Notes from real Omega Force service calls: the appliance, the problem we found and how we fixed it.

The dryer motor was weak and failing. Today I replaced the dryer motor assembly. The dryer runs good and for longer than 10 seconds. I oiled the rollers and cleaned up the loose lint.

The ice maker was leaking water. I verified the ice maker was bad. The film was flaking off. I replaced the ice maker and verified it fills and no water leaking.
“He showed up precisely on time, with the necessary repair part for my oven in his tool bag. Installed the part in about 15 minutes. I also asked about our leaking ice maker and he had a replacement in his truck. Fixed that problem in another 15 minutes. He also noticed some loose hardware on my refrigerator door and tightened it up. These repairs were not cheap, but what is today? Given the overall experience, they will be my go-to appliance repair guys!”

The dishwasher would not drain all the water out. The dishwasher has water sitting in the bottom. I started the dishwasher and shut the door. The drain pump came on and it drained through the air gap but for only a few seconds then it stopped draining but the pump was still on. I removed the air gap cover and cap. I used a long screw driver and put it down the air gap to clean it out. I tried it again and now it drains good. It drains strong and fast. I stated the dishwasher and drained it 3 times. I showed the customer how to clean it and and how to check the filter.

Unit giving a OE code and not draining properly. Customer cleared filter; still issue. Verified complaints and noticed the drain pump was making loud noise also. Quoted then disassembled, installed, reassembled then tested multiple times for leaks and proper performance.

Ice builds up on bottom of freezer and then melts and leaks onto floor. Found the evaporator drain iced over. The drain nozzle was gummed up. Steamed out nozzle and drains and drain pan. Cleaned out nozzle and cut triangle out of tip to mitigate sealing issues. Drains great now.

Pulled out range to replace valve and realized gas was turned 3/4 of way off. Turned gas on, now all burners ignite great and burn with nice flames exactly how theyre supposed to.

Customer complaint is, lid lock issue - error cant get it to open. Customer said it happens randomly. Tested washer and its working perfectly.Adjusted the metal plate on the back lid switch and checked the lid lock for debris. I removed the lid lock and there was soap all over on the inside of it. I cleaned it out.
