"Customer states that when they attempt to start a drying cycle, the machine buzzes and will not heat and tumble, SENSING only blinks in user interface. Took the top off of the machine and started diagnostic tests, F4E1 error code was stored, no other codes present. Found that the ice fill valve is frozen with ice. Which means that water valve is not fully shutting off and leaks into ice tray and overfills causing ice block. Also damaged ice maker and when it cycle will slip and make loud thwacking sound. Needs water valve assembly and ice maker replaced. Customer approved estimate. "Compressor is starting/ working intermittently. Because of this, freezer is freezing and thawing on and off. "Microwave not heating. Found a normally closed door switch with continuity all the time. However, when disconnected from its connectors, it functions normally. There is a short in the transformer. The terminal on the cooling fan was loose and broke off. Needs transformer, wire harness and fan motor. "Freezer has been warming up. Found the condenser fan not running. Tested voltage to it, no voltage from board. Spoke with Bosch tech support. Needs 12 volts dc, but board isnt sending any. Main control board also has plastic housing around it that completely crumbled when I pulled it out. Needs new board and plastic housing that goes around it. Freezer fan is working and freezer is cold. I cant find any documentation on this; but evaporator fan for the refrigerator is not running and i cant get the dampener to open and close. Not getting power to fan so maybe board issue? Cant find anything to put this into diagnostics. "Customer stated the unit was not cleaning correctly, and a rack was not working correctly.Found the unit was packed with debris, the drain pump had debris in it. "Customer states the unit was clicking and the temp of the unit was off. Found the customer had changed the degrees from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Unit was making a grinding noise. Found the cam on the bottom of the machine is worn out after replacing the unit was a little better but needs the basket hub. Could not get the flex plate off. ; saved tckt

"Upon arrival, I went ahead and replaced the sump assembly with a new part. At this time I went ahead and reassembled the whole machine and turned it onto test. After this, I discovered it was still leaking. It appeared to be dripping through the diverter, not around it, like I had previously thought. Please see attached photos for what I quoted the customer. The customer is unsure of whether or not theyre going to proceed with repair. Install new door everything went good. Everything is working properly.

"Evaporator coil was frosted up, not defrosting properly. Evap fan running. Found some loose wire connection going to the heater in the evaporator section. Reconnected heater connector and steam defrosted the evaporator. We verified it is now defrosting and working again."

Customer says it is taking 2 cycles to dry clothes in normal setting. Found that there was lint build up inside dryer that I cleaned out. Also the type of vent has mesh which blocks lint and causes poor air flow. I recommended that they remove the grid on the outside dryer vent and the flaps prevent critters.Outside vent is on 2nd floor.Tested and dryer is cycling heat normally. Recommended that timed dry be used to prevent mixed loads dropping time down if damp clothes dont hit the moisture sensor.Dryer is working good.

"Dishwasher was gushing water out from the door seal about 7 inches above bottom of door. I found the door trim was folded over, not allowing the door to shut all the way. Also found dishwasher wasnt level so I leveled it. And cut off some of the door trim that was broken and possibly interfering with the door seal. No leaks now."

Ran diagnostics and tested convection fan and it is running. On this model I explained to customer that the convection fan will not turn on until oven is preheated and it will cycle on and off and not continually run. All other functions are working. Range is working good.

"Refrigerator did not act up for us. It has been working for a couple weeks after the customer unplugged/reset it. Door switches are working good. Unit is working great.

"The start switch had some spilled liquid where it seats, causing some stickiness. We cleaned the switch and it is not sticking anymore, checks good."

"The customer is concerned that their dryer isnt heating/drying clothes. I accessed the heater thermostats and element to inspect their function, they all passed testing with multi meter. There was a huge build up of lint that was restricting air flow, so I cleaned it all out, plugged the dryer back in and watched it run for five minutes in time Dry on high heat, dryer runs like normal."

"The customer states that their DW leaks during wash cycles. I filled the unit and inspected the water supply line for leaks three times and I didnt find any. The dishwasher ran for twenty minutes, combined , and I could not replicate any possible leak. The dishwasher drained three times without an indication of where a leak might be coming from. I checked the upper and lower spray arms for defects but could not find any. I forced the machine into diagnostic testing to check for any stored error codes but none were found. The motor assembly seal is whole, not leaking. I told the customer to use the machine like normal and if the issue reappears, call us back and well be happy to come back."

Customer states it takes a long time to preheat and will sometimes make a boom. Opened up the machine and discovered a weak igniter. Replaced with a new part from truck stock and tested. Machine seems to be working perfectly now.

Customer complaint getting slim and residue in the dishwasher. Everything is working properly went through test mode customer said they have gone through a few different brands. I explained being that the motor and everything seams to be working properly its normally a soap issue. Told them about using a dishwasher cleaning tablet. To help clean out the slim and sludge

Replaced bad icemaker assembly. Now everything works great in service mode. Cycles and fills.

