"The dryer does not heat at all. I put the dryer on time dry but still no heat. I found the dryer vent is plugged up bad. The lower thermostat on the heat cone is bad. I replaced both thermostats on the heat cone. The dryer heats good now. I advised the customer to have the dryer duct cleaned ASAP. I warned him that if they use it with the duct plugged up and the thermostat pops that there would be a charge again. "Customer complains of an error and the pump begins to run instantly. Upon arrival and inspection I found the unit in the errored state. I removed the water from the tray and inspected and found one source of leak, the drip funnel that catches leaks from the door assembly. I removed the door and inspected the seal and the door hinges. I have followed the specified procedures found in the service bulletin for This type of leak. I found the right side door hinge hardware had fallen out. I was able to find this missing hardware and secure the door hinge. I inspected the door seal and found it heavily worn. After following LGs instructions and leveling the unit I found the tub was imperfect. The left side is built taller than the right hand side. It is my believe this machine was not built properly from the factory and has a manufacturing defect. The Customer agreed to test the machine after the repairs I completed. If it continues to leak she will call AHS. If error reoccurs it will need to be sent into authorizations as no further repair can be completed."

"Customer complaint is, WORKED TWICE & NOW NOT AGAIN. Inspected and found it was dead again. I was able to get it to turn on by playing with the jumper harness that goes from house power to the board. Im going to order a new jumper harness. Installed new harness and tested. Dishwasher was still dead. I was able to get it to turn on by messing with the wire harness that connects to the board. Ive replaced every board and wire harnesses in this dishwasher and its still acting up. Theres nothing else I can do to this dishwasher. Dishwasher is currently working, but thats what it has been doing the last two times Ive been here and then dies after a week or so."

The unit is loud and the automatic cycles are not completing when they should. Upon arrival and inspection I found the front bearing and glide failed. I replaced them and tested temps with a thermal couple in the cavity. Machine instantly short cycled and raised above 250?F. I checked the vent and it is 100% blocked. Customer will clean the vent. "Found that dryer is getting very hot inside drum and then shuts off until it cools down and overload limit resets and will turn on again. Disconnected dryer vent, tested heat and dryer cycles on and off normally and never shuts off. I attach vent and dryer overheats and shut off. Dryer vent runs through basement ceiling and i am able to move the whole dryer vent, based on that it appears that vent is disconnected in the ceiling. Also the outside vent into house it crushed from 4inch opening to maybe 2 inch. Appears that it was bent enough to get it to fit? I explained to customer that vent would need to be fixed and to try their association and see if they cover it, otherwise suggested Dryer Vent Wizard."

The customer said the dryer worked for about 8 to 10 loads. Turn the dryer on and it started to heat and heated for about 10 minutes. Its now doing the same thing where they igniter glows and then goes out. I called Phil and we went through the control board and the gas valve and everything is still testing good on the dryer. Advise the customer that they could have a gas supply pressure issue. And have the gas pressure tested. I am finding no regulator to regulate the amount of gas pressure to the dryer. The regulator that I replaced could be internally bad now. The pressure has to be checked and fixed frost before we can replace the valve if needed.
