I removed the old sump assembly.I installed the new drain pump and drive motor onto the new sump assembly, the water level sensor too. Transferred other smaller hardware to the new sump and pushed the new sump into place, flipped the tabs closed to grab the dishwasher body and hooked up drain lines and power lines. Turned water back on and power back on, treated my repair to verify water tight fixtures. The dishwasher is leak free and ready for use.The drain pump I ordered wasnt on the service order, so I added it to the ticket.

NOT COOL ENOUGH. FF compartment is 55F and freezer is 32F. I removed the evaporator cover and theres only frost around the outside of the evaporator. I turned the heater on and it never got hot. I defrosted evaporator and the bimetal is split open. The fan bearing is going out and is shaking and vibrating and is really loud. After 20 minutes theres only frost on about 50 percent. The sealed system is also failing. Refrigerator is 25 years old. Customer is going to replace the refrigerator.

FREEZING IN THE FRIDGE ICE BUILDING UP ON THE BACK. Freezer is 0F FF compartment is 40F. Theres ice buildup all around the vents in the FF compartment. I removed the evaporator cover and theres very little frost on the evaporator. I completely defrosted evaporator and turned it back on and after 20 minutes theres only frost on about 25 percent of the evaporator. The sealed system has failed. Also the doors are not sealing well. I think the FF door is warped and the freezer door scrapes when you shut it. Customer is going to replace the refrigerator.

The customers are having multiple issues with any selected dry cycle ranging from clothes being too hot to clothes not drying quickly enough.I found a huge build up of twigs and other material that tells me an animal is living out has lived in the dryer vent stack. This material will need to be cleaned out for unit dryer to work as expected.I slid the dryer out because there was no air flow at the outdoor end of the dryer vent. I found for handfuls of twigs, leaves and lint that. The dryer runs perfectly when disconnected from the vent. I referred the customer to dryer vent wizard.

The customers dishwasher isnt going into selected wash mode 100 percent of the time, sometimes it will when the door is held in place for a minute or two.I slid the dishwasher out to look at the latch strike, the harness was fully seated. The strike latch had marks that made me think there was pressure from the top down, maybe something was sitting on top of it for an extended period at some point before installation. Once the new strike was in place, I plugged the machine back in to verify that the dishwasher door closes nice and tight, the wash cycle starts without pressing on the door and leaks and drips are not present. The dishwasher is back to square one and good for everyday use.

Unit is not cooling. Getting proper voltage to the unit getting proper voltage to compressor, but the compressor is not kicking on. Put in test mode everythings running getting about .2 A from the compressor, but it is not doing anything. Unit needs a new compressor would recommend also a new control board. Hes going to try to get it covered under warranty because its still under the five-year warranty.

Customer states machine had a lot of frost buildup on the back wall and that the fridge section didnt seem to be cooling down to temperature properly. Upon arrival temperature scan showed the fridge was at 40?. She said this has been sort of an intermittent problem. Opened up the freezer and checked the evaporator, and there is signs that it had frosted up really thick at some point. Removed the remaining chunks of ice and put the machine into a force defrost mode to ensure that all the defrost components were working properly. Things seem to be working in the heater came on. make sure the evaporator was completely defrosted and reassembled the machine. Everything seems to be working properly now.

Dishwasher continually runs the drain pump. Found the flood pan full of water. Dried all the water out. Ran it for a half hour and could not find any drips or parts that had evidence of dripping. Did find a lot of detergent suds in dishwasher. Used some olive oil to help get rid of suds. Thats possibly what caused it to overflow and flood. If it happens again, I would quote them for a water valve as he said once it did over fill it when it wasnt running.

The customers ice maker isnt producing ice and the water dispenser pressure is low.I entered the refrigerator into service mode and checked all steps that apply to the ice maker function, there is cold air flow, water supply and ice maker hardware checks out. The amount of water making it into the tray was low, I adjusted the fill time to account for extremely low water pressure to the refrigerator. The customers have a reverse osmosis system that is affecting water pressure to the refrigerator. I did not find any leaks inside the fresh food cabinet or the ice room.

Customer wanted us to check over freezer thats out in the garage. Fan is operating correctly was at -6?. He had it on the coldest setting so that is good. There is no condenser fan or condenser in the back. I did say when its extremely hot it might not be a bad idea to have a fan set up to blow back there to cool everything off cause theres nothing to cool
