Runs really loud. Had a bad gearcase. Had to break rusted wash plate shaft from old gearcase. Replaced both. Runs nice and quiet now.

"Last time I was here it was 2 mph airflow outside and 21 mph behind dryer. I told them to clean their vent. Got a redo because it takes three cycles to dry our clothes.I checked airflow outside and it was zero now. Behind dryer its 26 mph now. I Put it on timed dry and it shot up to 236 about 5 seconds after the coils clicked. Disconnected the vent from behind the dryer and scooped out 6 big handfuls of lint. Vent is still totally clogged. Upon arrival I found this time that the drain pump is also leaking. 479595 is the drain pump part number.

Refrigerator not running. Totally dead except for lights on. Replaced bad jazz board. Immediately the evaporator fan started running. Compressor kicked on after. Runs great now.; used 1 WPW10503278 (JAZZ BOARD) from stock

"Found that ice maker was not mounted straight and when filling would spill over front and leak. Dosent appear that there is anything wrong with ice maker. I adjusted ice maker, tested and it cycles and fills and no leaks.If problem continues they will call back. i quoted them for ice maker 5303918344 $282."

Put kit in that the customer was quoted. Everything is now working. Went in test mode no error codes came up. Let customer know it will take at least 24 hours to back to temps

Unit wasnt dispensing water found that there was a little ice build up in the line and hard water build up. Defrosted with the steamer and installed GE heater kit and now unit is dispensing water. ; used 1 WR49X10173 (WATER DISP HEATER KIT) from stock

Unit wasnt getting power. Found that even with the breaker tripped and not trip bill was not getting power to the dishwasher. Removed terminal block where it was hardwired together and found it was burnt. Even though I could rewire it Im not getting power. Needs an electrician ; states that autho needed

"Unit was leaking out the front right away. Noticed the bottom door seal was broken also the side guards where coming apart from age also the gasket was cracking. Replaced all seals and now the unit isnt leaking and working properly ; used 1 154701001 (SPLASH SHIELD KITS), 1 154827601 (TUB GASKET), and 1 809006501 (THE INFAMOUS BOTTOM WIPER) from stock"

Drain pump was humming but wasnt pumping. Disassembled sump to see if anything was jammed and was clear and was clean in unit. . Ordered new drain pump; ordrd 1 A00126401 (Drain pump)

Customer said it was leaking once replacing the water filter down stairs. Ran a bunch of cups of water and ran the ice maker and couldnt get any water to leak. Advised customer next time he replace the water filter to pull the unit from the wall and see if he sees it leak any.

"Customer complaint is, REFRIGERATOR TEMPERATURE SWINGS WIDELY, FROM LOW 30S TO HIGH 40S AND BACK AGAIN. Inspected and tested. Temperatures were normal when I got here. Found the defrost drain was plugged and frozen solid and ice was on the floor of the freezer. Defrosted freezer and cleaned out drain. The evaporator was only frosted over about 60-70 percent after 20 minutes. Everything else tested good."

I cant get the vent cover off to remove the control panel to test the blower fan because the cabinets are out to far. Microwave is a convection microwave. Customer is going to think about what he wants to do with it. If he wants us to repair it, I will need to go back with a second guy or they will need to remove it themselves so I can diagnose it."

Unit was unplugged on arrival put ice maker kit in. Let customer know it will take a while for the fridge to get back to regular temp.

Cooktop and two burners broken. Replaced all three parts. All works great now.

Found that the dryer had fabric softener sheet stuck in blower wheel and blocking fins and lint build up on that causing dryer to shake loudly. Cleaned out lint inside dryer. Tested and dryer now is heating and tumbling quietly. Dryer is working good.

The dishwasher would fill with water but the wash motor did not come on. I tapped the motor and got to start running. I put into a diagnostic test and let run the cycles. I cleaned the screens. Its working good now.

