Cleaned it all out with beach water after soaking it in the tub. Told customer to also run affresh through 4 loads. Runs and agitates great. Dryer not drying clothes well and not advancing on sensor dry. With no clothes I got it to advance on sensor dry, temps between 150 and 180. Needs vent cleaned. Will let office know."

Makes 3 noises and runs constantly. First noise is gas expansion noise in the fresh food section maybe moisture in the sealed system. Second is compressor start up knock metal on metal. Third is compressor at shut down metal on metal. The compressor is the culprit. The second and third noises will not go away and failure is eminent. I recommend she gets an EPA certified refrigeration technician on-site to replace the dryer and compressor. It is possible there is a small refrigeration leak and this is part of the gas expansion noise but this is outside my expertise it would have to be addressed by a EPA certified technician. I was physically able to confirm all three noises two of which will lead to the refrigeration sealed system failing.

Vent will need to be cleaned but if it keeps happening I informed customer that this model had a blower tubing service bulletin issue that would cause immature high limit metal to cut out too early.I informed customer of this but since its a kenmore I could not pull up the whirlpool service bulletin showing the fix.If customer calls back see if you can find the part number/kit for this issue for this model from whirlpool and give estimate for repair.This is the two belt model.

Washer would leak out the front. Ran few cycles to see if I could get unit to leak and wasnt able to. I was getting lots of suds even after filling and draining 3 times. There was evidence of water dripping down the back vent and water dripping out the front of the door. Boot had no tears and looked good. Doubled checked all the inlet hoses and nothing was leaking. Check drain hose everything was fine. Unit is just over sudsing and leaking out the vent
