its movement and that the gasket forms an airtight seal.

I swapped the outer portion of the microwave door and transferred all hardware onto the new outer cover. I mounted the new door assembly onto the microwave and verified that the door opens and closes and that it heated up a cup of water.

I entered the dishwasher into the eight step diagnostic sequence available with this model of appliance. The dishwasher did not produce any failed component codes during the diagnostic sequence. I started a Normal wash cycle, the dishwasher filled and began cycling like normal. I opened the door to inspect the water temperature, the water felt cold to the touch. I ran water out of the faucet next to the dishwasher, hot water took almost two minutes to flow from the fixture. The appliance isnt filling with water that is hot enough to clean dishes and then evaporate during the drying period of the wash cycle. I took several pictures of the hot water settings and readings found on the hot water system.
