Customer complains that on Friday they could hear a noise coming from the freezer and found frost buildup. The same time they noticed the ice room where the icemaker lives inside the left fridge door was too warm and water dripped from the icemaker when they tried to dispense. I plugged in my Smart HQ and began to research and found that three days and one hour from time of service there was an event where the defroster heater ran for 20 minutes and the fresh food door was left open. I suspect extra moisture was to play as this is a Lakehouse and it was opened up at the time per the customer. When I arrived and checked I had a few water errors from the day it was hooked up and one thermistor error but thats all I found. I could find no issues and it all looked good. I left some recommendations about leaving doors open with the customer as well as keeping track of a few pieces of information in case there is a repeat offense.

"Customer complaint is, NO WATER TO IM. THEY CHANGED A PART, NOW CANT GET THE WATER TO STOP. Customer replaced the supply valve and then found the ice maker supply line was plugged at the top. He removed it and blew air into it with a air compressor and then when the would try to get water from the door it would fill the ice maker to. Inspected and tested. Everything was testing good in test mode. I turned the valve on and off a half dozen times and it was working great. I cycled the ice maker and it filled with water. Everything is testing good. Customer is going to use it and see what happens. I advised if they still have issues to replace the dual valve and possibly the ice maker."

Customers complaint with the dryer is it he only reads 100? at the vent outside and its taking twice as long to dry clothes. Upon arrival inspector checked igniter and put it thermocouple in the dryer cavity. I watch seven flower cycles between 150?F and 103?F. I was here previously I dealt with service bulletin for a failing igniter and installed a new flame sensor and coils for good measure. I could find no issues I called Jay and spoke with Jay. According to the GE tech line this unit should run an average of 130?. Which is consistent with the temperatures Im seeing he recommended I watch some additional cycles to verify heat stays throughout. I watched 7 more cycles heat was consistent. The dryer is working as designed.

I loaded the washer with towels and got them soaking wet. I put the washer on a high speed spin. I did not find a big problem today. I did notice every time the drain pump came on the drain hose was hitting the back panel. I zipped tied the hose together so it would stop hitting. If it continues it could be a major issue with the spider assembly developing cracks in it.

"Customer complaint is, NO HEAT, TUMBLES OK. Inspected and tested. Found the heating element was burnt out. Installed new heating element and tested. Dryer is now heating great, but is getting to hot and I had to shut it down. Airflow on outside of house is only 8 mph and back of dryer is 25mph. With dryer vent disconnected, the heat is cycling perfectly between 200F and 130F. It looks like they used the flexible foil vent material inside the wall. Customer complains that frost builds up at the rear of the cabin especially on the right and left corners. Upon arrival and inspection I found the door seal and hinges looked perfect. I further inspected and found that the rear body instead of being flat and level with the rest of the door ceiling surface was rolled toward the back. When you close the door you could hear the air entering from the back of the unit through the failed seal because of an imperfection in the body on the rear of the unit. Please advise desired course of action. I do not believe a new seal door or hinges will fix this issue it has to do with the body and the top surface not being manufactured correctly. pictures attached.

"When you plug it in, the commercial washer begins adding water, and continues to fill with water. I took out the pressure sensor hose and checked that, and there are no leaks. I blew on the pressure hose and the pressure sensor on the other end never clicks. And always stays at 22.7 ohms resistance. With the washer filling with water, it stays at 22.7 ohms resistance at the sensor. Told customer Im fairly certain it needs a new pressure sensor, but it could also be a bad main PCB. I tried looking up the part numbers but because its commercial (coin operated) I cant find the part numbers.
