Washer not draining. Replaced broken drain pump. Drains awesome now. Ran it twice after the repair.

"The customer said the washer basket is lower than normal and the washer takes 3 cycles to wash the clothes. I started a cycle and the wash plate barely moves in the agitate cycle. I removed the wash plate pulsator and found the center bushing thats pressed into the pulsator is stripped and fell out. The washer is hanging down like it should, nothing looks broken. Im ordering the pulsator plate. ; ordrd 1 AGZ72909711 (Pulsator)"

The customer said the front 2 burners take longer than to heat the pans than they use to. The oven gets to temp and then does not maintain temp. I pulled the range out on my floor shield and checked the voltage at the back of the range terminal block. Across the red and black wires I got 242 volts. I did find the ground wire was attached to the neutral wire so I moved the ground wire to the ground strap on the range. I put my weighted thermal couple in the middle of the range on the center rack. I set the oven to 350. The oven preheat and got to 380 before it cycled the heat off. I then let cycle on and off and I recorded the high and low temps. I took 3 highs and 3 low temps then got the average. I put a pot with water on all the burners. Today the burners are working and heating up the water. While I has the front 2 burners on and could hear a little cracking from the 2 dual burners. The 2 front burner switches are slowly failing and starting to short. I would like to order and replace the 2 front switches. 333348333355332350Average was 342I raised the oven temp up 10 degrees. "Customers concern was the washer started making strange sound, and then smelled like it was burning. When they plug it back in it makes a weird, clicking noise. Upon arrival and inspection, I found the washer when plugged in would energize, then drop voltage to the drain pump. It was making a slight clicking noise. I tried tapping on the relays on the pump, but it made no difference. Please get authorization for a main control board (W11502823) and a drain pump (WPW10276397) ; saved tckt"

Customers complaint RIGHT SIDE OVEN IS NOT IGNITING PROPERLY AND SMELLS OF GAS. One of the igniters was weak and wasnt lighting so the gas would come on prematurely and gas would build up. Quoted customer to replace igniter. We replaced both igniters and now unit is working properly. One other thing is the right side griddle isnt working. Found it was the thermostat was bad. Has no response. Will need new thermostat but dont see any available. I said we could take a look and see if something would cross over and work and let her know. Unit wasnt making ice looks like it cycled one batch. No errors present. Goes through test mode fine. Nov way to test the ffull bucket indicator laser with a iPhone. "The customer had the microwave on the counter when I arrived. The microwave would not heat and the turntable would not spin. I found the top switch was broken. I quoted and replaced both interlock switches. A clip for the top switch broke but I was able to fix it by putting a zip tie around the switch and holder. The microwave is working good now. "Customer complaint is, TAKES ALONG TIME TO START AND LEAKING. Inspected and tested. Found water is leaking from the solenoid seal causing it to not drain. Needs a new solenoid kit and seal. Installed new solenoid kit, push on nut, seal and tested. Now its leaking from the sump underneath. This dishwasher is really old and the plastic underneath is brittle. Im going to try replacing the sump inlet assembly and if that doesnt fix it, we would have to completely rebuild the sump and pump assemblys underneath and thats going to be over our limit. Customer is replacing the old copper supply line with a flexible one."

"Customer complaint is, NOT COOLING. REFRIGERATOR IS ONLY 50 DEGREES AND EVERYTHING IN THE FREEZER IS THAWED. Inspected and tested. Both freezer and FF compartments are 57F. Fans and compressor are not running. I put refrigerator into test mode and thermistors tested good, the fans are all working. I tried the compressor test and everything worked perfectly. I power cycled refrigerator and now the compressor and fans are running and its starting to cool. Everything is testing good. Im going to follow up with customer this afternoon. I followed up with the customer at 4pm and they said temperatures seemed to be back to normal. Dana can you you follow up with this customer on Monday and confirm that refrigerator is still cooling. The customer said that dishwasher will get loud at times during the wash and drain cycles. I ran the dishwasher and the wash cycle sounds good. The customer said that when it drained thats when it made the noise. The drain pump sounded normal operation and drains good. I removed the drain pump and found a toothpick was down inside the drain pump housing. I removed the toothpick. I advised the customer the sound from the drain pump is normal.

"Poor drying quality, blocked vent. Noise is due to a rattle it is a stacked unit. Temps were 250s and it was short cycling. They will get the vent cleaned."

