But due to costs of parts it is not cost effective to repair. Customer complains that unit leaks and leaves a residue on the dishes. Upon arrival an inspection I found a buildup of minerals in the unit. I ran it on the rinse cycle in a began leaking from the inlet port. I tightened the inlet part and cleaned up the water and watched it through the rinse cycle. The leak stopped. The drain drain well I watched a drain three separate times. The dishwasher appears to be working as designed. Note I did advise customer to use a citric acid base cleaner after his water softener arrives to clean up the mineral buildup. no additional charge at this time.

I took apart door and inspected UI and main board and they looked good. Reassembled and now its working. I ran dishwasher through service diagnostics mode and everything was working great. There was a stored UI stuck key error. Cleared error and everything is working great. Dishwasher is working normal now. If it does it again. I think we should order the UI control panel before we come back. part number is W11395600. I think we should order the jumper harness to if we go back. Part number W10792164."

We verified the is error code on the display. The is is the error for the ice maker sensor. We tested the sensor from the rear board and is read 0 continuity. We replaced the ice maker. The dispenser does dispense water and the auger cycled. Advised the customer to give it 24 hours to make ice. If the problem continues then according to the LG manual the issue is in the wiring and the whole unit will need to be replaced.

The customer said the oven light flickers when the door is opened after the oven has been on and the gfi outlet will trip. Also the oven will take a long time to heat up. We replaced the bake ignitor. The oven heats up good. We we plugged the range into a non-GFI outlet and it was not tripping circuit breaker.
