"Iced up on bottom of freezer. Found a frozen drain line. Steamed all the ice out and steamed out the drain. Found no ice built up around the fan but fan was dead. After flicking the fan blade the motor slowly started running, but it was really loud. Has a bad fan motor. Customer has already made a number of fixes on this fridge and said other than steaming the drain they would not want to put more money into it. Cleaned everything out. Unit is operating properly besides the noise. All set.

I tried two rinse cycles and thought maybe the wash tub that it drains into would over fill and siphon into the washer, but that never happened. I ran 5 cycles, and it went all the way through each time. Lid lock seems good. Told customer to get a video of them next time this happens. Show them walking into room, show where the timer knob is, open lid and show washer full of water, then putting it on a spin and showing it drain out. "The resident turned in his DW and the lower, right corner of the machine arched or and made a loud pop noise. I removed the toe kick and the cover over the power chord and found that the wire nuts have worn away and allowed voltage to come in contact with the cover. There is a ground wire in place, but Ill have to reconnect the DW to power before I know if anything further is damaged. I removed the damaged portion of the powered supply cord and the damaged portion of the power harness to the dishwasher and installed new wire nuts to securely hold the two power sources together, plug the machine back in and tested to see if the motor was damaged and everything works fine it fills it drains and it washes. Its good to go."

Customer says it is taking 2 cycles to dry clothes in normal setting. Found that there was lint build up inside dryer that I cleaned out. Also the type of vent has mesh which blocks lint and causes poor air flow. I recommended that they remove the grid on the outside dryer vent and the flaps prevent critters.Outside vent is on 2nd floor.Tested and dryer is cycling heat normally. Recommended that timed dry be used to prevent mixed loads dropping time down if damp clothes dont hit the moisture sensor.Dryer is working good.