Unit would no matter what once you try to start it would have all the lights flash. Also on the newfi saying error to CSM control board. And if wont clear replace the control board. Also noted about the heater if not working could be part of the problem but under test heater was getting hot. order control board WD21X25992; states that autho needed

Customers complaint is that they can hear a high-pitched noise coming from between the cabinet and the refrigerator. Upon arrival and inspection I was able to hear a faint noise from the compressor and customer identified it as the sound. Overtime this sound changed. I tested all the fans and all systems walked through it and only when the coolant gases pressurize does this noise occur. I explain to the customer how the system works and that she is hearing the noise of the compressor working and doing its job. I looked at her freezer door handle and found that had a broken tab on the retainer clips. I replaced it with some that have been supplied by GE previously. The freezer door was heavy because the freezer was loaded completely. I advise the customer to use a lubricant on the door glides and after installing the new clip I was able to open and close with one hand grabbing the center of the handle. The refrigerator is working as designed. The noise is not an alarming noise or a noise caused by a failure but simply just the workings of the machine. The only way this noise will go away is if the compressor is replaced.

"Dryer giving HE error again. Ran it, only 5-9 mph airflow out the back of the dryer. Gave HE error after 10 minutes. I took the whole dryer apart and its all clean. Cleaned a little lint off blower wheel but nothing major. Cleaned lint out of lint screen and also washed off lint screen. Ran for 25 minutes, no HE error. 25 mph of airflow out the back with the screen cleaned. Temps leaking at 180 now, before it was 205. If it gives the error again today, please order a control board."

"Customers supplied a few videos and has had many issues with intermittent error codes and dishwasher failure. Customer has had two errors in the last two weeks where is she get an LC recorded in the rinse section of the cycle. Today I had her run a customary cycle which ran for over 2 1/2 hours before the control board went dead and unit would not respond. It did this during the rinse cycle and I suspect overtime after the control board cools down it will give the same error as she has experienced in the past. I checked power at the plug at the power box and the control board and found power was still supplied but I could hear a loud hissing or boiling noise from the control board. I suspect one or more of the capacitors has failed internally. This customer is moving and taking her appliances with her she plans to be out of the home in three weeks. This unit would need control Board part number DD82-01337A. We have chased a few issues one of which Im certain will be fixed with the control board, the internal leak I have yet to see anything outside of mineral staining and residual water underneath the circulation pump DD82-01314A. ; saved tckt , states that autho needed"

"Tested dryer with vent disconnected and dryer is cycling heat good. But found that dryer is inside cubby and dryer vent appears to be broke/disconnected inside wall and clogged as when I lined up vent, dryer heat spiked and could feel hot air blowing inside house. I replaced the timer and made sure its working.

When I arrived the customer had the 2 lower spray arm metal guards sitting on the counter. He said he found them in the dishwasher a while ago before I came out the first time and forgot to tell me about them. I found today the heating element had popped out of the brackets and melted the bottom of the spray arm. It will need a lower spray arm. Please send the spray arm to the customer. He can replace it. I replaced the timer and let run . The timer does advance.

I verified the operation. I tested the heater on the heat pump and it was bad. I replaced the heat pump. I ran it and its working good no leaks and heats.

There was a error code for the lid not locking. I found a service bulletin for this issue. I had to push down on the center of the top. Now the lid will lock and it will drain and spin. I cleared the error codes.

Found that power is going to board but when pushing UI buttons nothing responds. Control board is bad. Possible that UI is bad well but pretty sure its control board. Both parts show not in stock. Used control from last diagnosis now unit is running through complete cycle

Unit was giving a error code for the main board fail. This happened after a transformer blow on 4/3/22. Everything else on the unit is in great condition a good chance that the transformer blowing caused this issue especially because everything was running just fine before. After replacing board went through test mode and check error codes everything is running great and no error codes

Unit wouldnt go in to spin cycle would give a LE error code. Found in diagnostic that the hall sensor was bad. Replaced sensor and everything was running properly now. Did clean out the drain trap. Customer has never done it and asked if I would do it. There was a small build up of dog hair but the drain pump still was pumping good. No additional charge for cleaning of trap. ; used 1 6501KW2002A (HALL SENSOR) from stock

