"The customer said its not making ice. I checked the temps and temps are good. The freezer is around minus 1 and the fresh food temp was around 37. I checked for ice maker faults and the F5 timed ice making was the only saved fault. I ran all the ice maker harvest test and they all passed. When I ran the water fill test the water valve buzzed but it did not fill. I removed the ice maker filled tube and blew through it. The tube is not restricted. I ran the water valve with the hose disconnect and water comes out the valve. I hooked the water line back up and ran the test again. Now the ice maker fills. The water was very cloudy like they just changed the filter and they did not purge the filter. I ran several large cups of water until the water was clear. I still think there is an ice maker issue. Please get approval for the ice maker W11658802 and order it. The ice bucket was cracked so I used the parts that were sent. There are no manufacturing faults. I switched all the sensor driven heaters to 100 percent on. ; snapped 3 QuickPics, states that autho needed"

"Customers complaint not making ice. Prior visit replaced icemaker. Looked at the icemaker saw that there was some water inside the unit but it was only halfway full and it is freezing up. Removed the hose connector under the door, then tested water valve and found. Im only getting a trickle in water dispenser is working but it is a little bit weaker not as weak as the icemaker. Old fridge out protective Mat then removed waterline from valve and tested pressure. Bunch of black debris filled the first little bucket. I had then finally cleared out. Have decent water pressure to the valve. Its testing like a bad valve. My guess is it got all junk up from this black debris see photos. Quoted customer for new valve only charging for part price. "Trips breaker during heat portion of cycle. I checked control board, and its good with no melts or burns. I owned out the heater from the control board and it is 16 homes. The fuses are not open either. I then checked for leaks and there are no leaks underneath the dishwasher. I then put it into test mode and let it run through a test cycle. The heater came on at the six minute mark and stayed on for another four minutes and Drew 7.3 A the entire time and did not trip the breaker. I then asked the customer if I could check the breaker box and saw that the dishwasher is on an arc fault breaker. Spoke with the customer about issues the arc fault. Breaker causes for appliances. He will consult an electrician."

Checked the top oven and found the convection fan and the broil element were work the bake element was not coming on. Checked the bake element and it was not opened. Removed the trim, covers and slid the unit out on the cart, had to remove top cover to get the board out, found the relay on the board had a melded solider joint. Repaired the joint, installed covers and put unit back. Cycled and tested the bake element came on."

"Washer has been leaving water in the washer at the end of the cycle. I put it into service mode and there was only one error, which was load detected during clean cycle. I then put into auto test mode, and it drained great. Asked tenant how much detergent they use, and they showed me they will usually fill up the cover for the detergent 1/3 of the way with HE detergent. Ran through all tests. Fills great with all valves. Told tenant to cut way back on detergent usage. Too many suds and washer thinks its still full of water so wont spin at end of cycle. I flushed water through to help clean out excess detergent, runs great."

"Customer complaint is, BOTTOM IS OK, TOP OVEN IS GETTING TOO HOT AND THEY HAD TO TURN OFF THE BREAKER. Model number is partially wiped off and I cant read it. Inspected and found the board is fried. Also one of the temperature sensors ohmed out bad. Customer had a friend swap sensors and replace one, but Im not sure which one is original. The sensors are different in both ovens. This is going to need a new board and both sensors. Installed new board and installed the Whirlpool sensor that we stock in the upper oven because it has the same connector and tested. Both ovens are heating great. Oven is now fixed.

Over overuse of detergent. Ran through test mode. It leaks water pretty bad through the transmission. Also, support rods are in need of replacement, causing it to wobble more. Center bearing/drive shaft is binding. Needs the support rods (cant find part number), W10435302 bearing kit, impeller wash plate which is stuck to transmission WPW10357576. The ball bearings of the rack slide is falling out. "Customer states the oven doesnt work Cycled and tested found the unit trys to preheat. Checked the amp draw on the igniter found no amp draw. Pulled unit out checked the igniter for any voltage found it was at 15 volts. Removed the panel and checked at the board, there was 120 volts at the board. Traced wires down. Found a spot where the wire for the igniter was pinched and grounded out. Removed the oven top and side cover repaired the wire. Put all covers back cycled and tested the oven now works. Put unit back and tested the burners and oven all working correctly at this time."

"Customer states there was a drain issue.When I arrived, the washer had the covers removed, the customer had the pump and filter assembly removed. Customer said they cleaned the pump and filter. Reinstalled the parts and ran diagnostics did find codes F20, F21 both for drain issues. Ran a test cycle the machine had no problem. Checked the pump, filter and hoses for leaks. Ran a rinse and spin cycle, unit had no issues or codes. Informed customer that the pump was running and pumped both times I checked. Customer said there was a quarter in the pump when then took the assembly apart. Let customer know if the issue or codes come back I could come back with a pump but the quarter was most likely the issue.

Went through service mode completely never aired out. Never had an issue. No bulletins for this issue or anyone else with a relatable issue. Customer know of my diagnosis. Hes on edge of just buying a new one anyway. I explained he would have to kind of tested himself. By when it would stop working check if there was water in it when it would stop. It would just more info to build up more of a case instead of just throwing parts at it.

The unit is cooling its just not blowing cold air. I removed the food and evaporator cover. I found the fan was not working and the fan blade is pushed back. I tapped on the fan and it started. I removed the blade and tightened the clamp. I put lock tite on the shaft and put the blade back on. I made sure it was not pushed back. The freezer is over packed and the rear cover may have pushed on the fan blade.

For no cooling I found that the Yvette fan wasnt making any noise disassembled unit tested voltage getting 120 V to the fan fan has seized. Adjusted hinges as best I could on door door. Seems like its been tweaked out of place is in the right places and no adjustment can be made it on gasket. Unit does now shut and close and seal without a golf club. It is not perfect but 100 times better. Customer is happy with adjustment explained if they wanted to do better, but would need new hinges did not quote for new hinges would have to see if I would need a second person with these heavy wood doors quoted for new fan customer approved ordered from Sunberg and rescheduled.
