Dryer has had moisture coming out of the start button. I found the internal vent was detached and there was a good deal of lint inside the dryer. Zero air flow coming out of the dryer vent since it was disconnected. I took apart dryer and cleaned up the vent. Used vent tape to get vent connection inside dryer extra secure. Cleaned out all lint. Used synthetic grease to grease up rear bearing. Running great now.

FREEZING UP. Customer said its freezing almost everything in the FF compartment. FF compartment is 30F and freezer is 1F. The compressor is extremely hot as well as the yoder loop. The condenser fan is running. I put refrigerator into test mode and all sensors passed. Damper is opening and closing. I removed the evaporator cover and theres just a really light coating of frost on the evaporator. I defrosted evaporator and after 20 minutes its completely frosted over. The condenser coils are completely plugged with hair and dust. Cleaned off coils. Refrigerator is testing good except the FF temperatures. Customer declined repairs.

Replaced FF evap cover, defrost sensor and installed drain kit, Cx stated no ice after last visit, during previous visit FzR evap cover was removed and ice was found in Icemaker fan motor causing noise. Suspect air duct for Im fan was not reinstalled properly causing poor cooling in ice box, added extra sealant to fan duct and reassembled air flow from FzR dealt in icebox, air doesnt seem to move quickly though. Recommended to Cx that if ice is not produced after 48 hours to unplug and manually defrost unit with doors open for 12 hours, replug in and wait another 48 hours for ice. If still no ice, generate recall for IM. Repaired.

There is a software update available, but said nothing about the issue that there having so customer declined me running the update. Refrigerator is testing good. Whirlpool Dishwasher Repair. Dryer has a metal on metal scraping sound while running. I disassembled dryer and found the drum is riding to far to the front and is rubbing on the front bulkhead. I called techline and talked to Nick and he had me check the back roller brackets to see if they are bent and they visibly look good. He advised on replacing front bulkhead because there was no other visible damage or failed part. Installed new front bulkhead and roller kit. Tested and dryer sounds great. Dryer is now fixed.

GE Dishwasher Repair. I removed the old water pressure sensor, it was full of material that was fooling it into thinking that the machine was full of water. Once the new part was in place, I filled, drained and let the wash cycle run three separate times. The dishwasher runs exactly like it should. After the third fill portion of the wash cycle, I opened the door to feel the temperature of the water, lukewarm at best. Dishwashers need to fill with water that is very hot, helps get dishes very clean, helps dishes dry completely and helps the machine break down food material so that it doesnt accumulate in various spots (I.e. drain line, pressure sensors). Theres only 2 places water can go when it defrosts (the drain, and the left corner where the lines come through). I dumped water down the drain and its draining and not leaking. I dried out the corner around the lines were it comes through the floor and sealed it up with silicone. Freezer is now fixed.

Maytag bravos washer repair. Complaint is that it doesnt drain out the water. I put in test mode and no significant errors. Its spins and drains and fills in test mode. Lid lock works too. If you turn off the washer when water is in it, it drains all the water out. The rotor looks good, and its tight. The washer sounds good when it spins. Wash tub doesnt back up so water isnt back flowing into the washer after it drains. Ended up taking off water inlet hoses and found mineral deposit built up in the filters. Cleaned out the filters, rinsed them out. Now I ran it on a 24 minute rinse and spin and it filled and spun out and drained great.

I removed the existing power control board from the bottom of the dishwasher. I replaced the board and restored power to the machine and started a wash cycle, the wash motor, diverter motor, drain pump, heater are all online as the wash cycle progresses to completion. The heater does draw 800 watts when wet, a weak it defective circuit breaker could trip if there are other/smaller appliances running on that same circuit.

The customers dishwasher will not power up, will not do anything.I was able to return power to the main power control board by securing the power supply to the power provided by the house. I started an Express wash cycle, the DW drained the existing water, filled with hot water and started washing. I canceled the cycle and the drain pump kicked in again. The body of the DW is warped, cannot be repaired without replacing the machine. The door closes now that I have adjusted the body to give the door a clean path into the body of the machine.
