Notes from real Omega Force service calls: the appliance, the problem we found and how we fixed it.

Model FFTR1835VBA
Refrigerator not cooling at all, room temperature. Found that the defrost timer is locked up and stuck in defrost mode. Replaced defrost timer, tested and refrigerator compressor and fans turn on and are running. Refrigerator is cooling and working well now.

While heating broil element is on even when selecting bake. During preheat both elements go on but once up to temp the bake element is the only element on. I explained this normal durning preheat it will use broil to heat faster

Dryer running loud and for a while was giving an E6 error. It was an error related to communication. Customer had taken off the bottom panel and check the connections on the board and it hasnt done the error since then. I found too bad support rollers and a bad pulley. As well as two front glides that were worn down and lots of lint. I vacuumed out the lint and replaced the rollers and glides and pulley and belt with the kit that we carry. Now it runs nice and quiet.

Display not working. Tuned off breaker to fridge. Removed the display board. Found a bad capacitor was completely off. Replaced the display board. Once installed tested multiple times and all features are working.

Complaint is that unit is not cooling. Found open compressor Windings. Replaced compressor and unit is now operating properly.

Installed new pump because after taking the part drain pump impeller Failed mechanically installed with truck stock drain pump verified and diagnostics no error codes or leaks coming from installation. Unit is working great done.

Upon inspection of fridge was dead lights on verified its a bad defrost timer replace defrost timer, advanced it in the cycle done working great

Customer stated the fan in the fresh food compartment was making noises, removed the shelfs and the back cover found the fan was hit and ice build up, quoted the customer a defrost heater, drain tube kit and sensor update, customer approved. Installed the parts made sure the heater worked as it should.
