"The dryer drum was very hard to turn. I found the belt was not installed correctly. The idler pulley was the old style and the rollers were the old style. I quoted for the new rollers, idler and belt repair kit. I replaced the parts and vacuumed all the lint out the dryer and the duct. The dryer sounds good and air flow is good.

The evaporator fan was not working. I replaced the fan motor and grounded it. I tightened the fan blade so it wouldnt slide. It working good now.

"Front burners not igniting. Found the front left was disconnected from the wire to the ignitor. Tightened up that connection and cleaned burner, and it ignites great now, but the gas line to the burner assembly is kinked bad. Ignites but needs new gas line. Also, spent a half hour cleaning the burner for the front right. It sparks well now, but wasnt igniting. I found a broken gas line. Also, all the ignitor lines were chewed through. When the dryer starts the motor makes a noise and a few seconds later the motor shuts off. I can smell burning from the motor. After a couple minutes the motor clicks and the dryer can start again. It will run for another few seconds then shuts off. The more I try it more of the burn smell I can smell. I quoted for the motor assembly. The customer will pay by check. Unit leaking out front of freezer. Looks like the defrost drain plugged and frozen up. Pulled fridge out then removed dust shield to get to drain hose. Removed duck bell and water poured in. It was clogged. Installed part and now unit is working properly.

Customers handle slides out. Removed the two outer sets of burners to get access to the handle screws. Replaced handle after making sure the set screws were tight.

"Has been frosting over behind back evaporator cover. Customer unplugged fridge last Friday per our recommendation. I verified in test mode that the heater works. Found a small crack in the cabinet behind the cover that I sealed with sealant. Installed new drain kit, and replaced bad temp sensor. Set it to zero and 37.

The customer said the whole refrigerator stopped making ice and cooling very quickly. The refrigerator was unplugged and the water was off when I arrived. I pulled the unit out and plugged it back in. I took the low side and high side pressure. The low side with the compressor on was 55 psi and the high side was about the same. I unplugged the unit and the low side pressure did not change. I plugged it back in so the 3 way valve went back to home position. I replaced the compressor and filter drier. I added nitrogen until the pressure was up to 200 psi. I checked for leaks by listening and applying soap to all the joints. I found no leaks. I then purged the system and pulled a vacuum for 15 minutes. I updated the main board with the tool. I recharged the fridge with 4.7 ounces. I told the customer to give it 6-8 hours to cool and 24 hours before they pack it full again.

"They have a sealed system issue on this fridge. the coils are cool to the touch, but after 20 minutes not frosting over. Although water that was on it is freezing. Verified the defrost heater works. Fans work. Needs sealed system repair.

"Customer complaint is, REF BACK OF FRESH FOOD BACK WALL FROSTED UP, THEY HAVE UNPLUGGED TO DEFROST. Inspected and tested. Found the defrost sensor was bad and corroded at the connector. The heating element was broken. Today I replaced the heating element. The dryer is heating but it short cycles. I took a air flow test and the air flow is poor. I was good when I disconnected the duct and tried it again. I advised the customer to have the duct cleaned soon.

Taking a long time to heat. Found a bad bake ignitor. Replaced ignitor. Heats great now.

Found that the the burners were dirty and baking soda clogging vents and gas hole. I showed customer the problem and they will clean it.

"Customer complaint is, UNIT IS DEAD AGAIN. Inspected and tested. Fuse is blown again. Door switches test good, there's a little wear on the switch holder. Installed new choke kit and fuse. Tested and microwave is working great. Microwave is now fixed.

