Customer says they will intermittently get E15 error and then will go away for 3-5 cycles then will happen again. E15 is water leak inside pan. I found that there is residue inside drip pan so water has been leaking. I pulled out dishwasher and ran cycle for 30 minutes and could not find any leaks. But i did find that inside dishwasher was full of suds and I did not add soap.That means that there is too much soap being used. Customer is on water softner and used the casecade Platinum which oversuds dishwasher. I added a bit of oil and cleaned out inside dishwasher of suds and recommended to use finish tabs. Dishwasher is working good.

"Ran full diagnostics and completed, no issues. I filled and rains dishwasher 5 times and every time dishwasher drains. Customer said it was intermittent. Filter is clean. Only thing i found was that there was no high loop on the drain hose. I added high loop and suggested that customer use as normal and see if it still has water on bottom of dishwasher when dishwasher shows clean. That means dishwasher ran full cycle and if there is still water inside then probably drain pump is intermittently failing."

I sucked all the water and feathers out. I tried to make sure it was clean. I hooked it all back up and tested. I did a rinse and spin and it drained good.

Customers complaint with the dryer is it he only reads 100? at the vent outside and its taking twice as long to dry clothes. Upon arrival inspector checked igniter and put it thermocouple in the dryer cavity. I watch seven flower cycles between 150?F and 103?F. I was here previously I dealt with service bulletin for a failing igniter and installed a new flame sensor and coils for good measure. I could find no issues I called Jay and spoke with Jay. According to the GE tech line this unit should run an average of 130?. Which is consistent with the temperatures Im seeing he recommended I watch some additional cycles to verify heat stays throughout. I watched 7 more cycles heat was consistent. The dryer is working as designed.

This is a 2010 model and Im not exactly sure if it needs all the same parts as the newer ones that have this problem, but I told the customer it would probably be between $200-500 to repair. Customer complains that frost builds up at the rear of the cabin especially on the right and left corners. Upon arrival and inspection I found the door seal and hinges looked perfect. I further inspected and found that the rear body instead of being flat and level with the rest of the door ceiling surface was rolled toward the back. When you close the door you could hear the air entering from the back of the unit through the failed seal because of an imperfection in the body on the rear of the unit. Please advise desired course of action. I do not believe a new seal door or hinges will fix this issue it has to do with the body and the top surface not being manufactured correctly. pictures attached.

Dryer is now heating great, but is getting to hot and I had to shut it down. Airflow on outside of house is only 8 mph and back of dryer is 25mph. With dryer vent disconnected, the heat is cycling perfectly between 200F and 130F. It looks like they used the flexible foil vent material inside the wall. I loaded the washer with towels and got them soaking wet. I put the washer on a high speed spin. I did not find a big problem today. I did notice every time the drain pump came on the drain hose was hitting the back panel. I zipped tied the hose together so it would stop hitting. If it continues it could be a major issue with the spider assembly developing cracks in it.

Customer complaint unit is leaking. Ran unit multiple times and couldnt get unit to leak. Double check the door gasket and couldnt find any tears or small pin holes. Pulled unit out none of the valves were leaking all looked good. Customer was getting suds error code. And noticed out the back vent evidence of water leaking. Customer says they fill up the detergent dispenser full. Recommend using only 2 tablespoons at first then go from there. Checked all hoses and drain pump was pumping good. Customer is going to watch for the leak and let us know after trying less soap.
