On arrival customer states that machine is full of water and not draining. Tipped machine back and inspected drain pump. Found the hose that goes from the tub to the pump was clogged full of sediment. Took the drain filter cover off and vacuumed out all the sediment and had to agitate the tube to get it to all come out. Put the machine back down and made sure the drain was able to run. Tested the drain pump and everything works properly now.

The customers in wall microwave will spin the turntable occasionally, not constantly. They can turn it by hand and that will cause the turntable to move. The coupler looks to be whole. I move the front of the machine into my Allcart so that I could access the middle of the microwave bottom. I replaced the turntable motor and plugged the unit back in. The microwave turntable is rotating independently again, I tested by heating a cup of water twice. The turntable coupler did have a crack in it too, so I replaced it as well.

Electrolux Dryer Repair. Customer was in a bit of a rush to get out of the home so I tried to accommodate that as best I cloud. The steam water valve in the dryer had failed, leaking water all over into the dryer and on the floor. Customer did not really want to repair the steam water feature going into the dryer and just wanted to eliminate it to prevent this type of problem from ever happening again. I disconnected the waterline from the dryer, removed the waterline splitter that was simultaneously feeding the washer and dryer at the same time, and then just connected the washer up directly to the cold water supply line under the sink. The dryer is now completely disconnected from the water, which is what the customer wanted, and the washer is functioning, and there are no leaks and the dryer is heating.

The customers are hearing a short, buzzing noise coming from their refrigerator, every minute or so. I moved the refrigerator out and removed the mechanical room cover, heard the noise close to the condenser fan, two magnetic valves that are part of the sealed system are located beside the fan. The magnetic valve closest to the cover was the source of the noise, so I moved it counterclockwise to align the magnet and keep it from vibrating against its cover. Rolled the refrigerator back and listened for five minutes to verify that the noise is gone.

I removed the old diverter cover and motor. On my way in, I did find a bunch of paper that was in the diverter assembly and other water pathways that affect water pressure. Recommend using Affresh or Glisten to clean out the dishwasher monthly. Installed the new diverter motor and cover and tested the machine for leaks and function. Water is traveling to the middle and upper wash arms while continuing to flow out of the bottom wash arm without leaks or issues.

Customer advised the unit is doing the same thing as before/ it will not drain out will just fill up with water and agitate then get to end and not drain or spin. I tried spinning washer when I got here and the motor is just humming. I removed the drain pump from the washer and tried again and now its spinning. I put drain pump back on and now its working perfectly. I filled washer twice and on the second time, the motor was just humming when it was supposed to be agitating. I messed with the timer and it started agitating. I was able to get it to fail twice and both times messing with the timer caused it to start agitating. Looks like the timer is failing. Installed new timer and tested. Washer is working great and I cant get it to fail while testing. Washer is now fixed.

In my way in, I did find a bunch of paper that was in the diverter assembly and other water pathways that affect water pressure. Recommend using Affresh or Glisten to clean out the dishwasher monthly. Installed the new diverter motor and cover and tested the machine for leaks and function. Water is traveling to the middle and upper wash arms while continuing to flow out of the bottom wash arm without leaks or issues.

Maytag Dryer Repair. Clean out the dryer, clean the vent. Disassembled and cleaned the dryer found no issues with the rollers or the belt. Vacuumed out the unit, installed new vent pipe, elbow, and the clamps. Cleaned the vent. Checked the speed on the dryer 27mph at the dryer. Before the vent cleaning the vent was at 9. 5 mph after the cleaning it was at 22 mph.

Hotpoint Washer Repair. Customer said it stopped with water in it. Theres standing water in the washer and drain pump is just humming, but not draining. Frigidaire Refrigerator Repair. Upon arrival, saw big chunks of ice frozen to the back wall. It appears that the machine had failed to defrost properly one time and had gotten really thick. I built up around the evaporator fan. At this time I put the machine into a defrost mode and made sure that all of the defrost components were working properly defrosted the machine aggressively and made sure there was no leftover ice on the evaporator. LG Refrigerator Repair. The craft ice maker in the freezer was not ejecting the ice and continued to call for water. That created a sheet of ice in the collection bucket. No error codes and food is staying cold in all cavities. I replaced the craft ice maker and ran a harvest cycle, no leaks in the new IM and water stops flowing without dripping when the fill valve closes. Based on what I found and how the new ice maker operates, I didnt replace the valve assembly sent by Square trade, I will return the part. I suggest throwing out the first batch or two.
