Replaced bad Icemaker. Cycled. Should work great now.

The complaint is the dryer does not heat at all. I verified on time dry the dryer does not heat. We pulled the front off and found the blue wire connector to the heater is short and not connected. I cut the wire back and installed a new connector. The new connector has a clip so it does not move. We put it back together and now it heats.

The customer said the washer makes a slapping sound during the spin cycle. We put a load of clothes in the washer and ran a rinse and spin. The washer ran the whole cycle and sounded normal. We ran the washer again and it still sounded normal. I removed the lower panel and found the tech sheet panel was loose and hitting the shocks. I pulled the tech sheet off and tucked behind the motor control board. I did not find any other issues.

"Doesnt agitate. Found the transmission has rusted through the bottom, and the plate is connected to the transmission and I cant get it off. Ended up spending an hour tightening the bolt for the agitator plate. Used locktit too. Agitates great now."

"Found that the igniter is weak for the tarp oven bake and wont turn on the gas to heat oven causing it to give F9 (no heat) error. Customer approved estimate. Replaced igniter, tested and bake turns on and oven preheated and is working good.

Found that the idler wheel is worn. Replaced idler with new redesigned part. Tested and dryer is quiet and working good.

Installed new slide kit. Once installed tested unit was better but still was some play in the belt. Replaced the belts also. Now unit is working properly. Agitates properly and spins out. Unit is miss all 4 leveling legs did my best.

"Customer complaint is, LOUD NOISE NEAR THE END AND NOT CLEANING WELL. Inspected and tested. Found the circulation pump gets loud further into the cycle. Customer approved repairs. Installed new circulation pump and tested. Dishwasher sounds great. Dishwasher is now fixed.

The customer said the ice maker does not make ice. I found ice maker bailing arm was pulled out the ice maker module. I pushed the arm back in and it started the harvest. It dumped the ice and filled with water. No more issues found. I showed the customer how to reset the filter status.

Clock broke off panel and shorted and tripped the GFCI outlet. I reset gfi outlet and range cooktop sparks and oven is heating. Clock is not needed for function of range. they will use without clock. I showed customer.No additional charge to reset gfi.

Found that hot gas coils are bad and will stop turning on gas to heat. Customer approved estimate. Replaced gas coils and cleaned out inside dryer of lint build up. Tested and dryer is heating and working good.

"Water flowing slowly out of dispenser and ice maker making small cubes. Made sure no saddle valve. Found a kinked line. Taped a stint around the line so that it wouldnt kink again and taped line to back of fridge. Also found insulation breaking down behind fridge and moisture coming through. Explained no fix for that, and that will also cause water to partially freeze and slow down."

"Customer complaint is, REALLY SQUEALING. Inspected and tested. Found the idler pulley is failing and is squealing. Customer approved repairs. Installed new idler pulley and vacuumed out inside of dryer. Tested and dryer sounds great. Dryer is now fixed.

Found that Lid plastic broke at the hinges and lid wont shut. Needs whole new lid. I added zip ties so that the customer could use it in the meanwhile. Call and get autho for Lid.Once approved order part and reschedule customer.Lid part# W11259006; saved tckt

"Tenant says was leaking a lot of water from underneath washer. Ran test and found that when it drains into wash tub the water backs up and comes out of the floor drain not the washer.Office: please notify that it needs a plumber.; saved tckt , states that autho needed"

"Tenant wasnt here. I waited 25 minutes. Spoke with owner, she couldnt reach tenant. We rescheduled for Friday afternoon: if that doesnt work for some reason, please call her to reschedule. ; schdld next appmnt for 11/10 FRI PM, states that autho needed"

"Redo. There are no stored error codes. I then put it into service mode and did test 012 which is the quick service cycle. It never spun 820. It did a slow spin. Then it finished the quick service cycle and there were no error codes. I took it out of test mode and put back into test mode, and doubled checked. No errors. Now I have it on a drain and spin cycle and it spins way faster. Ran it on a 17 minute spin and drain cycle and it went all the way through and spun great, no water left in washer. Quoted for new main PCB. Told them that it would be $100 less if they had the dryer down before I came to install the board. But also that its working fine for me, except for it doing a low spin in test mode but not a high speed spin. No error codes though. ; saved tckt"

The customer said the ice maker was making a noise then stopped making ice. We replaced the ice maker and parts sent. I reset the power so the board works with the new ice maker.