Installed part from last diagnosis once installed tested multiple times to check for water leaks never had a drop. Everything is working properly.

Converted the range to natural gas for the customer at this time. Adjusted the burners and tested everything including the oven. Everything seems to be working properly now.

Ended up finding the vent needed to be cleaned. Temps 30 degrees hotter with vent connected. And heat would cut out quicker. After cleaning vent the heat stays on much longer and is similar in temp to dryer with vent disconnected.

Customer states no ice production. Opened up unit and inspected ice maker. Cycled the unit and discovered no ice entering into the mold. Checked fill tube and it was clear. Inspected valve and filter head and discovered a frozen water line. Defrosted and tested. Icemaker appears to be working now.

installed all parts went through test made sure everything was working properly. Icemaker cycling. Water valve is pushing a water and no leaks and control board is operating properly.

"Replaced filter housing, Tested and no more leaks. Refrigerator is working good."

Customer states it takes a very long time for the machine to start heating. Opened it up and inspected the igniter. Igniter seemed weak and unable to open gas valve. Replaced with truck stock part and tested. Seems to be working properly now.

"Installed new door tested unit. Let unit run for 15 minutes no leaks and everything is operating properly

When i got here, the dishwasher had water on bottom as if it didnt drain but then customer said that the dishwasher wouldnt turn on. Found that the plug underneath sink was barely plugged into outlet. I plugged in fully and dishwasher turns on. Ran test and dishwasher drains. Ran quick cycle and all functions are working good as im here.I showed customer to watch for outlet plug and if no power happens again to check plug first.Also customer said dishwasher would run for hours. I pulled out dishwasher and it ran for 45 minutes and found nothing wrong and no leaks. Customer will use as normal and call back if problems continue.

Installed water hammer arrestors and tested. Complete. Sounds better

"Customer states there is a grinding motor sound.Cycled tested the water was not all the way on, the unit filled with water as is should. Went to drain unit and found the pump was grinding. Removed the back cover, removed the pump. Disassembled and found a quarter in the pump. Removed the quarter and put the pump back together. Cycled and tested the unit pumped and drained as it should. The customer is now aware that this can happen and will check the clothes for coins before washing."

"Customer states there is standing water on the floor whenever machine drains. Upon arrival tipped back machine to look for any signed of a leak. Could not find anything. Filled machine and put it into a drain and spin mode. Water appears to be possibly coming up from a floor drain besides the washer when its draining. Filled and drained the machine a couple more times and thoroughly checked the drain pumps and hoses and tub and valves for any signs of leak, but could not find anything. Ultimately could not re-create customers issue. Told them to keep an eye on that floor drain and if they see water coming up from it that they will need to call a plumber."

Not draining. Found a wad of hair stuck in drain pump impeller. Took apart washer and took apart drain pump. Cleaned out drain pump. Now when I ran it it drained awesome.

"At this time, I checked the machine for error codes and could not find any. It appears as though the machine has not had any issues in the last few cycles. Customer states that they have not had this issue since they last reset it. Instructed customer on how to properly reset this machine when it needs to be done. Everything looks great at this time."

"Customer states got back to burners were not functioning, and that the indicator lamp on the machine would not turn on. Opened it up and discovered that the indicator lamp had become disconnected. Reattached it to the lens and tested. Inspected the back to burners and found that the back right burner had been improperly inserted into the socket and so I re-did that and now that one is working. Discovered that the back left burner is burnt out and measured open when I checked for continuity. This burner will need to be replaced. I asked customer if they would be comfortable installing this new burner themselves and they confirmed that they were so if we could ship this part direct to the customer that would be great. Opened up the machine and removed it from Alan and saw signs of water leaking inside of the machine. This triggered the leak sensor. "Big ice block that defrost and leaks into freezer drawers. Also ice maker, ice tray is broken. Also the water valve is making squealing noise when filling. Customer states the unit started sparking. Removed the back cover found the terminal block melted. Tried using what I had in my van. The terminal block would not work also need to replaced a few of the wire terminals. ; saved tckt

"Customer states the unit wont drain.Vacuumed out the dishwasher. Removed the lower screen and vacuumed out the lower sump. Tried filling with water and checked the unit would not drain. Removed the hose from the drain at the sink and checked found some debriss, Cleaned out. Filled the unit and tried again, still plugged. Plugged the unit out and removed the dishwashers drain line from the machine, found the clog was in the line that went from behind the machine under the floor to the drain. Was able to vacuum out the line and got a lot of debris out. Put the unit back in and cycled and tested. The unit drains good. The unit is across from the sink and had about 8 ft extended drain line."

