Thank you for diagnosing the dishwasher issue! The diagnosis was accurate - the water was the issue and it turned out our water softener wasn't working properly so we had hard water running through the house. Once we treated the water, the dishwasher started working properly. I really appreciate the help with this issue - thank you!