Ice maker waterline froze up and ice maker cycled hitting the frozen ice water fill tube and broke the ice tray. Needs new water valve and ice maker.I checked the water pressure to the fridge and was lower than it seemed it should be. The shut off is a quick connect puncture valve and I informed customer that needs to be replaced to have better water pressure.Looks like both these parts were changed out last time NE was out?I cant find these in stock. The customer said the freezer is cooling but the fresh food is warm. Right away I notice the freezer evaporator fan is not working. I took the freezer apart and I tested voltage to the fan. The fan is getting 12 volts dc. The evaporator fan needs to be replaced. The customer said the ice maker is dumping water in the ice tray. The ice maker was off but there were cubes in the mold. I turned it back on and it dumped the ice out. The ice maker seems ok for now. I gave the customer the price for the ice maker but for now they passed on it. Customer says will get E11 error but still completes cycle and seems that dishes are clean. I tested NTC and getting 11 ohms between 4-5 and 5-6 and that is within range per service manual. The complaint is the whole unit stopped cooling. First it was the freezer now its the whole thing. Temps today are at room temp. There is no frost on either evaporator. The compressor is running but no heat from it. I tapped into the low side and the pressure was minus 25 psi. The static pressure was 15. The high side pressure was around 60 psi. That indicates a leak. I added nitrogen to look for a leak. I got the pressure up to 209 psi. I inspected all the joint in the back. I used the gas sniffer and soap to look for leaks. I could hear nothing leaking and I found nothing from the evaporators. I was picking nothing up with the sniffer. I waited and watched the pressure drop. The pressure is dropping about 1 psi every 45 seconds. My evaluation is there is a leak internally in the sealed system. I advised the customer of the results and that there is things we can try but no guarantee since its a high side leak. The customer was prepared for the worse and will just buy a new fridge. They have had other issues in the past and would rather replace the fridge.

"Replaced bad drain pump last time i was here. Upon finishing, door lock just buzzed but didnt work. Customer said door lock worked fine before I worked on it. Did not charge for door lock, only the drain pump. Washes and locks and drains great now. ; pckd up 1 ER00436440 (Drain pump.)"

The bake and broil are not heating up. I verified that its not baking or broiling. I tested the voltage at the terminal block and its 240. After some testing I found sometimes I get 120 out the double line break relay and sometimes I dont. I found the double line break relay is shorting. I gave the customer the quote for replacing the relay. I replaced the relay and now its working good. The oven heated up no problem.

The customer was concerned with the vent in the dryer looking dark. I advised the customer thats where the heat comes out and its normal for it to discolor. I pulled the dryer and apart and cleaned the lint. I oiled the rollers. I was unable to clean the duct from the outside because its under a deck. I cleaned the duct from the inside. The airflow tested at the dryer is good.

"Found that bake igntier is bad and not glowing. Customer approved estimate. Replaced igniter, tested and oven preheated and is working good.

"The dishwasher is not drying dishes or draining. Upon arrival and inspection, I hooked up the smart HQ device, and the control board did not have the programming for its model and serial number. I reprogrammed it and hardcoded in the model and serial number. I ran the testing in the machine on boards, water circulates the water, heats the water and drained the water great. I started the cycle and the machine works as I expected to; drains first then fills and so on.

Oven not heating. Installed parts. Once all installed tested multiple times. All features working properly now.

"Today the dryer does not start. I took the dryer apart and found the ledger was bad and the belt came off the holder. I quoted for the repair and replaced the idler pulley. The dryer was venting hot air out the back. I found the duct was disconnected. I replaced the elbow.

"Dryer overheating and shutting off. Took apart bulkhead and cleaned out a ton of lint. Also tightened loose nut on blower wheel. Cleaned out a ton of lint behind back of drum, blocking those vents and dried up a couple cups of water in basin. Runs and heats great now, runs at 200 tops. It normally shut off after 30 seconds. Now it runs indefinitely and doesnt shut off."

The dryer makes a loud noise when it runs. I took the dryer apart and found the idler was stuck. I quoted for the repair then replaced the idler pulley assembly. I oiled the other rollers. It sounds good now. The dryer was pulled out when I arrived I hooked the duct back up and pushed it back unit.

"Not igniting very well. Installed an ignitor and the unit is working great now.

Found that the main board is shorted and not sending power out. Power is going to board and is making squealing sound. Xcell had shut off power in the neighborhood and since then dishwasher has not worked.Control board is needed. Customer will think about it and call back if they want to repair it.

"Fridge doesnt always set off the alarm when door is open. Explained to customer that the door has a magnet and if the light is off, it wont sound the alarm. If door is cracked open. Customer mentioned the cold control in bottom of fresh food section is stuck. I took things apart and got it loose again and it slides great now. They have been finding mineral deposits in their ice and water, even with new filters. Explained that filters only take out 10-12 ppm and they will need reverse osmosis to get the rest out. Ice cubes when set on full cubes comes out in shards, sometimes, explained that some cubes are stuck together so then they get broken up when going through the dispenser in the drawer.

