Notes from real Omega Force service calls: the appliance, the problem we found and how we fixed it.

Customer states oven trips breaker immediately when starting a bake in the lower oven. Inspected oven igniter and found it to have failed. Replaced with a part from van and tested. Ignites great now and doesnt trip breaker. Heats well.
Model PRGR34550SS
The oven was making noises, and I noticed the igniter had 1 amp, which indicated it was out of spec. After replacing it with a new igniter, the unit heats up fast and works great.

The dryer does not heat at all. I pulled the dryer out and removed the back panel. I tested the thermal fuse and found its bad. I replaced the fuse and tested the dryer. The dryer is heating good and the air flow is good. I took the lint screen out and cleaned it up good.

The customer complained that the oven would not turn on at all. I informed them that the igniter had failed and, in order to resolve the issue, a new igniter was needed. After installing the new one, the oven turned on fast and heated up properly.

Knob was binding up and hard to turn. Disassembled knob and put oil on spindle, put it back together and started working in the oil. Knob seemed much better after this.

Not heating, and giving F11 error. I cleared the error, and found a bad bake igniter. Replaced the ignitor, ignites great now and heats great. Took temperatures and it heated up quickly.

60 in fresh food and 0 in freezer. Replaced a bad damper assembly and thermistor. Also steamed out ice that had built up on vent going into fresh food section. Cold air blowing into ff section now. Told customer 24 hours.

Unit not filling with water.Cycled and tested found the unit was having hard time pumping the water out. Removed and bypassed the air gap. Unit pumped fine

Customer states its intermittent making ice upon arrival the ice bin was full, pulled out icemaker and inspected it fount that the fill funnel was frozen full, leaking, and that the bailing arm was loose and floppy. Decided to replace icemaker for customer. Installed new unit and tested it, icemaker cycled properly and everything seems fine now.