The complaint is the main display is totally dead. The burners still work. This is a electric range. I pulled the range out and inspected the main board. Im getting 120 volts into the main board. I tested to see if I get any dc voltage out of the main board . From the plug that looks like it supplies power to the display I do get 12 volts and 5 volts dc out of the main pcb board. "The customer complaint was the timer does not work. When she sets a cycle and presses start it will not start, she has to fiddle with the timer knob to make it start. I tried the timer and I could tell the knob was slipping. I removed the knob and found it was cracked in the center so the metal sleeve was slipping on the metal timer shaft. I swapped the knob with the knob for the wrinkle care. The customer said she never uses that knob so it was ok. "This is a counter top microwave. Its not covered, its making a reading noise due to an installation issue."

The customer said the oven was running hot and cooling uneven. I removed the oven bottom and cover. I started the bake and it started right up in about 15 seconds. The flame was a little large and the base of the flame was lifting on the burner tube. I adjusted the air shutter so the flame is more relaxed and tight against the burner. I tested the oven temp and found it was over heating by 50 degrees. A new thermostat is not longer available. I tried to adjust the knob but I could not adjust down 50. I set the oven 50 degrees cooler and then it was heating to the desired temp. The customer is the only one that uses the oven so she was ok with that.

The customer complaint was she is getting white lint or a white substance on the clothes. She also said sometimes the washer shakes real bad in the spin. I first entered the diagnostic mode to check for fault codes. No codes were present. I ran the test cycles and every function is working as it should. The front of the washer was not level so I raised the front legs. I found the drain hose was down the drain more than 9 inches. I pulled the drain hose out and kept only 6 inches in the drain pipe. I put 2 zip ties around the pipe to hold it in place. The customer is only using 1-2 teaspoons of a h.e soap. The customer has never cleaned the washer before and they live is a city with really hard water. I advised the customer to clean the washer monthly with a washer cleaner. No other issue found today.

Found that idler pulley is worn out. Customer approved estimate. Replaced idler pulley and cleaned out inside dryer of lint built up. Tested and dryer now tumbles quietly and heating and working good.; used 1 WPW10547292 (IDLER PULLEY) from stock

Installed all parts from last diagnosis and then tested multiple times no leaks and everything is working properly

Still not fully draining. Found the little flap in the drain line was partially stuck shit. Loosened it and now it isnt getting stuck shut anymore. Drains awesome.

Customers complaint not spinning clothing out and shaking. These GE top loads are known for shaking badly. Hooked up SmartHQ and had a error code for unbalanced load. Otherwise nothing. Put unit in spin watched RPMS. Unit was getting to correct RPMs and sounds normal. Also checked the drain pump. The agitator and everything is working properly. Updated unit with new software update

Wont drain. The dishwasher was stuck mid cycle. I reset It abs it designed perfect. I watched 2 complete rinse cycles with no issues. I educated the customer on resetting the dishwasher if it is interrupted during the cycle and wont restart.

"Customers complaint over heating, burn marks. Customer is getting brown marks in white clothing. Checked the temp of dryer at medium heat high at 150-155. Which is perfect high is 180. Again perfect. Unit sounds good and is heating properly. Nothing mechanical wrong. Possible that clothing is running on seals but even if we put new seals on still will have the clothing touch seals. "Not spinning out completing the cycle. She was washing 2 rubber backed rugs. The smart hq states it had an inverter board error I walked through the diagnostics it is bad and motor error. She noted a recent power event seemed to kick off this issue. The unit will not spin faster than 12rpm and the motor bearing can be heard when it spins. Please source motor and inverter board. "Squeaks, and duct is not sealed. I replaced the duct and inspected the rolling chassis. All the rollers and idler were smooth and I could find no faults. I cleaned the cavity and installed a new flex pipe. The dryer lid was loose and there was a metallic noise when you pushed on it so I installed a shim. The dryer is now fixed.; ordrd 1 DFLX4 (Duct)"

Unit wasnt draining and giving a E25. Pulled out unit to get to drain pump better. Once out removed drain pump. I noticed a hunk of glass stuck in the drain pump. The motor itself seams fine and no damage to the propeller. Reassembled unit and tested. Unit is working properly now and draining well.