"Dryer doesnt run. Took it apart and found a blown thermal fuse. Replaced fuse, vacuumed a lot of lint and cat hair out, runs great now after replacing the fuse but told customer they need to clean vent before using dryer. Otherwise itll blow again.

Replaced bad right hinge. Now it closes perfect. Works great now.

2 of the dryer drum baffles came off. I replaced the 2 baffles and added new screws with washers so they wont pull through the drum again.

"Not draining, glass was removed from the pump. The dishwasher is now fixed."

"Evaporator drain tube is frozen over. Needs heat probe kit. Customer approved estimate. Defrosted and added heat probe, tested and now drains to drip pan and no longer leaks into refrigerator. Refrigerator is cooling and working good.

"Found that the freezer was full of ice build up on bottom of freezer, causing door not to shut and creating frost build up all over inside of freezer. The evaporator drain was clogged and frozen over and leaked onto bottom of freezer. There was a lot of ice and frost build up. defrosted everything. Tested ice maker and it cycled and filled. I unclogged and replaced with drain kit for this issue so it wont happen again.

Found that the fresh food evaporator fan is locked up and not running which caused refrigerator to get warm. Customer approved estimate. Replaced evaporator fan motor and did software update. Tested and refrigerator is cooling and working good.

I repaired the washer parts. The washer worked great. I tested all major functions.

Not draining water. I found a blockage in the drain pump filter. I removed it and tested it. The washer is now fixed.

I replaced the leaking inlet valve and tested the dishwasher. It is now fixed.

Found that the water fill valve inside freezer for ice maker is frozen over and water would spray out the back of refrigerator onto floor. "The customer complaint is the fresh food and freezer is not joking temp. When I arrived today I found the unit was turned off. So both sections are at room temp. Another company was out and said the compressor was bad. That tech pulled the wires off the compressor and left it but did not tell the customer. I put the wires back in the compressor and started it back up. The compressor is running and all the fans are running. The compressor looks like it has been replaced before. There is a valve on the compressor and a filter dryer was installed with a valve. I put my gauges on the high and low side. The low side pressure was minus 10 psi and the hi side was 90 psi. Those pressures and from what the customer said it has a sealed system leak. The customer said its has not been cooling good for 4 years. I called the GE tech line for advise on what to replace, he said that if the sealed system has been worked on before they advise to not service the sealed system anymore. He said I will have to fill it with nitrogen and use soap to find a leak. He also said the evaporators have problems. Its my recommendation and per GE that the unit be replaced and not serviced. The customer also said its been leaking water in the freezer for years and the right door auto closer does not work. I will need 2 men on return and 5 hours. Parts that it would need. "Customer complaint is, THE TEMPS ARE WARM FRESH FOOD IS IN THE 40'S AND THE FREEZER IS BETWEEN 10 AND 20. Inspected and tested. Freezer is 12F and FF is 47F. Compressor and fans are running. I removed the evaporator cover and there's heavy frost on about 25 percent and then nothing on the rest. The sealed system has failed.

"Customer complaint is, ENTER TIME AND HIT START AND COUNTS DOWN OK, SOUNDS LIKE DOOR SWITCH. Inspected and tested. Found the top grill cover wasnt on all the way, causing the door to not shut all the way. I reinstalled cover and tested. Microwave is working great. Microwave is now fixed."

Found that the water line inside door dispenser came dislodged and was spraying inside dispenser rather than outside into a cup. I aligned water line and now water dispenses normally and no longer leaks. Ice maker also cycles and fill. Refrigerator is working good.

"Replaced mullion, tested and door opens/closes normally. Refrigerator is working good.

"Today I replaced the main rear board, the front UI board, the ice maker adapter, the ice fan, the freezer handle and the right door gasket. I advised the customer to wait and see if its better."

"37 in ff and 0 in freezer. Door flapper broken. Replaced door flap which also had broken wires. They've been getting some condensation, and it was coming from the door flap. Tightened the receiver the flap slides into, it was hanging down a little. Made sure doors were level, and theyre super close to perfect. Everything good now."

Installed drain pump from last diagnosis. Tested unit and its draining great and no loud noise. No leaks. Filled and drained multiple times. Unit is spinning at the right rpm in test mode.

Replaced bad door gasket. Runs great now with no leaks.
