I attempted a harvest cycle with the craft ice maker, it started to harvest but began to knock very loudly, eventually stopped. I removed the defective ice maker assembly. I installed the new ice maker and ran a harvest cycle, the new ice maker completed a harvest cycle without any problems. I pointed out the ThinQ app for appliance updates and diagnostic tests.

I removed the damaged right fresh food door and transferred all hardware and other fixtures onto the replacement door. I mounted the new right fresh food door to its hinges and tested the movement to make sure that the door closes properly. I examined the door to make sure that there werent any defects or damages that were visible.

I tapped the sealed system and recovered the refrigerant inside. I cut out the defective compressor and existing filter dryer and clean the remaining lines out with pressurized nitrogen. I installed a new compressor and a new filter dryer and pulled a deep vacuum for a dual evaporator system. Once a deep enough vacuum had been achieved. I charged the sealed system with 59 g of our 600 refrigerant and checked high and low side pressures to verify flow of refrigerant. Pictures attached. I told the customer to place a bottle of water in their freezer and wait 24 hours to load up their refrigerator.

I recovered the refrigerant from the sealed system, cut out the defective compressor and filter drier and cleaned the remaining sealed system lines out with nitrogen. I brazed in a low side valve on the compressor, the suction and discharge lines and a new filter drier. Pulled a deep vacuum, double checked that vacuum pressure holds, charged the sealed system with 57 grams of R600 refrigerant and plugged the appliance in to verify repair. The low side and high side looked ideal for each respective half of the system. I passed along the expectations for reaching temperatures for the refrigerator and answered any questions.

I removed the door from the range, the damaged glass panel from the door. I assembled the new glass panel to the inner door assembly and cleaned out glass that was trapped inside. I mounted the repaired door back into the range and locked the hinges. Verified that the foot opens and closes smoothly and without impingement.
