Also on these front loads, just opening the door when its wet will cause water to run down the front. Washer is operating normal and not leaking."

"Customer complaint is, NOT COMPLETELY CLEANING AND NOT DRAINING AND SMELLS BAD. BLACK SPECKS ON DISHES. Inspected and tested. Found the drain hose is really long and changes to a rubber hose and then theres a goofy fitting at the garbage disposal thats made out of rubber that is restricting flow and I found a lot of buildup there. I showed this to the customer and recommended they replace the rubber hose with a plastic extension hose and eliminate the extra fitting at the garbage disposal. Also when I ran water in the sink it was backing up into the sink because the garbage disposal was plugged. I showed this to the customer and told them its really important to keep the garbage disposal clear, otherwise the dishwasher cant drain fully. I cleaned out drain hose and ran dishwasher for over 20 minutes and it was working and draining great. Dishwasher is operating normal."

Customer had a flood due to a frozen valve. Upon arrival and inspection I found a plumber had previously been on site and had isolated the waterlines so the leaking would not continue. I pulled the front off of the machine and found the inside thoroughly clean but the motor was very loud. I put unit back together and tested it and it heat and ran. I inspected the vent outside the home and found lint had held it open and caused the water valve to freeze in the dryer causing the flood and failure. I recommended the customer replace the vent on the outside of his house and left suggestions. I cleaned the flapper on the exterior of the house thoroughly until I got it to close properly. The customer has decided to replace unit not to continue using this one. See attached pictures. The customer noted very cold temperatures in the laundry room so much so that they close the door and isolated it because it was making the home cold. I find the cause of the failure was a failed exterior vent flap that caused the water valve to freeze in the dryer.

"Customers complaint with the washer is that it only fills with hot water, it does not drain, and it wont go into the spin cycle on any of the three options. Upon arrival and inspection I found the event is located underneath cabinetry. The lid is missing from the unit. This is also two of the dryer. I mentioned this to customer and made sure they realize the implications of that. I tested dryer and all three wash options and could not get unit to spin out. The spin cycle does not engage. Customer mentioned that they had a membrane rupture from their water softener and it is likely that it is resin beads in the filter before the cold water valve causing this issue. I also noticed while on site that the drain pump is failing and is very loud. Upon arrival and inspection I verified that the seals that I previously put back in place were working and in place and they were great. I looked at the tub again and found it to be irregular and I believe the cause of the leaking moisture and overflow errors. There are many contact points on the door where it is hit racks and there has been rack interference. "We verified with the customer the issue that at times the washer will sit with 000 on the display and not finish the final spin. The only error codes in the history were for the door not being opened in between cycles. We ran a test cycle and it completed the test cycle with no errors. We then ran a quick wash with a small load that the customer provided. The washer did spin and finished the quick wash with no issues. We did not find any issues with the basket or bearings, everything was tight and normal. We advised the customer that its most likely a load balance issue and may need to add more items to help distribute the weight more evenly. The washer is having trouble distributing the clothes on the final spin but not every time. The customer would like the main control board replaced to see if it fixes the issue. ; states that autho needed"

"Customer complained that often the door doesnt seem to close right and their convection fans are very loud. Upon arrival and inspection I found the door issue was just a little bit of over spilled food that had crusted up the door gasket causing it not to close completely. There are three convection fans and two of them are making a bad noise without a doubt and a third that makes a vibration. The main convection fan with the large blade I could find the part number for it is DG96-00110E which is also the same as part number DG31-00005A. I called Marcone but I could not find the part number for the two secondary for fan assemblies. Please research and see if you can find out the part numbers for the two smaller fans motors. I for sure need the main fan which the part number is above and one secondary motors, I recommend we change all three as the third one as it is not rotating smoothly and its very likely it is a cause of a vibration that I hear but cannot differentiate.; ordrng 1 DG96-00110E (Convection fan main)"
