Notes from real Omega Force service calls: the appliance, the problem we found and how we fixed it.

Customer complaint is, not baking correctly. Inspected and tested. Found the bake ignitor is weak and taking a while to ignite. Installed new bake ignitor and tested. Oven is heating great. Oven is now fixed.

Found that the wires are shorted in terminal box. Looks like wires were not secure/tight enough and shorted out. Spliced wires and added new wire nuts, wires are secure and dishwasher powers on and all functions are working good.

Customers complaint making a squeaky noise when running. Disassembled unit and found the idler is bad. Checked the rollers they were good. Quoted customer for new idler and cleaned up the dryer also oiled the rollers. Reassembled unit and now its working properly without any squeaky

Getting 888 which means e general error. Can cancel unit and will go back to normal. Found that dishwasher not drianing. Found that there was bunch of pumpkin seeds stuck in drain line. Vacuumed out line and dishwasher now drains and is working good.

The customer complaint was the washer would not drain the water out. I started the drain and spin and I could hear the drain pump and the impeller sounded broken. I removed the drain pump and found the impeller was broken. I quoted the customer BB for the part replacement. I replaced the drain pump. I did find the drum bearing and spider are failing so its loud when it spins. The customer is aware and will live with it for now. I also found the drain hose was about 2 feet down the stand pipe. I pulled the drain hose out and now have down the pipe about 8 inches.

Door only latches when you press super hard on it. Needs a new door latch assembly..

Customer complaint was control lock was on. Customer was pressing the wrong button to unlock the control. I show the customer the button they need to press was the volume button for three seconds. Now the control is unlocked and the washer operate.

Not cooling. The fan and compressor was running but it was warm. I removed The evaporator cover and found there was no frost on the evaporator. This unit has a failed sealed system

Found that the heating element is open also had old idler. Customer approved estimate for both parts. Tested and dryer is now cycling heat heating and working good.
