The compressor and the fan is running. The evaporator coils is slightly cold but no frost is building up. The unit has a sealed system leak. The leak is most likely in the cavity. I advised the customer it would be better to replace the refrigerator.

I opened the storage drawer and found a flat cookie sheet has fallen back and was grounding against the electrode. I moved the stuff in the drawer and now the bake works every time. "The customer complaint was the washer would just fill with water and never stop. Then the washer was not draining or something. I found the drain hose was laying in the ground behind the washer. If the hose is in the ground then all the water can drain out and it will not stop filling. There is a floor drain to the left of the washer so all the water was going into it. I started the washer on a normal cycle. The washer filled and then started a wash. I put to final spin, the washer drained all the water out. The washer started to spin and it did get up to the high speed."

"Customer complaint is, STARTED BY ITSELF AND WATER STAYING IN GASKET. From what the customer was explaining, it sounds like the drain pump was running continuously until he unplugged it. I get a stored F3E1 error, which is a water level system error. I removed the airtrap assembly on the back of the washer and it was clear. Also removed the drain filter and it was clean. Ran washer through quick diagnostics and everything worked great and no errors. I installed new pressure sensor and started a quick cycle and about 2 minutes in gave me a F3E1 error and started running the drain pump continuously. Installed new pressure sensor hose and still get the error. Installed new main board and now washer is working great. Washer is now fixed."

The freezer temp was around 3 degrees and the average fresh foot temp I got was 37. The customer has a thermometer on the top shelf under the cold air vent. The thermometer was around 30 degrees. I pushed the down button until I got all minus signs. The fridge should have turned off immediately. The fans stayed on and the compressor stayed on for a few minutes after it was off. I replaced the jazz board and replaced the damper control. I programmed the new board to version 12. I advised the customer to move the thermometer away from the vent and go by what the food is doing versus the thermometer.

It sounds good and smells better.

"The customer said it just stopping cooling well. They had 2 other service companies out and both of the technicians tapped into the system and checked the pressure. They both said it was a bad compressor. The techs left their taps on and then crimped the tubing. I was unable to get before pressures. Just going off how its working and how suddenly it stoping cooling I diagnosed and bad compressor too. I replaced the compressor, filter drier and updated the board. I checked for leaks and then pulled a vacuum. I recharged the system. The low side was in the upper 20s and dropping and the hi side was around 100 and moving. I advised the customer to wait 6-8 hours for it to cool down and 24 hours before they fill it back up."

The owner said there was issue with the freezer door seal and it does not make ice. I found the ice but was half full of ice and the ice maker was turned off on the display panel. I turned the ice maker back on. There is ice and frost all over the door. The freezer door does not seal tight. I found the bottom of the freezer door gasket was pulled away. I pushed it back into the groove and cleaned the door gasket. I applied silicone grease on the gasket and raised the front feet so the door closes better. I advised the customer its normal for the door to pop as long as it shuts. I also heated up the gasket and stretched it.

Called tech support and ran though test and determined that defrost sensor is not reading correct temperature and is shutting off heater too early. Also there is a sensor relocation kit. "Found that hi limit thermistor is open and cut power to gas valve. Customer approved estimate. Replaced fuse, tested with vent disconnected and dryer cycles heat normally. I attached vent and dryer heat spikes. Dryer vent is clogged. Customer approved to clean it but when i pulled off dryer vent cover outside I found that it runs underneath porch with no access to vent and it is the plastic flexible vent. I informed customer that its not to code and is prone to rip and if i rip it i have no way to fix it since its sealed from underneath and a floor above it.I informed them to call dryer vent company to make it right. Customer will do that. Dryer itself is heating and working good and when vent is cleaned/fixed dryer will work good.

"Customer complaint is, OVERHEATING ON MEDIUM HEAT. Inspected and tested. Started dryer on a timed dry medium heat cycle and it got up to 255F before I shut it off. Airflow on outside of house is only 17mph. I removed vent from back of dryer and airflow is 40mph and heat is now good with vent disconnected. The vent that goes through the wall to the outside is messed up and not sealing well. I advised customer to have the vent replaced through the wall and all the way to the dryer. After reattaching everything, heat is cycling between 235F and 120F on high heat and airflow on outside of house is 20mph. I advised customer to not use dryer above low heat until they get the vent replaced."

The customer had some rubber blocks for leveling a washer. I raised the front and put the blocks under the front wheels so the fridge is more level now.