"Found that door lock is going bad, it is very finicky one time door is shut the cycle will advance and next time it will not sense that the door is shut to start.I wiggle the door latch and it will sense door shut then sense it is open. "Customer said we are the 3rd company out from AHS. There is nothing we can do or replace that will make this customer believe that this is fixed and wont kill her family. First company that was out she had said replaced something and said that oven was good to use and then their CO2 detector went off again. THeir CO2 detector is outside the kitchen in the living room maybe 15 feet away. She had called gas company out again and sounds like they scared her by saying that it was really bad and could cause death. Xcel noted that it should be replaced (see pictures) so customer will not accept anything besides that option.I tested and it appears to have nice even blue flame and is heating. Im not sure what it could be. "Found that the CL code shows on display as soon as washer is turned on and cannot start cycle. CL means child lock function is on and buttons wont be responsive. I showed customer how to turn on/off the child lock to hold down the child lock button for 3-5 seconds.I ran full diagnostics and all functions are working good. I did find a lot of suds and suggested that less soap be used.Washer is working good."

The customer complaint is the oven does not bake and when they use the cooktop they hear clicking. I explained that since a its a electric range the burners will cycle on and off to maintain heat. The burners are controlled by relays and they must close and open to maintain the temperature for the burners. I found the power cord terminal block screws are loose and the red wires in the terminal block melted loose and it damaged the harness. I tried to tighten the connection. The bake was working on and off. It needs a terminal block and harness to be fixed properly. I gave the customer a quote for the repair. At this time he declined the repair. He will call us back if he wants it fixed. I created a estimate. EAG32629302 block

"Customer complaint is, ICE MAKER STOPPED WORKING. Inspected and tested. FF compartment temperature was 37F and freezer was -1. I pressed the test button on the ice maker and it cycled, but did not fill with water. I did that twice with the same results. The ice maker has failed. Installed new ice maker and tested. "Customer complaint is, WILL NOT TURN OFF AND CONTINUALLY RUNS. Inspected and tested. Found the garbage disposal has a air actuated switch and the switch is not turning it off. Garbage disposal works great when its on. Installed new garbage disposal air actuated switch and tested. Garbage disposal is now turning on and off with the switch. Garbage disposal is now fixed. Im not able to install the nut that holds the switch in place on the counter top, because its to close to the sink and theres not enough room to put the nut on. Its staying and place and you cant tell that its just sitting there unless you pull up on it and shouldnt be a issue."

The customer complaint was water is leaking out the ice maker compartment. The ice maker was off when I arrived. I turned it back on and the ice module was making some noises and not rotating like it should have been. The customer said when they turned the ice maker off the leaking stopped. I quoted the customer for a new ice maker assembly. I replaced the ice maker and ran a fill test. The new ice maker filled and did not leak. The customer moved the fridge to this house and now its not cooling. The fridge was plugged in and the thermometer was in the cooling position. The fans and the compressor are not running. I verified its not stuck in defrost. I removed the operating thermostat and just the thermostat. I plugged the fridge back in and the compressor and fans started right up. The customer said the freezer is fine but the fresh food is not cooling. The freezer temp was around 0 and the fresh food was around 45. "Customer complaint is, MAKING A LOUD NOISE. Customer said its randomly making a loud noise, but not all the time. Inspected and tested. Im not sure if the piece of plastic was the issue, or if this is one of the times the dishwasher sounds good. Dishwasher is testing good."

I replaced the mullion spring and tested it the door it is now fixed.

I replaced the UI and tested the dishwasher. It is now fixed.

This dishwasher is on the 16th floor. Customer said that dishwasher wouldnt power on and start. As im here dishwasher turns on and is running. Went into diagnostics and all fucntions are working good as im here. Dishwasher is running cycle.This is a business and they said that we need to fill out an I9? The back bearing fell apart. Disassembled unit and replaced the back bearing kit. Reassembled unit then tested unit is working great.

"Customers complaint unit not cleaning well now and making noise. Spun unit by hand and it seams good. Put unit in a spin and unit ran properly and bearing has a little louder then normal noise. But everything else is good. Ran through diagnostic mode and checked the valves and they are working properly also. Customer said they have tried multiple cleaning cycles with different types of cleaners but still has a bad smell. Unit isnt over sudsing and customer isnt using to much soap. I cant find anything wrong with unit besides the smell and thats inside the basket itself and tub and in between the spider. Customers complaint unit not washing properly even before tab on dispenser broke. Found the motor is running but its loud. Noticed the spray arms not really moving. Found the bottom spray arm full of debris and separating and also the upper spray arm. The top rack falls and will need the new adjust kit and then the dispenser doesnt shut. Last diagnosis Unit would randomly not. I put unit in mode and found a few issues. One was the E4F6 code which is for the float. When I tested the unit after had the customers complaint where it added water but wouldnt start. I tested the float switch and was bad. Moved the float up and down a couple times and worked the rest of the time. The next issue is the upper spray arm never working. The diverter would try to move but never would spray the top rack. Will need new float parts and diverter. Customer complaint is unit leaking and floor and damaging floor. Pulled unit out on protective equipment. Notice a bunch of water coming out the bottom when pulling out. Took the back cover off and found the water valve is constantly dripping. Turned water off. Then removed water. Quoted customer for new valve. Customer approved valve. Installed hinges from pre diagnostic. The door wasnt shutting all the way. Once parts installed tested door and its working great.

