So we tried to tap on the motor and see if we could get break free and work. After a while we got it to start and now its running. We advised the customer it could lock up again but have seen a few keep working. Said we would charge 79.90 for labor. Said if it acts up again to let us know and would need to be replaced. We would subtract the 79.90 off the 109 labor to replace."

The problem is with the water line in the ceiling cavity of the freezer. I disassembled ice maker and tried defrosting from both sides and couldnt get it defrosted. I recommended the customer unplug refrigerator and leave the door open for at least 24 hours. I have never seen this ice maker design and it seems like we might be seeing a problem with them freezing up. It just looks like a bad design. I turned the water back on looked it over found no leaks. Customer wanted to use 10 foot line so thats what we did and coiled it up just where the other coil had been previously. Customer complained that the fridge and freezer isnt holding temperature. Customer notes over time theyve had to make adjustments to keep the fridge at temperature and now its just not maintaining consistently. Upon arrival and inspection I found the freezer although being set at zero was in the mid teens 12 to 14?. I tested and found the air dampener to work and open and close as well as the evaporator and condenser fans. I took apart the evaporator cover and defrosted and watched for 20 minutes. The evaporator did not frost up completely 50% of it had no frost. Failed system was found.

Tested and now the drum spins smoothly. Tested heat with vent disconnected and it cycles to 180ish degrees, i attach vent and it spiked to 240 degrees. Dryer vent needs to be checked/cleaned out due to the big heat spike difference."

CUstomer said they had some plumbing issues in garage floor drain, we checked there and it was overflowed and lots of water in the garage. Appears that the drain to the street is clogged and it back flowed in the garage. During the really cold spell the garage froze then it would back fill up the stand pipe. Thats my assumption since water is backfilling into garage now.Informed him that plumber will need to see why and where the clog is.Washer itself is working good."
