Customer stated ff and freezer gets warm occasionally. Plugged in SmartHQ and found no related faults. Started test mode and found flacky evap fan motor and ff damper. Replaced evap and damper. Refrigerator works as it should. If problem returns, recommend new control board, compressor and drier, as looking at service history, problem looks to be compressor failing to start about every 10 days. Wasnt starting for them last week. Would light up but wouldnt start. I could feel a little moisture on underside of countertop. I dried it off, put silver vent tape on it. Started it and it runs great now. Most likely had some moisture that got into the UI last week. Last time they tried to use it was Friday. Must have dried out. If they have issue again, I would want to come back with a new UI and tub seal.

I replaced the ice maker because it wasnt calling for water.I replaced the inlet valve assembly because the new ice maker was sending voltage to the solenoid but water flow did more happen. New parts restored water flow to the ice maker and restored some pressure to the water dispenser.

Wasnt making ice. I did a power cycle. Called scottsman tech support. They had me wait 170 seconds. Verified water is coming into basin, and drain works. Perfect cone shaped spray going into the ice maker area. Tuned dial to 9pm mark. They said in an hour it should begin harvesting. Working great now.

Unit was in self clean and then lock got stuck, and then was making a grinding sound when the door is shut. I was able to uninstall lock mechanism and got the gears unstuck. Then was able to reset it and get it back into the unlocked position. Called GE because little symbol is flashing. See attached photo. Its for WiFi. Everything works now.
