The owner said there was issue with the freezer door seal and it does not make ice. I found the ice but was half full of ice and the ice maker was turned off on the display panel. I turned the ice maker back on. There is ice and frost all over the door. The freezer door does not seal tight. I found the bottom of the freezer door gasket was pulled away. I pushed it back into the groove and cleaned the door gasket. I applied silicone grease on the gasket and raised the front feet so the door closes better. I advised the customer its normal for the door to pop as long as it shuts. I also heated up the gasket and stretched it.

"Customer complaint is, CUST ADVISED AWEFUL NOISE WHEN RUNNING. They said its loud when they start it. Customer said it died yesterday and they couldnt get it to restart. I started dryer and the motor is squealing and it barely started. I tried starting it a few times and the motor squeals every time and barely starts. Heat is cycling perfectly between 215F and 115F. After about 10 minutes of running, the motor got hot and died. The motor is failing. Needs new motor and blower wheel.

The customer had some rubber blocks for leveling a washer. I raised the front and put the blocks under the front wheels so the fridge is more level now.

Airflow on outside of house is only 17mph. I removed vent from back of dryer and airflow is 40mph and heat is now good with vent disconnected. The vent that goes through the wall to the outside is messed up and not sealing well. I advised customer to have the vent replaced through the wall and all the way to the dryer. After reattaching everything, heat is cycling between 235F and 120F on high heat and airflow on outside of house is 20mph. I advised customer to not use dryer above low heat until they get the vent replaced."

Customer approved to clean it but when i pulled off dryer vent cover outside I found that it runs underneath porch with no access to vent and it is the plastic flexible vent. I informed customer that its not to code and is prone to rip and if i rip it i have no way to fix it since its sealed from underneath and a floor above it.I informed them to call dryer vent company to make it right. Customer will do that. Dryer itself is heating and working good and when vent is cleaned/fixed dryer will work good.

"Customer complaint is, STARTED BY ITSELF AND WATER STAYING IN GASKET. From what the customer was explaining, it sounds like the drain pump was running continuously until he unplugged it. I get a stored F3E1 error, which is a water level system error. I removed the airtrap assembly on the back of the washer and it was clear. Also removed the drain filter and it was clean. Ran washer through quick diagnostics and everything worked great and no errors. I installed new pressure sensor and started a quick cycle and about 2 minutes in gave me a F3E1 error and started running the drain pump continuously. Quoted customer $560. to install new board, but Im going to bring a pressure sensor hose with me and try that first. Customer approved repairs. Washer not spinning out clothing and leaks. Removed front of unit looked at the flashing light code on washer. Was giving a 1 flash long wait which says replace motor. Tested unit and light went normal operation and started to work. It seamed to be slower then normal. Filled unit with water let it run for a bit and no leaks. Drained unit and no leaks. Unit drained quickly also. Light on control board is back to flashing error for bad motor. Let customer know only thing Im getting is a error for a bad motor but everything else is running properly. Quoted for motor. They are going to get a new unit

"Customer complaint is, ELECTRIC DRYER STOPPED. This is a gas dryer. Inspected and tested. Started dryer on high heat and it spiked to 280F before I shut it off. I removed the vent on the back of the dryer and now its cycling between 175F and 110F. The vent is the problem. It vents out the roof. I advised customer to not use dryer until they have the vent cleaned."

Found that there is power to the control board but also found that the door was not latching closed. Found that the door latch was already stuck in the closed position which made the control panel not responsive because the door was closed. I reset door latch and now door latches closed and when door is opened the panel lights up and is responsive. Dishwasher is working good.

The customer complaint is the washer does not wring all the water out on heavy loads. It works ok on smaller loads but not when they are heavy. I tipped the washer back and found the belt had oil on it. Its not a lot of oil but enough to cause the belt to slip. I cleaned up the oil and replaced the belt. I ran a cycle empty then spin and its working good.

The customer said she ran 2 loads and it worked fine. The 3rd time it stopped and gave the e6. I started the washer on a normal cycle and it did the same thing as last time. I unplugged the washer and tipped it back then replaced the shifter motor. I plugged it back in and started a normal cycle again. The washer sensed them filled and is now washing. I ran a spin cycle and thats working good to.The main board and shifter motor have been replaced. Unit is working good.

Customer has been concerned about a low rumbling sound it has been making when freezer compressor run. Checked both the ff and fz compressors and fans. All check out good and run well. Unit is also level. They said if its not level it could potentially wobble when the compressor runs at a high rpm. Everything checks out good though. Took it out of test mode and it was in defrost when I left. To put in test mode you hold down the power and alarm buttons on freezer side. P1 runs the ff compressor and fan. P2 runs fz compressor and fan. Pressing alarm and power until it gets one step past P9 takes it out of test mode.

I ran the ice maker harvest and the ice maker is making a big pop sound. I looked at it and the ice mold is bent and it gets stuck. I pulled the fridge out and inspected the back wall. There is no ice building up on the back and no frost or ice under the ice maker compartment. I ran the water fill test and the ice maker fills up good. I needs a new ice maker. "The dryer powers on but when you press start the dryer does not start. I took the dryer apart and tested the blower and thermal fuse. The thermal fuse was bad. I replaced the fuse and reassembled the dryer to test. The dryer now runs and heats. I went outside and tested the airflow, the bottom vent flap does not open and the airflow tested 15 mph. I took pictures and added them. I told the customer the airflow was not good and that can be causing the fuse to fail. The customer said he blew out the duct last time. I advised that the way the dryer is hooked up can be the problem. I advised the dryer duct is to far and the duct box behind the dryer can reduce the airflow. The customer said he would try and fix it.

The customer says their carbon monoxide alarm went off when the oven was being used. They had the gas company out and they red tag the range and shut the gas off. I opened the oven door and found on the bottom they have a silicone mat inside and the mat is covering the vent holes in the oven bottom. I removed the silicone mat and advised them to never use that. I turned the gas back on and then removed the oven bottom. I started the bake and watched the flame around the burner. The flames look good and blue. The flame is not lifting off the bake burner tube. I put it all back together and tested the oven at 350. The oven heat to 350 with no issues. I advised the customer to contact the gas company to check the CO level again if they want.

"20.6 in lower right freezer even though it was set to be a freezer. 4 in lower left freezer. 39 in fresh food. Set to negative 5 in freezer. Tested the sensors and sensors read perfectly. Customer already had the main PCB changed on this fridge. In service mode we saw that the 3 way valve was set to fresh food, so it was treating the freezer on the bottom right as a fresh food section. programmed it to switch and have it as a fz section. We then set both freezers to zero and fresh food to 39.

The customer said the fresh food section was freezing food at the bottom and food at the top was not as cold. I found frost building up on top of the panel in the freezer and there was some frost on the ceiling in the freezer. The freezer door is not sealing tight on the top right corner of the door. I completely defrosted the top of the evaporator and removed ice chunks. I warmed up seal and stretched it out so the freezer door seals better.