PRIOR FLOOR DAMAGE AND WATER DAMAGE FLOOR IS WARPED. customer complaint making loud noise randomly. Wasnt making the noise on arrival. Pulled unit out on protective floor mat. Unit started to make a loud noise. Had customer listen and said that was the noise. Removed kick panel in back and found the compressor has been replaced before. Looks like it was vibrating on the back cover. Put some sound pad on where it was rubbing. Put in test mode and now unit isnt making noise. Pushed unit back under test mode so all fans and compressor running and still no noise. Unit is now working properly

The customer said it has never heated. I found a wire off the thermistor. I put the wire back on and tested the dishwasher. It now heats.

Over cooling in fresh food. Replaced faulty sensors and board. All tested good after repair.

The microwave does not heat and makes a loud buzzing sound. Pulled it down and found the diode tested bad. I replaced the diode and magnentron. I tested the microwave several times and its working great now.

There is something that spilled on the bottom. I advised the customer to run the 4 hour self clean. The sound the oven makes is normal.

The customer had both oven on at 500 when I arrived. After a few minutes the burners stopped working. I found the spark module wire had plastic wire nuts attached. I replaced the wire nuts with ceramic and now the burners are working.

"Vent connection under the corner cabinet had come disconnected from where it slides into a vent thats encased in concrete, coming up through the floor. I crawled in there and got vent reattached. Also used vent tape to make vent extra secure on back of washer."

Customer states that the machine is not balancing. Opened it up and discovered that the counterweight spring had come out of its place. Reinstalled spraying and then tested with a small load and a spin cycle. Machine seems to be working right now.

Found that range was losing power when I wiggled power cord. Found that power cord was shorting out and had slightly melted plug. Replaced power cord. Tested and power is secure and constant. Range is heating and working good.

Replaced main control board with new part and tested. Machine seems to be working perfectly now.

"Installed new lower spray, arm, instructed customer to try and call us if there are any other issues. Everything seems to be working great at this time."

"Unit is Kenmore Frigidaire made. Customer complaint not cooling found out. We were getting power to the compressor, but the compressor was not kicking on as bad start relay. Installed our truck stock relay. Once installed tested unit now unit is starting to cool.

"Stops heating after 10 minutes. Replaced bad coils. Vacuumed out dryer. Checked air flow outside. Its weak, 10 mph. I used my vent brush to clean the first 5 ft outside. Also found belt is brittle, let customer know, would need a flex gas line on dryer to be able to replace belt. I let them know that.

"Dishwasher has been occasionally leaking from front right corner, and door doesnt shut. Found the dishwasher needed to be leveled. It needed the rear leg retracted, and the left leg extended quite a bit. ST sent spring and door hinges but those are good. Door seals well and opens to 90 degrees. I adjusted legs and ran it, now door shuts well and no leaks."

"Has been squealing. Found a bad idler pully and roller. Replaced those. Cleaned roller shafts for other three rollers. Vacuumed out dryer. Runs nice and quiet now.

"Customer complaint is getting a I 20 code. Went through test mode had saved and I 20 error code and I 60 for a heater. Unit went through test mode just fine. The 20 code is a drain code. The drain is working great. Clean pressure sensor as best. I can reassembled tested unit heaters working. drains working and everything working properly.

Customer states that the DD error code has shown up during loads. This is a code for restriction in the ducting. Duct goes out through the roof of the house and I informed customer that we would not be able to clean it. Customer asked that we would reassemble the internal ducting to the dryer since it is side vented. Went ahead and reassembled it and secured everything in place for the customer.it seems to be running fine right now but customer will have to have an HVAC company come out to clean the ducting

CUSTOMER STATES THAT ITS CONTINUOUSLY FILLING. TURN ON THE WATER VALVE AND EVEN WITH THE DISHWASHER UNPLUGGED. IT STARTED UP RIGHT AWAY FILLING. WENT AHEAD AND REPLACED THE FILL VALVE WITH APART FROM TRUCK STOCK. TESTED IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING RIGHT NOW.

"Icemaker not making ice. There was a frayed wire going to it. I repaired the red wire which is now too short. The icemaker is integrated into a shelf in the freezer and when you slide that shelf back in, the wires are too short and get in the way of the rail and get pinched and pulled. Because of this, the repaired red wire pulled out of the connector.The display in the freezer section is now flashing with dimly lit LEDs due to the broken red wire connection at the connector. Customer had a plumber come out recently, and just confirmed with them once more that they had in fact hooked up the waterline to the freezer. When I spoke with Frigidaire tech-support and cycled the ice-maker, I could not get it to fill with water although it had mechanical movement. Tech-support indicated the only way to verify anything at this point is to pull this whole unit out and check whether the water is connected, or if it is frozen in the back.Freezer display is now displaying errors CC and EE alternately and the rest of the leds on that display are now flickering dimly all the time.We will have to speak with Frigidaire and see what they recommend for this situation.; saved tckt"

"Washer very loud throughout cycle. Disconnected belt from motor and transmission so I could test these components separately to isolate the noise. With belt off, motor is not making noise but the actuator is not properly engaging fully, causing noise as the teeth are not meshing properly.
