Customers concerned with the dishwasher is after they had a power outage it began working intermittently. It would work if they power cycled it for a while but it stopped altogether. Upon arrival and inspection I plugged in my Smart HQ diagnostic tool and found that the control board could not register whether the door was open or closed. Ill check for software updates and any additional failures and found none. I replaced the main control board and tested it and it began working instantly. I recommended a water monitor as there is raw particleboard floor underneath unit and leak would never be detected until it ruined the ceiling downstairs. Dryer is heating great and cycling between 200F and 130F with vent disconnected and with the vent connected its cycling between 210F and 120F. "Ran full diagnostics and completed, no issues. I filled and rains dishwasher 5 times and every time dishwasher drains. Customer said it was intermittent. Filter is clean. Only thing i found was that there was no high loop on the drain hose. I added high loop and suggested that customer use as normal and see if it still has water on bottom of dishwasher when dishwasher shows clean. That means dishwasher ran full cycle and if there is still water inside then probably drain pump is intermittently failing."

Customer says they will intermittently get E15 error and then will go away for 3-5 cycles then will happen again. E15 is water leak inside pan. I found that there is residue inside drip pan so water has been leaking. I pulled out dishwasher and ran cycle for 30 minutes and could not find any leaks. But i did find that inside dishwasher was full of suds and I did not add soap.That means that there is too much soap being used. Customer is on water softner and used the casecade Platinum which oversuds dishwasher. I added a bit of oil and cleaned out inside dishwasher of suds and recommended to use finish tabs. Dishwasher is working good.

This unit has the evaporator drain manufacturing defect that causes it to get too warm melt out then make ice for a while then freeze back up. There is no known fix for this defect. The user interface is missing a few digits on the display. Its still working and functioning fine but I quoted replacement anyways. This customer has a new leaf home appliance warranty and will be working with them to see if they cover."
