The customers are hearing a rattling noise when they dry their clothes.I removed the top cover, inspected the idler belt, drum, idler pulley wheel, blower motor/wheel. The moving parts on the dryer are free from defects .The drum moves smoothly, felt isnt torn or out of place. I found two loose screws that were not holding the back panel tightly, I snugged them down, put the top back on and turned the dryer on. The dryer tumbles, heats and produces air flow quietly. The dryer vent stack and gas supply line are touching the back of the dryer, there are friction marks on the vent, I moved the dryer away so that it wont vibrate against said lines.

Fridge has been noisy making vibrating sound ever since new compressor was installed. I found a couple places where copper lines from the compressor were touching metal. We were also able to figure out that it vibrates when it is pushed back near the wall. The floor isnt level and thats causing the majority of the issue. Customer is going to shim. Also, the water valve has been leaking so I undid the connection and used plumbers tape and redid the connection and now it doesnt leak. Lastly, the water dispenser hasnt been dispensing water. They have a saddle valve in the basement. I made some adjustments opening and closing the saddle valve and now they have water coming out of the dispenser.

Fridge tends to smell musty when its in a cooling cycle (fans running). Customer cleaned out the freezer and fresh food sections. Cleaned under it and behind it, including by the compressor. I took evaporator panel off and also noticed that there was what looked to be frozen milk covering part of the bottom of the freezer. I used my steamer and steamed out evaporation drain and all the ice in freezer, and the vents/ looked under fridge with pump wedges and didnt see anything. Pulled fridge out and checked by evaporator and that area. Compressor area is all spotless and nothing giving off a smell. I told customer to give it a couple days and see how it smells: all of fridge and freezer as well as under the fridge and behind it are immaculate. Nothing left to clean and I cant confirm any unusual smells.

COOKING ISSUES, OVEN, NO POWER IN THE OVEN-OVEN NOT WORKING. Customer said it either trips breaker, or gives a F22 error. It tripped breaker about 3 minutes after starting a bake cycle. I called tech line and talked to Craig and we put oven into test mode and turned the bake element on and it tripped the breaker about 3 minutes in. He said I will need to pull oven out and do more testing from the back. I pulled oven out and ohmed out the bake element and it was good at 22.5 ohms. I removed the bake element and it visibly looks good. I checked wiring and it looks good. I turned power back on and turned the bake element back on so I could do more testing from the back and now it doesnt trip the breaker. I reassembled everything and started a bake cycle at 350F and it preheated without tripping the breaker. Option to replace bake element. no repair at this time.

Customer states that the machine made a really loud sound for three or four hours coming from the freezer and then stopped, and the temperatures seem to return to normal after that. Opened up the freezer section and found a lot of frost buildup on the top of the machine and big chunks of ice behind the evaporator cover. It appears that this machine got really frosted up because the door was left open at some point and blocked the fan. It seems like its gone through a few defrost cycles and it mostly fixed itself and I broke off the last few chunks of ice. Check the door gasket to make sure that it was ceiling properly. Everything seems to be working great at this time.

I replaced the ice maker because the old wasnt twisting to break the cubes or off the tray. I had to steam several dams of ice away from the vents, fill tube and shelves. I tested the new ice maker with the harvest button on the bottom of the motor to verify that water flows easily into the tray and no where else. Back to normal operation.

I removed the lid , control board and door assemblies. I installed the new burner ignition coil to the dryer burner aperture and reassembled the dryer, connecting wire harnesses as I went. I plugged the dryer back in and ran three different cycles to verify my repair and diagnosis was accurate and complete. The customers deep freeze isnt reaching set temperature, its getting down to 10 degrees above zero but set for-10. The evaporator fan motor is running, defrost issues not present, the frost pattern on the evaporator reminds me of a fresh food evaporator but I didnt find any sealed system leaks. The compressor amp draw is only at 2 ohms, should be 3.6 ohms, discharge line is very hot, suction line is cold, so is the drier filter. Everything I found points to a weak compressor, would need to replace it and the drier filter.

The residents ice maker isnt making any ice. I ran a diagnostic test and verified that the solenoid is receiving 120 volts but the ice maker tray doesnt have a drop of water in it. I also attempted a harvest test with the ice maker and it would start to harvest but when the tray twists, a loud snapping sound can be heard repeatedly, and it would not can for water at the end of the harvest. I verified the issue with frost all over the top of the ceiling and on the back of the evaporator cover. It does not have a defrost issue. I found the gap between the freezer door gasket and the cabinet. The gasket was installed correctly. I did heat up and stretch out the gasket then put some foam strips behind the gasket so it pushes on the gasket and seals tighter. I replaced the evaporator fan blade with the new 6 blade fan and added the foam strips to the air return tower. I also applied grease on the gasket so it makes a tighter seal. ;