Dishwasher getting F11 error and will fill then drain and wont advance. Found that the pressure sensor tube was clogged with hard water and grease gunk. Was able to clean from inside and dishwasher now fills and advances cycle normally. Suggested customer get their soft water system checked out because there is a lot of hard water build up. Also told customer to use the finish dishwasher cleaner to really clean inside of the dishwasher.Dishwasher is working good.

Found that the chopper blade is broke and food blocked filter and prevent pump from pushing water. Customer approved estimate. Replaced chopper blade. Tested and dishwasher now is washing and spray arms spinning. Dishwasher is working good.

Customers complaint door handle is busted. Found the right side is busted where the handle mounts the welds busted. Replaced handle. I explained to the customer also if it comes loose just snug it because you will break it if you over tighten

Door boot is bad. Removed and replaced with new. Did from the front with out removed the unit from under the cabinet and it is a drain pan. Once install tested multiplied times for leaks through all features. Everything is working properly

"Customer complaint was the wheels on the lower rack were broken and the soap dispenser lid was broken off the soap dispenser. Replaced all 4 wheels on the lower rack, installed new soap dispenser, checked for codes(none) cycled and tested machine."

"Returned, pulled washer out. Removed the back cover, replaced the board. Cycled and tested the drum now turns, the machine is working as it should"

"Replaced bad burner, and took his old vent hood since he doesnt need it anymore. It doesnt work. Ill dispose of it. Cook top works great now."

Unit giving error code for bad drain. Went through test mode unit has a really week drain. Removed the back of the unit. Drained the remainder of water removed the filter and found 5 articles of clothing. Removed clothing and cleaned filter. Reassembled and testing unit is working great and no leaks

The washer does not agitate well. The agitator dogs are worn out. I replaced the dogs and tested the washer. It now washes well and drains and spins.

Installed new seal. Let unit run for 30 minutes no leaks. Reassembled and now unit is working properly

Installed pressure switch from last diagnosis. Once installed tested multiple times. Works great. No leaks. Reassembled unit installed back to original location.

"Found that the gas to dryer was turned off. Turned on gas and dryer is heating and working good.I did replace flex venting with rigid. Tested and dryer is heating and working good.

"Icemaker stopped mid harvest. Replaced Icemaker.

We used all parts and repaired the dispenser assembly. The ice now dispenses out the door and dispenses water.

Customers complaint door not shutting properly and setting off alarm. Found the door rubbing on the side of the cabinet. First thing I did removed the toe kick panel. Found the right side which its leaning towards is light sinking. Raisied the right foot and now the door isnt rubbing. Found that the door panel it self is coming off tried my best to adjust. Also have a code for the check condenser. Called tech line. He explained how to clear. Its a once a year reminder. Hold enter for five seconds. Explained this to customer.

The customer said when the refrigerator turns and turns off it makes a loud popping sound. When we arrived the refrigerator was running and it sounded quiet. We turned it off and let sit 10 minutes. We turned it back on and the compressor started and all the fans. It still sounds good. I pulled the fridge out and removed the rear cover. I found nothing hitting or rubbing. From what the customer described it sounds like flashing. I explained how flashing works and the different noises he can hear with the R600 refrigerant.

Customer complaint is the washer will shut off halfway during the cycle right before spin and displays the OE fault code. The OE fault code indicates a drain issue. The customer said the washer is draining all the water out every time just wont spin. We ran diagnostics a couple times filled the machine all the way to the top and ran the drain and the drain pump is working great every time no issues. We diagnosed that it would need a new main control board. We gave the customer a quote for the repair and at this time the customer declined the repair.

Replaced water valve and pressure sensor. Tested and washer fills and no more errors. Washer is running and working good.

Making a horrible sound. Sounds like someone scratching their nails on a chalk board. The sound reverberates throughout the condo. Found the cover on top of the dryer was bent down and the drum was rubbing up on it. I took off the cover and bent it back into place. Now it runs great and sounds super quiet.

"Replaced bad main PCB and door gasket and bottom door gasket wiper. Ran it, no leaks now. Drains great. Drain line is looped up high how its supposed to be. Old bottom wiper seal was deformed and old door gasket was compressed in all the way. Also raised front of dishwasher higher so that its level and not tipped forward."

