FF evaporator fan motor failing. Customer approved estimate. Didnt have part on tuck stock. Ordering part and rescheduling ; ordrd 1 WR60X26866 (Evap fan motor)

I found the evaporator was frosted up. I put into a defrost and it started to defrost. I replaced the jazz board and made sure to program it. I initiated a long defrost. Advised to give it 24 hours to get back to normal. ; used 1 WPW10503278 (JAZZ BOARD) from stock

I found the operating thermostat was shorting out. I replaced the thermostat and its working good. ; used 1 WP2315562 (COLD CONTROL) from stock

"Customer complaint is, NOT COOLING. Inspected and tested. Refrigerator was not running and the display just showed off. I couldnt get anything to change on the display. I had customer shut the power off for a couple minutes and then it turned on and started cooling. Customer was gone over the weekend when it died, but thinks they might of had a power outage. I advised customer to monitor it for a couple days and see if its working. If it does it again I think we should replace the board. Part number 297326501. "

Ran diagnostics and all functions are working good and no errors. I ran the sanitize cycle with pod just to replicate issue. As soon as soap pod dispensed there was a lot of soap suds so dishwasher was sucking air and not heating water.I showed customer the suds and recommended to change soap and/or check water softner if it is too soft the pod could be too much soap. Mechanically dishwasher is working good.

I found the dishwasher was very slow but draining. I found the hose was plugged. I blew into the hose until the obstruction was clear. Now it drains good.

"Customer complaint is, NO POWER KEEPS TRIPPING THE BREAKER AND IT WONT FINISH A FULL CYCLE. Inspected and tested. I started dishwasher and watched it for about 10 minutes and was working great. I ran dishwasher through service diagnostics and there was no errors and everything worked perfectly. The heater and circulation pump were on at the same time and it never drew more than 8 amps. I inspected main board and power supply connections and they all look good. Theres no water leaking anywhere underneath. Customer said they already tried running it with a extension cord plugged in somewhere else and it still tripped it. I would be completely guessing to start replacing parts."

The drain pump impeller was stripped off. I tried the Lg drain pump but it would just not fit. Im ordering the Samsung assembly. ; ordrng 1 DC97-19289F (Drain pump assembly)

Found that heating element is bad. Customer approved estimate. Replaced heater and added periscope vent. Tested and dryer is heating and venting out good.; used 1 DUCT-18OFFSET (4396037RP 18 OFFSET) from stock

I found the heater was not getting the voltage out from the motor. I found the terminal on the harness to the motor was burnt. I replaced the terminal. Its heating now. If it happens again it needs a harness.

The customer said after the cycle they notice some water under the door and could fell wetness on the door insulation. I ran for a bit and found no leaking. I found food in the spray arm jets. That will cause the spray arms to not spin and then water to leak out. Food stuck in the spray arms and I cant get it all out. Having the office ship the customer the spray arms. When I arrived I found both sections were not cooling that well but it sounded like the compressor was running. After running all the diagnostic test and the cooling test I found the freezer evaporator was not building up was the right amount of frost during the test. Advise the customer to give it 24 hours if it starts to work better it probably needs a rear main control board if it continues to not work properly then it would be a sealed system issue.

"Getting 8.8 or 88 error code and not responsive. I reset dryer and started working but tenet says it will intermittently happen and not work for days. "Customer says dishwasher not draining. At end do cycle, bottom was still full of water. As I got here I canceled cycle and dishwasher drained. I plugged in newfi and dishwasher shows no errors or updates available. I ran full diagnostics test and completed and dishwasher drains. I checked drain and filter for any blockages. I cannot find any problem or reason why dishwasher did not drain. Dishwasher is working good as im here. He will use it as normal and call back if problem persists."

"Customer showed me that there is big ice block in ice bucket also customer said that around that time everything in the freezer started to seem soft but then customer did power freeze and refrigerator has been working normal. Ice maker is broken, plastic that hold on thermistor broke and when ice maker cycles it doesnt drop 2 cubes which causes ice maker to over fill and leak, creating the ice block.I suspect that the cooling is fine and i think the ice caused the door not to fully shut making food thaw and now that the door closed the food is frozen and cold.Ice maker would need to be replaced. Part not in stock but gave rough estimate. Customer will think about it and call back if they want to proceed. DA97-05037D."

