Customer states that the dryer will intermittently stop mid cycle even in timed dry and will have to restart it where it left off . Also customer said that it takes 2-3 cycles to dry clothes.The dryer did stop/pause 10 minutes into timed dry cycle and I had to hit start to get it running again. I replaced touch pad user interface and main board.I ran test of temperature inside dryer with vent disconnected and it is cycling heat normally. I attach vent and it would get much hotter inside dryer and would not dissipate the heat very fast which could cause moisture and long dry times since its not venting out the hot/wet air outside to dry clothes efficiently.I showed customer but dryer is on 2nd floor and looks like it vents out though the roof. Complaint is getting the I20 code. Customer said it would happen during the middle of the cycle. You would hear the drain pump run and then keep running. Keep running and then give the air code. When they run a 30 minute cycle doesnt seem like it ever happens. They also ran the cleaner through it then ran it multiple times and now I have not had the error message for a week. The drain pump is draining perfectly fine. It has a good high loop. Everything looks like its installed properly and drains good. The only thing kind of left on this would be replacing the pressure sensor. Something could be clogged up in the pressure sensor and give the message. Cleaned out the pressure sensor. Make sure theres nothing in it tested and it seems to be working. Good customer try it out and see what happens.A00055408 pressure sensor

Issue is icemaker leaking. On arrival unit was turned off turned unit on cycled icemaker. Unit started to fill no leaks at the water valve or waterlines going into the unit itself. That unit run for about 30 minutes never got a leak. I see some signs of leakage, but it is too hard to know without the unit being running on arrival. Could be a icemaker leaking. It be not getting cold enough or defrosting and melting the ice and leaking. This does not have a drain pump or drain line it just goes into a bucket. Let them know that they let run but keep an eye on it cause it is a leak complaint. Call landlord to try to get a little bit more information about the unit, but they did not answer so I have nowhere to go from here.

Theres significant frost built up in the freezer evaporator area. The defrost cycle isnt lasting long enough, each defrost period more ice builds and builds on itself. The evaporator fan is fully functional, no need to replace. The compressor is fully operational too, frost pattern throughout the evaporator. I replaced the defrost control, steamed the top of the evaporator free from a significant amount of frost, assembled the freezer panels and verified functioning parts once power was restored. Install new drain pump from last diagnosis. Once I installed it tested multiple times for leaks and to make sure it was draining properly. Unit is working great. I did recommend using a cleaner through the unit just because of the sitting water for a week.

Dryer getting hot but not drying clothes. Even very small loads. Tenant asked why the really small loads on sense dry end up slipping to the end of the cycle. Explained about sensor bars/ confirmed its heating well. But both lint screens were totally plugged with gunk. Spent awhile cleaning them both out. Now the air is flowing. Tested a wet dish towel and after just 10 minutes it was noticeably drier. Stacked unit. All running well now.

FLASHING A UPSIDE DOWN FL ERROR. I cant find this error in the tech sheet, so I called techline and talked to Steve and its not an error. When you power cycle washer it says tL and then the software version, so it means top load. I was able to reset and started a spin cycle and after about 3 minutes it gave the tL and shut off. Steve had me check voltage and it was good, so he advised on unplugging connectors and reseating and if thats doesnt fix it to replace the top control board. Quoted customer to install new control board. Customer is going to try using and will let us know if he wants us to order the board.

Disassembled the dryer. Replace the front slide bearing kit. Also try cleaning out more of the sand and debris that got in there. This is the same sand and debris that wrecked the wash machine. Theres only so much I can clean out of the dryer, but sounds 100 times better.