"Installed refurbished main PCB. Ran it on bake with it set to 350, and it cycled great. Did not have runaway temps."

Unit not cooling. Hooked up gauges. Got about -15 and 90psi for the high. So showing high leak or restrictions. Unplugged unit and getting about 20psi equalized. Definitely a leak. Pressurized to 200 psi. And checked with uv light but no luck. Removed evap cover same. Used the leak sniffer. It goes off in the freezer. Double checked the evap nothing even with the sniffer. Next checked heat exchange and found on the right side it goes off disassembled the cover around heat exchanger and have dye where it goes behind the cabinet. Talked with Phil. He said if customer is ok with it we could bypass the heat exchanger. Customer is on the fence. Please have Phil call the customer. If we do the repair. Let get a evap and condenser also just to be safe. ; saved tckt

Display is dead. Checked power at outlet getting 120. Removed the control board. Checked the fuse one the noise board. Still good. Checked voltage at the board only 5. So have something bad before. Following the wiring found the thermostat on the mag was bad replaced that reassembled everything lighted up and was working tested microwave and found the mag not working everything else working properly. Tested mag its bad customer will need a mag and thermostat. Customer has a warranty through sears. Will need a quote. If we can said an invoice for one OE and one from global for mags. OE MAG. "Replaced bad flow sensor board and bad flow meter. Still gives e2 error. Fills up quick. Took waterline off. Checked water pressure. Good water pressure, but noticed that the water continues to come back into the dishwasher when its not running. Has a bad water valve. Also spoke with Beko tech support. They said since the connector for the water flow sensor appears to be broken, that we need to order a new connector/harness that connects to the water flow sensor. Its two purple wires connected to the connector. On the left side of the dishwasher. They also said to come back with a new main PCB. DW can you please locate those part numbers? "The dishwasher has been leaking underneath. Ended up finding a leaking wash motor and supposedly. Quoted for new sump assembly and wash motor. Pulled out the dishwasher so that the customer could take pictures of the floor underneath the dishwasher and so that it will be easier for a contractor to fix their floor. Once the floor is fixed, they will call us to have us come back and install the wash motor assembly.; ordrd 1 W10917110 (Motor and sump assembly)"

"Fridge has been leaking water from the right front. Found the evaporator drain was frozen over. Streamed out drain, and steamed all the ice out of the bottom of the freezer. Drains great now."

"Customer complaint was the drum not turning.Found the unit turned on without the drum spinning. Removed covers found belt was broken. Customer approved new roller belt kit. Installed new belt cycled and tested unit working correctly.

Installed new display and seal from last diagnosis. Once installed. Tested multiple times for leaks and making sure all operation are working. Now unit is working properly.

"Installed evap fan from last diagnosis. Once installed tested and its working great. Reassembled unit made sure everything was working properly and all setting are correct.

The whole unit stopped cooling. We verified the compressor had failed. I removed the old compressor and installed the new compressor. I also replaced the filter drier and updated the board. I leaked checked the system and purged with nitrogen. I pulled and deep vacuum then recharged with 4.7 ounces of 134a. I advised the customer to wait 6-8 hours for the unit to cool.

We replaced the door switch brackets and switches. We tested the microwave several times and now its working great.

"Cusotmer said that it leaks water all over the place. She had just cleaned out the drain trap and it was cross threaded and was leaking out water from there. Made sure it was screwed in all the way, tested and washer is working good.

"Found that the bake igniter is open a nd not getting hot. Customer approved estimate. Replaced igniter, tested and oven preheated and is working good.Customer also complained about gas smell for years when using oven. They had tinfoil on bottom and was covering vents. I explained that could cause poor burning as it needs those vents for correct oxygen to burn cleanly.I replaced igniter, tested and no gas smell when using bake as im here. Oven is heating and working good.

"Customer stated the dryer made loud noises after it had ran for a while. Removed the covers found the idler pulley was not spinning. Customer approved a new pulley kit. Installed new pulleys, belt and idler pulley. Cleaned out unit. Reassembled cycled and tested. We tested the air flow outside. The outside air flow was around 8 mph. We brushed the duct from the outside. The new airflow was 13 mph. The run is long and has serval elbows.

