Oven preheated to 350F and got to 390F but took about a half hour. I started preheating to 400F and temps started climbing, but slowly. I can see the flame underneath and it was lit the entire time. This is a single evap side by side. The tenant said it all of a sudden stopped cooling. When I arrived the fridge was unplugged. I plugged the fridge in and let it run. No heat was coming off the discharge line and the compressor is on and running. I tapped into the low side and the pressure was 55 psi. That pressure indicates a failed compressor. When you press power sometimes the user interface comes on and then shuts off. Sometimes it will stay in then all of s sudden it shuts off. The fridge was off and unplugged when I arrived. I tapped into the low side and the pressure was around 45 psi. The customer said the whole unit died a couple days. No heat was coming off the high side after a few minutes. The compressor is failing. I quoted for the compressor and labor. I replaced the compressor and filter. I pressure tested and flushed the system with nitrogen. I pulled down to a deep vacuum for about 15 minutes. The system got down to 115 microns. I recharged the system and watched the pressure. The low side was around 20 and dropping. The high side pressure was around 100 and slowly going up. I advised the customer to wait until tomorrow to put stuff back in and 24 hours to fill it back up.

"Customer complaint is, TEMPS ARE RISING IN THE FF SECTION. Customer said it was getting really hot on the outside on the right hand side. Customer had refrigerator unplugged and empty when I got here. Customer also said freezer wasnt quite as cold as it should be. I plugged refrigerator in and compressor and all fans are working. The condenser coils were plugged solid. I vacuumed of coils and ran freezer cooling test and after 20 minutes there was only frost on about 60-70 percent. Theres no errors. There was a software update available, so I installed it.

I plugged the Newfi tool in. It said the condenser fan is not working. I pulled the fridge out and found the condenser fan and the compressor are not working. The compressor is getting 120 volts but not working. The condenser fan is running but very slow. I tried a new relay and a hard start, the compressor starts up but it sounds terrible and then locks up. It will need the compressor kit and condenser fan motor. I gave the customer a quote. I put the whole unit in defrost and defrosted the ice maker compartment. I removed the ice maker and inspected the ice fill tube. I could not see the tip of the fill tube. I pushed the water line in until the top of the fill tube was adjusted correctly. That should help. No other issues found today.
