"The customer complained about smelling gas coming from the cooktop. I conducted a thorough inspection but did not find any issues or leaks. I tested the main lines for gas leaks using soap and also cleaned up the burners, ensuring everything was secure with no apparent issues.It is possible that the gas smell may have resulted from the pilot light not being in the right location or from turning on the gas before igniting the burners. I explained to the customer that if they pass the spark function for a few minutes without igniting the burners, gas might escape. I emphasized the importance of putting the pilot light in the correct location before turning on the gas to avoid gas leakage.I advised the customer to be careful in the future and to ensure proper ignition to prevent any gas release."

Inspected upper spray arm that looks like its good its connecting good ran unit and found that the water pressure sounded really low with the motor so I ran unit and it doesnt have much water pressure and isnt moving the top spray arms. Removed filter and then removed chopper cover. Once chopper cover was removed was able to find the chopper all gummed up. cleared it reassembled unit sounds a lot better.

Vacuumed unit down under 300 microns. Filled to factory recommendation. Let unit run while cleaning up. Unit is operating correctly

I found water in the bottom drip pan. I sucked the water out and then started the dishwasher. I let it run for 20 minutes. I let wash and drain. The dishwasher is not leaking at this time. I found the drain hose behind was kinked. I straighten the hose and pulled the rest of the slack through. The dishwasher drains really good.

"They couldnt cancel a bake cycle so the gas company red tagged it. The overlay on the control was ripped and the cancel button wasnt making good contact with button on board. Button on control board is worn down a little. I quoted for new overlay and control assembly but its 20 years old so they just want to get hopefully another year out of it. I used tape to reinforce overlay, on the back side of it, and added extra tape onto the button on the board. Now the buttons respond much better. Front right burner didnt ignite great. I cleaned terminal and now it sparks well and ignites great.

"Not doing a final drain and spin. I ran the washer and after 5 minutes it was full of detergent suds. I pulled out the detergent dispenser drawer and it was filled to the top with detergent. I explained to customer how the pressure sensor works, and how it will think the tub is full of water when its just full of suds. Told them to use a tablespoon of detergent in future, to cut way back on usage. I poured all the detergent out of the dispenser back into their laundry detergent container, then rinsed out the dispenser until no more suds. Then I put some olive oil in the washer and ran it for 10 minutes to get rid of the majority of the suds. Then put an afresh tablet in it after verifying that it will do a drain and spin. Told them to run it all the way through the cycle with the afresh."
