809069207 fan motor Upon arrival, customer states that machine has had no issues cooling, but makes a high-pitched squealing sound sometimes. Put the machine into diagnostic mode to isolate the source of the sound and found it to not be the compressor button that the evaporator fan. Opened it up and discovered that one of the sound cancellation rubber boots on either end of the fan was installed backwards possibly reinstalled and put it all back together and did not hear the sound any longer. If the sound comes back, please order the fan motor. Complete

Removed evap cover and found excess ice formation on top of evap near fan and evap temp sensor detached from evap, wire for evap sensor too short to reach evap. Called tech support, confirmed ok to lengthen wire to allow sensor to be placed in proper position. Soldered and heat shrinked wires to sensor and clipped in proper location. Reassembled unit and verified evap sensor reading temps. Instructed Cx to wait 48 hours for ice production.

Upon arrival opened up the icemaker section in the fresh food left door. Discovered ice was forming on the bottom right corner of this section, took apart the icemaker and discovered the filter was covered with mineral deposits, causing it to spray over the funnel. Cleared off the mineral deposits and reassembled the icemaker. The should prevent any issues happening in the future.

The customers are concerned that their refrigerator sounds loud. The compressor is humming, typical for ambient temperature. The evaporator fan sounds normal. The condenser fan sounds normal. The compressor humming as quiet as a mouse. The freezer and fresh food door gaskets are making complete contact against the cabinet, no signs of warm air leakage. The refrigerator back was pushed against the wall and left side was hugging the cabinets/countertops. The fresh food temp was set to 34 and freezer at -3 on arrival, I recommended adjusting both compartments to 37 and 0. No defrost problems found.No malfunctioning parts or repairs necessary at this time.

So it is possible that too much suds overflowed into the drip pan causing the error to trigger. I recovered the R600 refrigerant from the sealed system and cut out the defective compressor. I flushed the lines with nitrogen to inspect for leaks and to move the remaining refrigerant out of the system. I brazed in a new compressor with low side service valve access a new filter drier(dye). Once everything was in, I pulled a deep vacuum, checked to verify vacuum pressure held and charged the system with 57 grams of R600 refrigerant. Plugged the refrigerator in Ave the compressor started working its way down into vacuum on the low side, sitting at 35 on the high side. The machine was getting cold in the freezer but it will have to run overnight before its down to temp in both cabinets.

Customer stated the unit was not cooling. Both compartments were very warm. Removed the freezer door and the back cover the unit had a decent frost pattern. Customer informed me that a few weeks ago he did the same thing and the unit was full of ice in the top left corner he defrosted the unit letting it thaw for a day. The compressor and fan was not running when I got there unplugged and plugged the unit in and it started and ran fine. The it acts like a board issue, this is the second refrigerator that the customer has had the first one that was identical to this one , the unit was replaced with this one that is not working correctly. Found the unit was a manufactured by Daewoo, could not find any parts available for the unit. The customer suspects that is why the first unit they had could not get repaired and it was replaced. Customer is going to replace the unit.

The customer is experiencing a knocking noise when his washing machine is in spin cycle. I removed the agitator and worked my way to the drive bell and seal, the bolts that secure the inner tub and lip seal and hub are nice and tight, in place. No water leaks found.The lower bearing is showing signs of wear, I tried to tighten the inch and a half nut on the bottom of the lower bearing but it continues to make a repetitive knocking sound.
