Notes from real Omega Force service calls: the appliance, the problem we found and how we fixed it.

I verified the back left burner igniter was broken. I removed the top then replaced the igniter. I tested all the burners and now all of them work perfectly.

The customer said the fresh food is not cooling well but the freezer is fine. Its making ice and freezing food. I found the fan in the freezer is not working and ice is built up. The customer said the fresh food door does not seal tight. I removed the door and found the door stop screws are rubbing on the door support. I put a washer on the support so the door is up higher and now the screws do not rub. I removed the freezer evaporator cover and completely defrosted the evaporator and then replaced the evaporator fan. The fan is running now and now I get cold air into the refrigerator. I advised the customer to wait 24 hours for temps to be back to normal.

37 in ff and 0 in freezer. Door flapper broken. Replaced door flap which also had broken wires. They've been getting some condensation, and it was coming from the door flap. Tightened the receiver the flap slides into, it was hanging down a little. Made sure doors were level, and theyre super close to perfect. Everything good now.

Found that the water line inside door dispenser came dislodged and was spraying inside dispenser rather than outside into a cup. I aligned water line and now water dispenses normally and no longer leaks. Ice maker also cycles and fill. Refrigerator is working good.

Customer complaint is, flooring was done and was moved and now it doesnt cool correctly. Customer had refrigerator unplugged and completely defrosted. I removed the FF evaporator cover and both the defrost sensor and temperature sensor tested exactly the same at 5,160 ohms and were good. Defrost heater came on in test mode and fans is working. Drain is open. I did find junk in the freezer evaporator drain tube on the back side and cleaned it out. I dumped water down both drains and there draining great. I cant find anything out of space and everything is testing good. Customer is going to use it and see what happens.

Dryer overheating and shutting off. Took apart bulkhead and cleaned out a ton of lint. Also tightened loose nut on blower wheel. Cleaned out a ton of lint behind back of drum, blocking those vents and dried up a couple cups of water in basin. Runs and heats great now, runs at 200 tops. It normally shut off after 30 seconds. Now it runs indefinitely and doesnt shut off.

Washer not draining. Took out filter and found it full of coins, cue tips, stickers and other debris. Cleaned it all out, put grease on the seals, and showed customer how to take out filter and clean it. Drains great now.