I replaced the main control and auger motor. All is testing good.

I replaced the drain hose and connector hose. I ran it and drained it. The dishwasher does not leak now.

I replaced the fresh food fan and ran the firmware update. All is good now.

I replaced both parts . I had to also adjust the upper rack so it goes back all the way in. Its working good now.

The freezer section was fine. It was the top fresh food section that was not cooling properly. I found the fresh food evaporator fan was not working. The fan was stuck and binding. I replaced the fan and ran the firmware update. I charged for the fan and minimal labor. ; used 1 WR60X26866 (FRESH FOOD FAN) from stock

"I pulled it out and found water in the bottom again. I let run for a while and drain it and started back up. I cannot see it leak anymore. I removed the door front and no sign a of water. I tipped it on it side and removed the bottom cover, still no signs of a water leak. It looks like the bottom spray arm could be splitting under hot water conditions. I advised the customer if I had to make a educated guess I would replace the bottom spray arm and door seal. At this time he wasnt to do nothing."

I cycled the ice maker but it did not cycle. The ice maker is getting 120 volts. The cold control thermostat is bad and the ice maker is bad. Both would need to be replaced. Added a pic of the quote.

"Wash motor is bad and vibrating loudly. Customer approved estimate to replace. I replaced wash motor, tested and dishwasher now runs quiet and is working good."

"Customer complaint is, GREEN 'CLEAN' LIGHT IS FLASHING, WHICH IS PREVENTING THE DISWASHER FROM TURNING ON AND RUNNING THE CYCLE. Inspected and tested. Found the heating element has failed and the thermistor is leaking on the bottom of the sump. Also the circulation pump and fill valve are extremely loud. I recommended replacing heating element, circulation pump and sump assembly, thermistor and fill valve if there going to do anything, but at a minimum the heating element and thermistor need to be replaced. Heating element is not in stock."

Fresh food section has been warm although the freezer has been cold. I found the evaporator completely iced up and when I put it into forced defrost heater did not come on. I found a bad bi metal so I replaced that and steamed all the ice out and now the heater works great and it is already cooling down in the fresh food section.; used 1 WP4387490 (DEFROST BIMETAL) from stock

"Customer complaint is, GASKET IS RIPPING NEEDS NEW DOOR BOOT. Inspected and tested. Found the door boot is ripped. Installed new door boot and tested. Washer is working great and not leaking. Washer is now fixed."

"Customer complaint is, DISHES ARE WET AT THE END. Inspected and tested. Everything but the heating element worked in test mode. Found the TCO was tripped. I reset the TCO and ran it for a while and it was working great. I advised customer to watch it and if it does it again, we will have to replace the TCO harness. Part number WD21X24536. Blue Book is about $240. to install new harness."

I explained the settings to the customer and how on all of the sensor cycles the temps are not adjustable. Only the manual warm setting can be adjusted. The high temp was 201 and the low setting temp was 166. The temps cycled good. This is a ventless dryer. The filters were clean.

The dishwasher fills with water but does not pump water. I found the wash motor is locked up. I do not carry that motor. Wash motor WPW10510666; ordrd 1 WPW10510666 (Wash motor)

Replaced broken drain line. Drains great now with no leaks. Had to use air sled because unit was not pulled out and dryer was still on top. Called to run payment but they were in a store and asked if they could call back to make the payment. $256.34

I replaced the user interface control board. Its all working good.

"Customer complaints the the automatic cycle stopped prematurely. Upon arrival and inspection I found the unit had a series of F3E4 errors, along with an F2E1 stuck button error. I cleared the code and put unit into the loads test mode and tested the moisture sensor and after cleaning it worked great. I tested a wet towel load after this and found The cavity steamed up instantly indicating there was a vent blockage. I pulled the washer out beside it looked through the inspection hold and found the hose was kinked. I cut out the lights of the hose and reassembled so that it could not kink. I checked the vent outside and it was much better although it was not up to 20 mph. Advise customer to get the vent cleaned the dryer is now working as it designed. Bill for labor 45 minutes on site."

I verified the issue with the front panel. I replaced the front user interface panel. All buttons and functions tested good.

I replaced the water valve and verified there was no leaks. The customer had the dishwasher mounting screws removed when I first arrived. I left it how I found it.

