I recovered the refrigerant after verifying that the compressor was the defective. I cut out the old filter drier and defective compactor compressor. I cleaned the remaining lines with nitrogen. I brazed in a new compressor, filter drier and low side access valve. I pulled a deep vacuum and charged the sealed system with 4.23 ounces of R134 refrigerant. Verified that the high and low side pressures indicate strong refrigerant flow. I let the customer know that settings bottle of water in the freezer and allowing it to turn into a block of ice is the best way to verify refrigerator is operating correctly.

I recovered the remaining refrigerant. I cut out the defective lock ring, contaminated compressor and filter drier, pushed nitrogen through remaining sealed system lines. I brazed in a patch on the right side of the condenser coil, a new compressor, filter drier and low side access. I pulled a deep vacuum and charged the sealed system with 58 grams of R600 refrigerant. Verified flow of refrigerant by high and low side pressures. The refrigerator will reach set temperature in 24 hours. Please set a bottle of water in the freezer ave allow it to freeze.

Customer complaint is that water leaked and theyve never seen that. I ran washer for a half hour and thoroughly inspected it and could not find any defects, cracks, holes, or anywhere the water would be leaking through. I did find some water that was sitting along the right side of the washer inside the cabinet on the floor along the perimeter. I asked the customer additional questions about what they were washing when it happened and they mentioned that there was a giant air bubble underneath the sheet that was on top when it happened. Thats when we were able to determine that water was splashing off of that bubble when it did a rinse portion of the wash. They had a new flood pan. They recently purchased, and they asked if I could install that underneath the washer which I did.

Upon inspection unit had no power to lights or to the oven I found that there was a high limit thermostat trip unit was set at a high temp for a long time. I had to use a paper towel, wet it down and kept it down to replace the igniter so I could work so there was water underneath the burner which steamed unit that tripped that fuse. I advised if it keeps tripping that youll need a new fuse Units working great done.

Upon inspection I found the door latch is broken into the door lock mechanism. Went to distributor to grab parts, tried replacing just latch first. Didnt fix issue. Replaced both latch and lock and unit is functioning perfectly. Door is sagging a little bit so instructed customer to shut carefully to avoid further repairs. New door assembly would be expensive. I pressurized the system again before cutting out the evaporator and drier, I found a tiny gap on the top of the drier filter that was not sealed shut. (Photos attached)I cut out the filter drier removed the brazed fittings. I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned the filter drier, heater exchanger and steel line. Brazed in a new filter drier, pulled a vacuum and charged the sealed system with 57 grams of R600 refrigerant. The high and low side pressures indicate strong flow of refrigerant throughout the cooling system (picture attached ).