"Fault code is fan error. But when i try to go into test mode it doe snot run and i do not get any power to either freezer fan or fresh food fan. Looks like there is a 9 volt wire adapter to test the fans part# 819611 and 819610 might be useful when I come back. So at this point I dont know if its the fans or control board.Order control board, PC fan (fresh food fan) and FC (freezer fan) and 9V battery wire adapters? and give estimate. For the most expensive part incase.Schedule 2 hours for repair so i have time to really dig into this.; saved tckt"

Found that dryer was full of lint build up inside dryer and also due to pest control adding a cover over the dryer vent and then got clogged and blocked all air flow. THe dryer vent blows into the garage. Cleaned out dryer and showed customer the cover with lint and said to either clean it often or leave it off.Tested and dryer is cycling heat and working good.

Freezer is running and has good frost pattern. So based on that it appears that it is intermittent which could be defrost timer or cold control. I talked to customer and he approved estimate to replace both. I replaced cold control and ordered defrost timer part and rescheduling.I will collect total when i come back for defrost timer.; ordrd 1 5304518034 (Defrost timer)

Loud washer that doesnt spin out clothes. Failed heat box was quoted.

"Based on what customer was experiencing that washer wouldnt start and then shut off few minutes into cycle, there is a service bulletin (see picture) about motor and start capacitor. They test fine but when i run diagnostics on washer the motor makes loud screeching sound as it ramps up in speed. So based on that the motor and start capacitor would need to be replaced. The vibration is normal on this model and explained that the more items the better to balance out the load evenly around the tub.Sending customer email copy of estimate so they can send to their credit card company for review. They will call back if they want to proceed with ordering parts and repair."

"Not tumbling, failed idler was the cause I replaced it. The dryer tumbled and heated. It is now fixed.; used 1 DE634A (PULLEY) from stock"

Not cooling fridge. Compressor and fans were rubbing and no frost. The sealed system has failed. They will repair or replace it.

"Lint trap was heavily built up. The unit was plugged up with lint, and the gas valve coils needed to be replaced. I cleaned it and replaced the coils. The temps looked good it cycles between 111 And 198. Please call Anna collect.; pckd up 1 279834 (Coils)"

"Loud when it spins, the rear main bearing have failed. They will replace the compact washer."

Found that pots and pans drawer was full and looks to have been touching and grounding out the spark bake igniter so it wasnt sparking to ignite gas for heat. I removed drawer and it ignites and heats every time i try. I explained that to customer and they will use as normal but if problem still continues the bake igniter will need to be replaced.Also right side door hinge is bent causing the oven door to click loudly when opening/closing door.

"Customer complaint is, E4F8 ERROR CODE AND DENT INSIDE ALSO. Inspected and tested. Found the water supply elbow is cracked and leaking and tripping the float. Installed new elbow and tested. No more leaks and dishwasher is working great. Dishwasher is now fixed. ; used 1 w10685193 (ELBOW) from stock"

"Customer complaint is, DISHWASHER WONT TURN ON. Customer also said it wasnt heating when it was working. Inspected and tested. Dishwasher UI was unresponsive. I power cycled dishwasher and now it turns on. I started a cycle and its not circulating water. I pulled dishwasher out and found the circulation pump is getting power, but not turning on. Also the heating element TCO is tripped. Dishwasher is going to need a new board part number WD21X24902, a new circulation pump part number WD26X23258 and a new TCO harness part number WD21X24096. Dana can you call this in for authorization. I need extra time on my return trip. ; saved tckt"

Replaced water valve and water line. Tested and water now dispenses and ice maker fills. Refrigerator is working good.

"Found that either the transmission is bad or the hub as it wont catch to spin the outer tub. The washplate is corroded and stuck onto the transmission shaft and i tired to pop it off but couldnt, so it would have to be broken/cut off before i can get to the hub and transmission shaft..Hubkit w10528947; washplate w10902814"

"Temps in the freezer were in the high teens to test. I did a refrigeration test, it failed. They will fixed the sealed system or replace it."
