"This was a new issue not related to the part I replaced. The customer said it worked after I replaced the part then went on vacation. When they came back and tried it, it would not finish the spin cycle. All the water drained out it just would not spin. I put into a test mode and it does spin. The drain pump is also working good. The active fault said it was not draining all the water out. I removed the board and the pressure hose from the board. I blew hard into the pressure hose. I found the hose was blocked. I cleared the pressure hose and hooked it back up. I tried the spin again and now its working good. I did not charge the customer today. If it continues it will need a new hose. Please quote for the parts and labor to replace the hose. Pressure hose WH41X26995"

The customer complaint is water is pooling down at the bottom under crispers. I looked over the work that was done. The foam on the evap cover is saturated. The drain is frozen over again. I advised the customer the cover should be replaced. Today I replaced the fresh food evaporator cover. I put into defrost and verified the heater comes on. The defrost drain was not plugged. I pubescent the defrost sensor closer to the evaporator. There were a few cracks in the plastic liner. I put some silicone glue over the cracks. I cleaned up all the water in the bottom. I raised the front feet just a little so the door can close tight. That will also help the water drain faster. I made sure energy saver is off. Temps are set to 0 and 38. I replaced the water filter for the customer and reset the reminder.

The customers concern was the fridge is freezing items up on the top shelf by the air valve. Upon arrival in inspection I found the air valve was working properly so I put it into a forest defrost and cleared evaporator of moisture. I watch the evaporator with the door open for 20 minutes and completed a sealed system test. Evaporator only frosted up 1/4 of the evaporator the rest was bare metal. This refrigerator has a failing sales system and its running long amount of time to keep up with the temperature demands. I notified the customer and they will make plans accordingly.

"Customer said about a week later the fresh food section start warming up. The customer remove the panel and found the evaporator was frosted over again. I test the temp sensor, it did test ok but I replaced it anyways. The heater is testing good every time. I put it into defrost mode and the heater was drawing 3.6 amps. In the fault mode the light indicating 9 was on. According to the tech sheet that is a faulty defrost sensor. I do get 5 volts dc to the sensor. If the issue continues it has to be a main wire issue in the cabinet and its not repairable."

Unit was making loud squeaky noise. Right way would make the noise. Even if I spun by hand. Removed the rotor from underneath and found a bunch of metal debris and little metal balls from a ball bearing. The stator and rotor both have some damage from the metal but looks usable. Would need to replace the bearing on the washer though. Customer said its over a 10 year unit so they dont want to put money in to it

The customer complaint was the washer is leaking from underneath. I tipped it back and saw evidence of water leaking from transmission area. I spun the basket by hand and it roared. "Customer complaint is, Error code and unit beeping. Inspected and tested. FF compartment temperature was 38F, freezer was 0F and ice maker compartment was only 24F. When you open the flex drawer you get a E6 error. I called tech line and he told me its a communication error, probably with the wiring for the flex drawer. Also said this could very likely be are ice maker issue. I removed the flex drawer and found the wiring harness has failed and some of the wires are split. Needs the flex drawer wiring harness. Installed new flex drawer wiring harness and new ice maker. Refrigerator is now fixed."

Unit wasnt cooling. Found that everything seamed to be working properly. Fans were running. Lights are on. Controls work. Pulled unit out and found that the compressor isnt running. Found when I tested the compressor it was good. I found the control board had failed which is common on this model. Replaced the control board and compressor started right up again. Let unit run for about 15 minutes and could feel it start cooling. Installed WR55X10942 from truck stock; used 1 WR55X10942 (CONTROL BOARD - MAIN) from stock

The customers concern was it sounded like the compressor wanted to start but it wouldnt start every once again. Upon arrival and inspection I plug the fridge in and heard exactly that the compressor would try to start but it would not kick off. I hooked up a hard start device to test and compressor did kick off but has a slight noise. I spoke with the customer and he has decided to move ahead and install a hard start device understanding that this is a Band-Aid solution for him. The fridge began cooling instantly and I watched temperature dropped 10?F in under 20 minutes. The refrigerator is now cooling. ; used 1 URCO410 (START KIT) from stock

The customer complaint was the refrigerator temperature started to go up slowly. When I arrived the customer had the refrigerator shut off. He turned the refrigerator back on and it started cool. The compressor is running but its not cooling down. I removed the rear panel and found just a little frost in the evaporator. I waited a while and no frost a accumulated on the evaporator. It has a sealed system leak. I also found the bottom under the evaporator rusting and the door gasket is ripped. The customer will reach out to Frigidaire.

The customer complaint was frost is forming around the freezer door and basket. I noticed the top of the freezer door was not sealing tight. I removed the freezer door and reinstalled making sure it was all installed correctly. I heated up the gasket and pushed on the freezer door. I raised the front leveling legs so the unit leans back and gravity helps to keep the door sealed tight. I did follow the steps per the service pointer. The service kit that is recommended is actually for frost on the ice maker compartment and the back wall. That kit probably wouldnt fix the frost in the freezer issue. It may need a gasket or bottom door bin. Im hoping what I did today helps. I advised the customer this can be a pain to trouble shoot.
