The customer said the oven has a strong gas smell when the oven comes on. I started the oven bake at 350. Soon after the oven smells stronger than it should. I removed the bottom and noticed the flame was big and lazy. I adjusted air shutter until the flame sound was better and the flame was tight in the burner. "Customer complaint is, THE DRYER WILL RUN AND HEAT A LITTLE, BUT WILL NOT DRY CLOTHES ALL THE WAY. THE CHECK VENT LIGHT CAME ON. Inspected and tested. Dryer heat was quick cycling and was only staying on for a couple seconds. I disconnected vent and now dryer is heating great and cycling between 100F and 205F and air flow is 26mph on back of dryer. The vent is the issue. They just added a addition on to the house and the vent is part of that and goes out the roof. They must have messed something up, because customer was not having this issue before."

The customer said when it spins the washer sounds like a airplane taking off. The basket has a Little Rock back and forth and when I spin it by hand its loud. The seal has leaked water into the bearing so now the tub bearings are bad. The basket and tub assembly needs to be replaced. The parts for the repair are showing no longer available by Samsung. The total cost for the repair would be over $1600. I advised the customer to call Samsung for assistance.

Customers complaint is not drying properly. Tenant had clothing inside dryer and it was dry. Run unit with out clothing and it was heating well. Looked at the lint trap and couldnt even see through it. Will need a new lint trap for sure to help with airflow and drying. Also removed the heat exchanger and had some lint on that. Explained to tenant how to clean the heat exchanger and should be done once a month. Everything mechanically seams to be running properly. Called home owner and explained what I found. Customers complaint oven top or bottom not working. Verified complaint. Both top and bottom wouldnt work on either bake or broil. Pulled unit out and unplugged to get to control board. Checked control board for any burnt spots but nothing visible. Plugged unit in to get voltage reading. It started working properly. Tested all features and its working great. The upper rack is falling off. I found both sides to the upper rack adjusters are broken and other parts are missing. Both racks have rust on them. I created a list of whats needed. Please get the price for the over size shipping of the racks. Please then contact the customer with a grand total. I created estimates and added pics of the bulb book prices with the racks. I told the customer it will be expensive to add the racks. Make sure to order 2 of the parts that are marked. The ticket estimate I created does not have the racks on there. "Customer complaint is, Not draining. This is a stacked unit. Customer had already pulled the filter out and cleaned it and said it was really dirty. Washer was running when I got here and the spin setting was turned off so it didnt spin the clothes out at the end. I showed this to them and advised on making sure its on. Otherwise washer is testing good. Customer also said its loud and shaking in a spin. There washing towels and blankets and the loads are really heavy. This is a residential washer and not made for washing heavy loads all day long. Washer is level, theres nothing different we can do to make it stop shaking so bad."

The washer does not fill with hot water and the cold comes in slow too. I found the top part of the agitator does not ratchet like it should so the clothes do not come as clean. The customer said the dishwasher is leaking. The customer replaced the door gasket but he said its still leaking. I removed the lower spray arm and showed the customer how its splitting. When the water heats up it causes the spray arm to separate. When is separates water sprays out the center and causes water to leak out the bottom. The gasket the customer put in was put in backwards. I removed the gasket and put in the right way. I gave the customer the number for the new spray arm W10837249.

"The customer says when they try to use the oven it will spark, make noise and pop the circuit breaker. I pull the oven out and remove the top cover and found the black wire at the terminal block is completely burnt up. This is commonly from either the screws being too tight and stripped or not tight enough. Today I replaced the burnt block and power cable. The oven was heating up good."
