While replacing the spark module , I found a power wire to the spark module that had been pinched in half by a gas line. Must have happened during assembly of the appliance. Pictures attached. I repaired the pinched line with a butt joint and secured it with heat resistant material. I reassembled the top of the stove and tested my repair to verify that all five burners ignite the flame. The range is back online completely and good for normal every day use.

The dishwasher was continuously producing error code DE referring to drain error. Recently it has not appeared as often, but still appears.I removed the existing drain pump. Tested the drain pump windings for resistance, very high and out of range according to LG tech sheet. Replaced the drain pump motor and started a wash cycle. The appliance filled with water, washed, drained and cycled through the various stages of the wash cycle. I filled the dishwasher three times and drained it each time to verify drain pump function and examined the undercarriage for water leakage. The dishwasher is repaired and good for normal everyday use.

Standard failed compressor job tap the high side. Found that there was a full charge of refrigerant so I recovered it. I cut out the old compressor and Old filter dryer. Blew out the remaining refrigerant lines with nitrogen. I cleaned and braised in a new compressor and filter dryer. I pulled a deep vacuum and updated the power control board to operate the new compressor. I charged the system with 5.11 ounces of 134 and check the high and low side pressure to make sure the customer has good flow of refrigerant in their appliance. I told them to wait 24 hours before adding food back to either cavity.

I removed the top, door and bulkhead assemblies. I found that the heating element had failed by breaking away from the wire harness.(pictured) I replaced the heater assembly and the internal thermistors that operate the heater circuit. Plugged the appliance in and verified heat, airflow and tumbling functions of the dryer. The hardware and repairs were successful and the appliance is good for everyday use.