Found that the door strike is slipping blow the latch and not locking. The plastic tub is bowing when door is shut and not flush to the bottom of the countertop. I added shims to prevent the bowing and explained to customer the issue and since feet are already raised they would had to add some trim to make sure its flush with the bottom of countertop to prevent this issue. I explained the issue and since its a granite countertop I couldnt screw into and to a permanent solution is to glue trip to ensure it wouldnt move or the dishwasher tub would have to be replaced. But the shims are secure and door is opening and closing and latching. Dishwasher is running and working good.

"Oven was sparking behind the control panel. Found two hot surface lights that had become loose and slid through the holes, and the terminals behind them were touching metal and sparked. We used tiny metal washers to secure the lights, and now they are super secure and it doesnt spark on bake anymore. Works great."

Replaced bad boards. Works great now and bake and broil.

"Complaint is that the fresh food section will sometimes get too cold, once or twice a month and freeze veggies. We took temps in freezer and fresh food. 3 in freezer and 37 in fresh food. Set to 1 and 37 and theyve never changed the settings. No service bulletins. Called GE and they said that the temp sensor in the upper left corner cant be blocked or have food around it. We found lots of food around it. And they said to be sure not to keep food by the air tower in the back, and to only keep veggies in the two crisper drawers. Everything checks out good. Cant plug a newfi into this fridge. We ended up putting Solicon sealant around seal that connects in door Icemaker to cabinet, and also around loose gasket on bottom of air tower. Both of those could contribute to issue.

Customer showed me video of loud vibration from washer with load of sheets. I found that the motor cover underneath washer was missing bolt and was hanging off so any vibration would make that rattle. I secured covered and ran test with the same load and washer ran quiet and is working good as im here.

"Replaced the flipper kit that has the new receiver. Working good now.

The customer complaint is that it makes ice it just does not dispense ice out the door. The auger is jammed and will not spin. We found water is sprayed out from the fill tube again. We removed the ice maker and adjusted the fill tube so its sitting further into the ice maker cup. We cycled the ice maker again and it did not leak out the back.

"Customer complaint is, ALARMS ARE GOING OFF. IT IS MAKING ICE. WONT DISP ICE OR WATER. Inspected and tested. Found the right FF door switch is flaky and only sometimes working. Customer approved repair. Installed new right FF door switch and tested. Refrigerator is now fixed."

Verified diagnosis it was a bad compressor. Removed the old compressor and filter. Installed compressor. Purged system. Installed one side of filter purged to make sure its flowing through both sides. Finished the dryer filter. Pressured to 200 held with blue bubbles for 5 minutes while I updated board. All good. Vacuumed unit down under 300 microns. Filled to factory recommendation. Let unit run while cleaning up. Unit is operating correctly.

"Customers complaint. THE ICE MAKER IS NOT WORKING, THE EVAP MOTOR SEEMS TO BE LOUD WHEN CLOSING ON THE REF SIDE. There is ice building up around evap fan. Needs the heater and drain kit. Also ice maker freezes up. Found cavity of the ice maker box is all warped and coming in done will need approve for repairs any farther. Didnt install ice maker kit unless we know if they will approve ice box. Customer said its been like that since he moved in. I cant find the part one sears; saved tckt"

Unit leaking. Customer said unit is leaking will come back after and it will be flooded randomly. Checked over unit ran all valves and is working properly no leaks. Filled unit full and spun out and drain fine no leaks. Customer then said she has been turning the water off because will come back and water is filling the tub. So the valve is getting stuck open. "Fridge has been making a knocking sound starting a month ago. Called Beko tech support. We found a broken Icemaker. Temp sensor is hanging down, which causes it to do funny things, like harvest ice before its cold enough to freeze the cubes. So cubes are all melted together. In test mode we checked temps and they are all perfect for both fz and ff sensors. When taking out of test mode, the icemaker moved and made the knocking sound. Quoted for new Icemaker, customer approved. "Not heating and has been buzzing louder and louder. Replaced magnetron, now it heats, but still buzzes. Replaced diode and capacitor but still buzzes. Needs transformer. Customer said they would be happy replacing this microwave as its 13 years old. Found that the ice maker was shut off when I got here. Customer said that it hasnt worked in years. I turned on ice maker and ran test. Ice maker cycles and fills. I told her that I would have the office call back in 24 hours and check to see if there is ice in the ice bucket. Unit leaking out the front. Sometimes nothing sometimes enough for a hand towel. Inspected boot. Found a small hole. Installed part and tested multiple times for leaks. Unit is working great