Unit was tipping forward. One of the brackets where tweaked and came loose and the other one customer didnt have. Installed the one I had to make it so it doesnt tip over and leveled the unit also. Now unit doesnt tip over ; (serial indicated as 'NotAvailable' so system created UIS w/pseudo #)

Customers complaint is Fresh food section is warm. Removed the cover on the damper and found it was closed. Removed the damper and noticed the fan was operating good. Put unit in diagnostic mode and found the damper wouldnt open or close. Replaced the damper went through test mode and everything is working properly

The soap dispenser opens every time for me with nothing in it. I advised the customer to use power and not the tablet. The display screen blinks in and out. The middle and upper spray arm are full of stuff and thats keeping them from spinning. Im sure what will be covered. Please see whats covered and contact the owner for approval. "Customer said making loud buzzing noise. Found that the evaporator is frosted over but when i go into newfi and test the heater it comes on and starting to defrost. When i check history of defrost cycle it shows that there is 4-5 day gap before the heater will turn on for 25 minutes. Then will be off for 2 days then on again for 25 minutes. So there is not a constant cycle that Im seeing which then caused the evaporator to ice over and evaporator fan blade hitting ice build up being noisy.Since all functions appear to be working when in newfi test mode Im guessing the control board is bad, not automatically going into defrost mode? Checked system using newfi and no errors. I checked sensor fill to what machine says and it matched with the amount of water inside washer. I recommended using high or max fill and explained that auto will use the least amount of water. I showed customer in the documentation that it states to use deep fill to address low fill levels.Washer is working good as Im here. There two washers and i compared fill levels on same settings on both washer and was equal. I showed that to customer that washer is working good.

No power being sent to motor. All fuses and high limit ohm out good. Power goes to board but never hear relay click on board. Also door switch plastic tab broke and not secure. Needs control board dc92-01626b; door switch dc64-00828b; saved tckt

"Was banging loud during a spin cycle. Took off back panel, top panel, checked tub, nothing loose. Called GE tech support. They said to find whats making noise and replace the part. I did find that the back panel was loose. Top screw stripped out. Replaced with a bigger screw. Also put a little felt padding between back metal panel edges so its not metal on metal. Put 5 towels in there and ran on a regular cycle and then a spin cycle. 07687745 case number for GE. Also found that the back left corner of the lid isnt totally tight, but no way to tighten it. If water lines are underneath the lid touching it, in spin cycle then the vibration of the lines causes the lid to rattle. Showed customer they will want to put a little piece of white duct tape on back left side to make sure lid is nice and secure to casing. Also showed how depending on where the hoses are they can vibrate against the case."

The refrigerator stops and starts every 5 to 10 seconds. Without the fan continually running by the condenser its really hot underneath. There is a service bulletin for the main control board so I installed the new one and its running great now.

Customer complains that the convection fan is loud and noisy when he leaned on the door to remove the fan cover it bent and now wont close properly. This unit needs a convection fan and the door assembly as it is bent. I quoted via blue book in the customer will reach out but us know if he wants to move forward.

"Customers complain is ice cream and ice are refreezing in the freezer as well as she is getting a frost buildup on the roof of the freezer. I believe this fridge is being affected by service bulletin REF11-20. I defrosted the evaporator and watched the frost pattern for 20 minutes and it was unable to freeze up the evaporator completely 1/4 remained wet without frost. This unit has a sealed system issue and lacks the refrigerant to maintain temperatures. Customer noted that the refrigerator seems to runs for long periods of time, more than she expected. Please send a EPA certified technician for R600a."

I replaced the failed ignitors and control board. I tested both bake and broil. The range is working as designed

"Motor will run and then stop. Control board was sending voltage to the motor, and it was running. Then the motor stopped. I meant to check and see if it was still getting voltage when it stopped.. I let facility contact know that. If they want us to go ahead with the repair, I would want to bring a board and motor with me.
