"Customer complaint is, TURNS ON WATER GOES IN & IT JUST HUMS. Inspected and tested. Started washer with a load of clothes and it ran great for 20 minutes. I canceled and drained the washer and removed the drain filter. The drain pump impeller seems to be loose when its spinning. Washer did not fail for me, but I think the drain pump is sporadically failing. I cant find a exact model number for this washer on Sears, but if its the same pump as the Bosch, I think we can use the supco equivalent, part number LP6440. Customer is just going to use it and if it fails again will probably have us order the pump.; saved tckt"

"Customer complaint is, NOT DRYING PROPERLY. Inspected and tested. Found the dryer is heating, but spiked to 280F before I shut it off. The vent is 100% blocked on the outside. I removed the whole vent and cleaned it out and reassembled. Dryer is now heating great and cycling between 240F and 130F. The vent that goes through the wall is reduced to 3inch and should be replaced in the near future. I showed this to the customer and advised on replacing"

It was leaking out of the center of the motor assembly. The wash motor is very loud and full of calcium and rust. The door shuts very very hard. The door hinges are bent. It would need at least both door hinges, motor and the seal kit. The motor is no longer available so the customer will just replace it."

I let it run for a while and then did and drain and fill 4 times. I never saw water leaking. I advised the customer how to clean the dishwasher and what soap is recommended. I soaked up the water underneath. The water was a bit soapy.

I remove the drain pump and found the propeller was stripped off the motor shaft. I replaced the drain pump and reinstalled. My diagnosis is a bad pressure switch.Today I replaced the pressure switch and I also put a zip tie around the hose to the switch so it does not come loose. I pushed the dryer back and hooked up the dryer duct. I pushed the washer back into place and ran both washers and the dryer. Everything is working good."

"Customer complaints of the unit has made a loud noise when the fan ran or when the turntable spun for a while. Suddenly they began smelling an electrical burning smell and then the unit stopped working all together. Upon arrival and inspection I found a 12 year old whirlpool microwave. The outer skin of the door was cracked up and falling apart as well as when it was plugged in it had no display. I pulled the unit apart and as I moved the control board wiring I saw a large spark from the high-voltage side behind the fan assemblies. I could see many melted wires as well as a burnt up transformer. The door part needed is part number 8169641 in the color biscuit, 8169698- transformer, W10642989 - turntable motor, I could not find a wiring harness part number. This unit has burned up and is not a good repair in my opinion. ; saved tckt"

Dishwasher was filling with water so they stopped using it. Upon arrival and inspection I found that the plumbing was installed improperly and the dishwasher drained directly into the subfloor in a 1 1/2 inch pipe. I filled it and drained it five times and it drains flawlessly. I spoke with the customer and she has had pipe draining issues from that leg of her plumbing about the time the dishwasher was being backed up into. I explained how her plumbing system works and that her dishwasher is the lowest point on her main floor on that side of her house for plumbing. Its likely that it was just packing up due to a blockage that was cleared by her plumber. No additional charges.

"Customer complaint is, TRIPPING THE BREAKER. Inspected and tested. Refrigerator trips the breaker every time within a few seconds, even when plugged into a different outlet. When I unplug the evaporator heater it turns on and starts cooling. In test mode the heater is getting 120V but as soon as I plug it in, it trips the breaker. The heating element ohms out at 24ohms. It test good, but its the only thing thats tripping the breaker. I quoted customer $344. to install new heater. Customer approved repairs. Installed new heating element and tested. Refrigerator is now fixed."

The vent was disconnected before because it was stretched too far, lint was built up all over wall behind dryer and on floor. We swept and mopped all the lint up before moving the washer into that spot. Just charged trip charge."

Customers complaint is leaking out bottom of unit. Looked right way at back of unit and noticed out the vent it was wet and heavy evidence of leaking. Run unit multiple times with top off and didnt see any leak or evidence of a leak. Tilted unit back to check underneath all was dry. Showed customer and explained about using 2 tablespoons of soap. Also to do an extra rinse will help. No parts needed.

There are 2 issues. The fresh food section is not cooling and when they dispense ice there is a nocking sound from the dispenser. I found the diffuser door is not opening. Its getting voltage just not opening. The diffuser will need to be replaced. Something is causing the ice chute solenoid to chatter when ice is dispensed. Its either the dispenser assembly or the relay board. The user interface board does not appear to have relays in it. At this time the customer will not repair the dispenser issue. Part ordered from Sundberg. ; ordrd 1 241853801 (CONTROL - AIR BAFFLE)

"temps have gone up, and neither section cooling well. The freezer fan was loud. I removed the rear panel and found the fan blade had come off the motor shaft and was laying next to the motor. The motor shaft was rubbing against the fan blade. Today I replaced the fan blade and defrosted the evaporator. I also put a pipe around the ice maker fill tube half pipe. The tube was extra."

I started a load of towels on speed wash and after the first agitate cycle when it was changing over to spin it makes a nasty grinding noise. Its seems like its not completely changing over to spin and then grinding. When it does agitate or spin it sounds great. I think its probably the shifter on the transmission. "

"The customer complaint was fabric softener remains in the cup after the wash and sometimes they get a drain error. I removed the softener tray and cleaned with hot water. I used my steamer to try and clean the soap dispenser housing. The housing was full of soap build up and mold. I removed the drain filter and removed the debris. The drain pump is draining ok. The washer has seen better days. The panel is cracked, the top is loose and the gasket is full of mold. If the problem continues they would need a new drain pump assembly, soap dispenser assembly and possibly a new water valve assembly. I could not find a model tag to verify the model and serial number."

Unit wasnt cooling properly in the fresh food section of fridge. Bottom drawer would freeze and top would be warm. Hooked up SmartHQ and found the fresh food evap fan had fail. Which would cause this issue also customer had there LED lights out. Found there was on burnt out. Replaced bad parts which are listed below and reassembled and tested unit. Now unit is working properly. Installed wr55x11132 led light and wr60x26866 fan. Plus did the software update which is called for this unit with SmartHQ.

"Customer complaint is, WONT START-THINKS MOTOR LOCKS UP WHEN TRIED TO START DRYER. Customer said that it was tripping the breaker and its squealing intermittently. Inspected and tested. Found the dryer was running, but no heat. Disassembled and found the thermostat is fried. Also needs rear rollers. Quoted customer $400. to install new rollers and thermostat. Customer declined repairs for now and is going to look into replacing the washer and dryer with Speed Queens. There both 22 years old and customer has a Speed Queen set at the cabin and really likes them. Thermostat part number is WP3387137."
