Customer had unit slid out partially and has been working on it themselves lots of missing screws in the back and light scratches on floor. Put unit in test mode to test the fan. Would hit the fan button but nothing. Removed the top grill to look at fan and found a nerf dart jammed in the fan. Removed the dart and tested again and its working properly.

"They said the oven takes a long time to heat. They said the orifices for the 2 right burners were replaced by the dealer that sold it. I pulled the range out and tested pressure from the regulator. The pressure is 5, that is normal. The middle burner and the 2 right burner flames are correct. The 2 on the left are low. I tried to adjust them but they are still low. I removed the cover and I found the orifices for the left burners are very small, they look like orifices for propane. The bake burner lights but the flame is low. That orifice looks low too. The grill/broil is also not working. I smell gas and it sparks but it does not lite. We need to order the natural gas orifices for all the burners and bake and broil. ; O-emld tckt"

Lower spray arm looks suspect. Seams potentially separating during wash. Causing waves of water and spray towards the float. Seals are good. Drain line good. Sump assembly and Diverter not leaking. Recommended to customer that they replace the spray arm. They will order that and replace themself.

"Front right burner not igniting. Found the orfice plugged up with syrup, and the little hole on the burner plugged as well. Cleaned those out along with all the burnt syrup built up on the burner. Still didnt spark. Swapped right burner wires and both spark. Wrapped entire wire for front right in electrical tape and kept wires swapped. When you turn knob for front right burner none of the burners spark. But it sparks with any other knobs turned. Quoted for switch harness. Also quoted for spark module in case it needs both. Customer will probably use as is but will call us in future if they decide to install the parts."

I pressed start and the first thing it did was drain the water. I let drain then refill and wash for a few minutes. I pressed cancel again and it drained all the water out. I ran a diagnostic cycle and everything on it is working. I did adjusted the drain hose so it has a better high loop. It is not leaking for me.

"Washer hasnt been spinning out or draining until they put it on a drain and spin. Checked pressure sensor dome. Cleaned sludge out of there. That was per the recommendation of GE tech support. Also adjusted drain line so that it isnt 18 down the drain hole. Its about 5 inches down now. Per GE. Ran it for awhile on a regular wash, then on a drain and spin. Noticed as well that there is maybe a 1/8 play between tubs, and makes a rubbing sound when tub is agitating or spinning. Told customer its also possible that the rear bearing could be in the early stages of going bad. Charged minimum labor charge. Explained if it continues with issue, they could be looking at a bearing job. Also recommended cutting back on detergent as there are a lot of suds."

I checked the drain pump filter and it was mostly clean and the drain pump, pumps the water out fast. I threw in 2 towels and ran the rinse and spin. The washer drained all the water out and it completed the spin cycle and the towels were rung out. I did notice while it was ramping up to speed the washer moved and swayed back in fourth. I adjusted the front left leg. The washer feels more secure now."

"The customer said the dishwasher does not seem to dry as well and the soap tablet is not dissolving. I hooked up the diagnostic tool, and the active fault code was for the flood sensor. If the flood sensor float does not move, then it will disable the heater. I remove the sensor and verified that the float was stuck. The customer said the washer will lock and try to run any cycle for a few seconds then it shuts down and the door remains locked. And the same goes for the spin cycle. I put the washer into diagnostics and the fault f57 motor over current is the only fault saved. I tried to run motor test but the f57 comes up. The drain pump comes on and it drains the water fine. I followed the test per the tech sheet. The drum spins freely. The motor tested good at 3.6 across all the pins on the motor. Per the tech sheet it needs the motor control. I then cleared up the ice and put a tube over the ice fill tube so water doesnt splash out from the ice maker tube.

"Customer complaint is, REF KEEPS FREEZING. LEAKING WATER IN THE FRZ, cust advised water is leaking out of drip pan under unit/ the icemaker is not making ice/they shut off water to appliance. Inspected and tested. FF compartment is 39F and freezer was 1F. Found the ice maker fill tube is frozen and water is overflowing into the freezer defrost drain and bottom floor of the freezer. Its also causing the drain pan underneath the refrigerator to overflow. Customer said that they notice these problems with the ice maker every time the filter gets to the end of its life. Looks like when the filter gets plugged, the low water pressure causes the fill tube to freeze up. I defrosted the fill tube and cycled the ice maker and it filled with water. Customer is going to try replacing the filter more often. I also defrosted the evaporator completely and after 20 minutes it had frost on about 75%. It looks like the sealed system is a little low, but not enough to effect the temperatures. ; saved tckt"

The customer found a gfi outlet in the basement that powers the range. I reset the gfi and now it works. The customer said the oven has a strong gas smell when the oven comes on. I started the oven bake at 350. Soon after the oven smells stronger than it should. I removed the bottom and noticed the flame was big and lazy. I adjusted air shutter until the flame sound was better and the flame was tight in the burner. We tried a few more times and the strong smell is gone.
