Customers complaint was foam coming out the front of the machine. Found water In the unit because they just shut it down. Start up the unit and was a huge foam party inside the unit. Used some vegetable oil to cut down the suds took quite a bit to get it clean out. I never had the unit leak on me. The motor was louder then normal on this unit. They are using cascade platinum packets. Which I let the landlord know those have been a big issue. Because the motor was loud I checked under the unit and found that it was leaking and dripping at the dishwasher motor. Wasnt much but still was dripping. Showed the home owner. The customer complaint was when she was using the oven smoke started to bellow out the vent and the right side of the range. I pulled the range out and removed the cooktop and right side panel. The insulation looked ok and I found nothing that was burning. I could see where the smoke was coming from. I could find was a little greasy spot on the right side of the liner. I advised the customer to run the oven at a higher heat on convection until the greasy spots burn off.

"The customer said the dishwasher would not drain. I found a lot of water in the dishwasher. When I started the cycle the dishwasher started the drain and it ran until all the water was drained out. The customer said it has been fixed 3-4 times already. He said the main control board, the water valve and door seal have been replaced. I did a fill and drain 3 times. The dishwasher is draining just fine. The dishwasher drain hose was connected to a y fitting then hooked to the disposal. The R/O system drains into the y and disposal. I advised the customer that I have seen before wheres that water from the R/O drains back down the drain hose into the dishwasher. The t connector was not completely vertical and the drain hose was angling down from the disposal. I straightened the white connector and raised the drain hose. I advise the customer to have the RO people come out and verify its installed properly ."

A few moments later the freezer light started to flicker. The freezer light switch seems a bit touchy and the led in the freezer is dim. I removed the evaporator cover and found excessive frost buildup around the fan, but not the evaporator. Frosted up not cooling. I Tested the defrost system and it worked great. I checked the door seals and follow the instructions on the service bulletin for this problem. It appears there just is too much moisture in the system they will need to hard defrost it and it should recover fine. I took the dryer part and I tested the heating element and found that it was bad. Replaced the heating element and vacuumed up all the lint inside. I test the airflow outside, but it was higher than 10 feet. I can tell the air flow was poor because the flap was not staying wide open. "Customer concerned about radiation and that its not heating right. She had microwaved blueberries and they didnt defrost like they normally do. Per the tech manual, I filled a 16 oz measuring cup of water and measured temp with thermocouple. 72 degrees. Then ran it on high for 1 minute. 107 degrees. Did this three times. 35 degree difference which the manual says it should be between 22 and 45 degree difference. Customer was concerned that it isnt working right still, and expected more tests than that. Ended up consulting with RJ. I pulled the double unit out with my oven cart, took it apart, and measured wattage and amp draw. 1783 watts and 14.8 amps. Perfect output on high side by transformer. Sounds good.