Another company was here EMT appliance and diagnosed a bad compressor. They added a bullet valve. Equal pressure at 45 and not cooling at all. Found a bad compressor. Removed the old compressor and filter. Installed compressor. Purged system. Installed one side of filter purged to make sure its flowing through both sides. Finished the dryer filter. Pressured to 200 held with blue bubbles for 5 minutes while I updated board. All good. Vacuumed unit down under 300 microns. Filled to factory recommendation. Let unit run while cleaning up. Unit is operating correctly

Replaced bad main wash motor/heat pump today. Runs great now. Washes great. Heats great.

Customer said that when he used broil he smelled burning and the range tripped the breaker. Customer did say that they were baking break and it did rise and hit the top of the broil pan. As Im here the broil comes on and is heating and looks to have burned off any food that was on the broil top. I pulled out range checked igniter to make sure there is no short and it looks good. Customer said it hasnt popped the beaker since that one time. I cannot find issue as to why it did but as im here all functions are working good.Customer will use as normal and call back if they continue to have problems.

Not cooling. Found the evaporator had no frost. Fans running. Then saw the compressor not running. Verified 120 vac coming to inverter board. Quoted for new inverter board and told customer either inverter board or bad compressor. Replaced inverter after they said to go ahead and try. Compressor immediately came on. Starting to cool. Told customer 24 hours to get down to temp.

Not draining well. Replaced bad drain pump. Drains great now.

Found that the igniter is open and not getting hot. Customer approved estimate. Replaced igniter. Tested and oven pre heated and is working good.

Washer not draining. Found that there was a sock and debris that was stuck in drain pump filter blocking water flow. Removed debris and suggested to customer to use garment bag for smaller items to prevent this issue from happening again. Tested and washer now drains and is working good.

"Replaced bad splutch, belt and shield. Runs great now."

Customer says dryer shuts off after 2 seconds of starting it. As i got here the breaker to the dryer was off. I turned on breaker and dryer turns on and is cycling heat normally for over 20 minutes. I pulled out dryer and checked all connections and nothing is shorted. Dont know if its breaker issue since dryer is running and working good as im here.They will use as normal and call back if problem continues.

Dishwasher not turning on and stopped mid cycle full of water inside. There is power going to board but UI does nothing. I plugged in GE tool and it did connect saying UI error and drain pump error. I went into test and turned on pump and no power goes to pump but i can hear relay click. Also the pump motor does not run when testing. Water valve does work. The control board and user interface needs to be replaced. Order drain pump incase.Submit for autho? "Customer said that oven has never really worked correctly. Sometimes it will not preheat and other times it will heat but then stop heating the oven. Also customer said temperature is not correct to what it is set at. Customer said problem is intermittent.While im here i tested at 350 degrees and my thermometer is correct at what it is set at.But customer wants parts changed that has to do with heating problems. Would need control board and temp probe.Customer said that he talked to owner of Warner Stallion and that they would cover the parts? And customer said that he talked to Phil? "Today we replaced the heating element assembly and the heater harness wire. The rear duct was off it when we arrived. We left the duct off because the dryer duct needs to be cleaned. "The washer is leaking and will not spin or anything. I found the agitator dogs are broken, water is leaking from the drain pump, the transmission is loud and the basket does not turn freely. It will need the agitator dogs, motor coupler, drain pump, transmission, clutch and brake tube. I called the manager and gave the quote. Sounds like they will replace the washer. Getting H20 error and wont start. Found that there was a lot of crud built up in the pressure sensor. Cleaned it but still getting error. Customer wants to replace water valve as well. Ordering parts and rescheduling.; ordrd 1 WD21X25468 (Pessure sensor) and 1 WD15X26078 (Water valve)

