Im not sure why this frosted over, maybe the doors were not shut all the way. Otherwise refrigerator tested good. "Water has been leaking from the dishwasher into the basement. Found water has been leaking for a while now from the drain line, as well as the circulation pump motor. The seals have broken down on the motor allowing the water to come through. Quite a bit of damage to the wooden floors underneath the dishwasher and to the sheet rock behind it. I uninstalled the dishwasher and took off the parts that were bad so that the customer can have those When they submit to homeowners insurance for the damage. Quoted the customer for a new drain line and circulation pump but with it being pretty old they are going to buy a new one."

Mouse chewed through wire to ignitor, and insulation from oven fell on ignitor and melted onto it. Replaced ignitor, cleaned off pan, ignites great now, nice and clean. Appears that the hinges are locked up, but there is no way to get to the hinges without pulling door out a good 10. Explained to customer that if I do that, it will damage the Chasis, hinges, and inner door. Then customer wouldnt be able to use either oven. Did hard reset, lock works perfectly for upper door. Control board recognizes correctly when door is locked and unlocked. Not a control board (electrical) issue or lock issue."

Customers complaint with the washer as she put a load in it locked itself and would not unlock. Upon arrival and inspection I found a stored error for the door lock. I reset this error and ran unit through it self diagnostic testing. The washer completed the testing in the door lock behaved. We put in a fresh load of laundry and it started as designed. I quoted customer door lock in the off chance that it is working sporadically.

Customer complains the dishwasher has no power and when it did it washed poorly. Upon arrival and inspection I found the dishwasher had been unplugged from its power source. I restored power and tested and found the hard water was very hard. We tested and found their water softeners failed. I advise the customer she will need to use a citric acid base cleaner to get the unit back cleaned up and a premium style soap to see better results.

"As Im here the gas was turned off and outlet was unplugged. Turned on gas and plugged it in, tested cooktop and no sparking. Found that all the burner heads were unscrewed/stripped out and front left dual burner was missing gas holder/orifices. I showed customer and they said there was a random bag of parts which had some of the parts needed but not all. Someone had taken it apart and not put it back together with parts missing. Customers complaint with the fridge is that theres a water discharge from the freezer and the lower tray is full of water and ice. Upon arrival and inspection I found the defrost drain was plugged. When I removed the drain hose I found a heavy buildup that was moldy. Ive cleared the back up and defrosted the freezer completely. I tested the drain and it drained water perfectly. The fridge is now fixed. Note I added a few extra screws and some hardware was missing.

"Customer complaint is, strong burning scent like Rubber. Inspected and tested. Air flow on outside of house was only 15mph. The bulkhead was 50 percent plugged. Found the thermal cutoff has failed. Installed new thermal cutoff kit and tested. Airflow on back of dryer is 36mph and heat is cycling between 220F and 120F with vent disconnected. Connected vent and heat is now cycling at about the same. After cleaning out the bulkhead, I now have 22mph on outside of house. It looks like it got to hot in there because of the bulkhead.