"I replaced the door lock assembly. I tested the washer on a wash and spin cycle. The door locks and unlocks good. We need to get paid. Job is complete. ; O-emld tckt , states that autho needed"

I found the compressor was not running. I was getting 120 volts to the inverter. I replaced the inverter and the compressor kicked right on. Its cooling down. Advised to give it the rest of the day to cool. ; used 1 WR49X10283 (COMPRESSOR INVERTER) from stock

"I found that the dishwasher would not drain the water. The drain pump tried but just hummed. I sucked the water out and removed the drain pump. I found a chunk of glass stuck in the drain pump. I removed the glass and put the pump back on. The dishwasher fills, washes and drains good."

I removed the blower duct housing and removed the scraper that was stuck in the blower. The dryer sounds good now. No parts replaced.

I put dielectric grease on the Molex plug for the bimetal and fan and I replace the bimetal thermostat just in case. I defrosted the center of the evaporator. I advised the customer to give it 24 hours before all temps are back to normal. ; used 1 WR50X60 (DEFROST BIMETAL) from stock"

"Led display loose, dishwasher does not run. This unit would need a complete user interface with touchpad and a control board to complete repairs. I also found an active leak underneath the unit as well. I didnt even address the leak as the total was already higher than the customer wanted to spend. I Spoke with customer they are not willing to invest heavily into this machine that is obsolete. No quick repairs were possible they will replace the unit."

"Loud during tumble. I found a rock in the bearing causing the noise, I removed it. The dryer quieted right down after it was removed. It is now fixed."

Not cooling under 30deg. I pulled the evaporator cover and defrosted the evaporator. I watched it for 20 minutes it never frosted up beyond the first 3 coils. Please transfer to a refrigeration company.

Locked and pump runs. Upon arrival and inspection I found the pressure sensor was blocked with metal filings/rust. I cleared the blockage and the pump filter. I reset the washer and it did complete the automated tests. The rear bearing has failed there is 1/16th inch play. The customer is a mechanic he had the unit unhooked when I arrived. He declined fixing the failed bearing.

"Refrigerator was not fully defrosted and refrigerator was running and cooling when i got there. 2 days before return trip customer said the freezer was at 40 degrees and everything was thawing. He said he had unplugged the fridge for 24 hours and plugged it back in and after 8 hours it still didnt cool past 45 until he entered the Samsung diagnostics mode and exited back out then the fridge started cooling and has been at correct temperatures for past 2-3days.He is weary of the freezer temperature. I checked for errors and fridge says none.Someone or several people have ready pulled off the evaporator and tried to fix it as there is a bunch of foam wrapping around the evaporator where it normally frosts up to try and fix it (see picture)And evaporator cover styrofoam is cracked in several places. Customer also doesnt want the heater installed because its a aftermarket part and not a fix by Samsung? And he is afraid of starting a fire. He said he wanted to see the specs if the heater/board/wires were rated to draw that extra current. (he looked it up online?).So what do you want to do with this call? Order evaporator and put it in? I could not verify issue with freezer, it was at -8 degrees according to their thermometer that was inside so must be intermittent problem.If we are going back the evaporator cover part# DA97-13757A needs to be ordered.; schdld next appmnt for 7/13 WED !"

"Found that Nate ziptied defrost bimetal to evaporator and zip tie broke so was not secure to evaporator. So the evaporator was frosted over and poor air flow into refrigerator. Also checked wiring and splice pulled off. I replaced bimetal, defrost thermostat and redid all splices. Manually defrosted evaporator. Found that the drain hose underneath sink was kinked. Whoever installed had rubber hose extension and over time kinked. There is enough hose to go from dishwasher to drain. I removed rubber hose and straight into drain. Ran diagnostics test and dishwasher completed and drained with no errors. Dishwasher is working good.

As soon as i plug it in the drain pump runs. I went into diagnostics and getting control board error and long fill/over flow error. There is service bulletin that the pressure hose on tub can get plugged. I made sure it was clear and washer still doing same thing. It will drain while trying to start cycle so it drains as its filling. Bad control board. Estimate is $405.81 (on top of the trip Charge)Customer is upset it is so expensive and said the trip charge was waste of money and declined to fix it. I told her to call office if she changes her mind.Control board w11170317 would need to be ordered.