Customer is concerned that one time she heard squealing a cricket noises coming from freezer. Also she has been keeping record of temperature and is lower than what the manual says that it should be when set on average.This is a new freezer that was shipped to her by Danby to replace her other freezer. This model has the evaporator coils inside the shelves and is not frost free freezer.Set at 3.5 at cold control should be about 0 to -2 degrees based on manual. she has recorded that it is getting to -8 to -10. I explained that it might read colder because the evaporator is part of the shelf and if you lay thermometer on the shelf it will be colder than the air temperature.She also said that the freezer shuts off before it is at temperature.Only thing that controls the compressor on this model is the cold control.I did not hear anything weird or abnormal noises as im here looking at it. It was at -2 based on her thermostat she using.If it was intermittent or out of range of temperatures the cold control would need to be replaced.But I also explained that since its is currently in the garage the ambient temperature could also affect the freezer.I dont see anything wrong as im here. From what im seeing is that the customer is obsessing and constantly looking at the freezer and listening it and taking temperature readings. I dont know that if we replaced any part that we would be coming back over and over because she will find something that is not right about it. I dont want to get stuck in cycle to where I am being continuous redos for something that is working as intended for this non-frost free freezer.But if we have to replace a part based on intermittent issues we will need to replace the cold control. Please search part and see if Danby will authorize it. NOTE: this is new freezer delivered by Danby over the summer and she has been unplugging and plugging it in to monitor it for months to make sure that it is working.; saved tckt

"Still not progressing. Needs either the MEM sensor or the main PCB. Troubleshooted this with FW. 8C1 error. Most likely main PCB, but would first install sensor and see if that fixes it. Damper will not close and is stuck open and freezing food. In refrigerator side. Needs new damper. Called contact and sent her pictures. They will call office with approval and parts will need to be ordered and tenant rescheduled.Needs damper part # 242303001; saved tckt

"Customer says it is freezing foods, produce, eggs, milk even on separate shelves. Tenant said it started 2 weeks ago and has had to throw away food because they were frozen.As im here food is not frozen and I ran diagnostics to check damper and thermistors. All are fuctioning and working. Based on that, i would say the thermisor or control board is reading off by a bit to get cold enough to freeze foods sometimes.Customer said that refrigerator is less than 1 year old. They got it before Thanksgiving last year. Do want to move forward with repairing it or can we get GE to cover it dont know how we can prove if its less than one year.Model must be new enough to where i cant pull up parts break down from Dey or Sears part direct. Please search parts and contact with estimate. I need control board and freshfood thermistors. Installed new elements. Once installed tested and made sure both are working properly.

The washer/dryer does not dry the clothes all the way. We ran the dryer and it heats and the fan comes on but there was no air flow. We took the dryer condensation tower out and it was packed full of lint. The inlet to the washer was packed full of lint. We cleaned all the lint out the back and from the tower. I cleaned the fan blower cage. We ran the dryer function again and now there's heat inside the washer.

The basket is broken on the bottom so its loose and spin and shakes. They will just replace the whole washer.

"Customer complaint is, THINKS THE ELEMENT IS GOING OUT OF IT. Inspected and tested. Found the bake element is fried. Customer approved repairs. Installed new bake element and tested. Oven is heating great. Oven is now fixed."

Water leaks down from the ice maker and into the bucket. Today I pushed the ice maker test button. The ice maker cracked the ice and only most of it dumped out. There was still some ice in the mold when it fills back up. I removed the ice maker and cleaned all the ice out. I put the ice maker back in and ran the test again. The ice maker is filling with the correct amount of ice and water is not leaking from the fill tube.

Customer complaint is the start button is hard to use. On arrival the button for the start is missing. He said it was had to hit the start the button came off and been using without the button but sometimes its takes multiple trys to get it to start. Removed the display and found the bottom is connected to the board. The button and board were a little loose tightened up the board and mounting. Reassembled and tested. Its working properly. Explained he needs to get the button to help it from shifting.

Unit not cooling properly. Unit was running when I got there. Found my low side at 38. Unplugged unit while I got my supplies ready it equalized at 43psi. Which is good on this unit its smaller then most. looks like just bad compressor and no leak. Removed the old compressor and filter. Installed compressor. Purged system. Installed one side of filter purged to make sure its flowing through both sides. Finished the dryer filter. Pressured to 200 held with blue bubbles for 5 minutes while I updated board. All good. Vacuumed unit down under 300 microns. Filled to factory recommendation. Let unit run while cleaning up. Unit is operating correctly

Installed new board from last diagnosis. Once installed had to pull unit out and reinstall the broil cable that was off. Once that was all correct. Reassembled tested all the features top and bottom. Everything is working properly.
