The dry vented out the roof so I couldnt check the airflow through the vents. I oiled up all the rollers and cleaned any lint I could get. The dryer is running like a champ now.

I verified the bake burner would not light after the 3 sparks. The way it was acting I was suspicious of the gas valve. After tested I found nothing wrong with the valve. I know the module was bad from what I found last visit. I replaced the module and insulated the bake wire. The bake burner lights up on the first or second spark. The broil is also working good. If it continues it may need the insulated new harness and the gas valve. I did let the customer know that the valve was a concern.

The customer said the dishes dont get clean. The whole inside of the dishwasher is covered with white calcium. I tested the hot water from the sink and the water is over 20 grains of hardness and Id should be less than 3 grains of hardness. The lower spray arm was caked with calcium and does not spin freely. I replaced the lower spray arm and removed pieces of glass from the filter. I cleaned the filter plate. I ran the dishwasher on a normal cycle. I verified that both spray arms are spinning and the dishwasher is pumping the water good. I found no issues with the dishwasher. The water softener needs to be checked and fixed if broken. I showed the customer how to clean the dishwasher with vinegar after the softener has been fixed.

I took it apart and found the burner had been updated about a year and a half ago. I started testing and found that the DSI board was not doing its job. I also could not get the gas valves for the bacon broil to behave themselves. They acted sporadically and did not respond consistently. I quoted the DSI board to the customer and had a conversation about the possibility of a second issue with the gas valve selves. Once out removed the back panels of the oven to access the thermostats and test the elements. Everything tested good. So traced the wiring diagram to find that wire burned up. Replaced the connection and tested unit. Worked great after replacing the wire connection. Reassembled unit and reinstalled back into the wall. Tested unit one more time got up to 350 and let it run for a few minutes and it worked great.

The bottom freezer would stay shut unless you push it closed after shutting the door also would open when closing the French doors on the fridge. Took the food out and the shelving. Adjusted the guides and tested until was correct. Also the fridge was leaning forwards lightly so I put down the leveling legs to help level the fridge. Reassembled and put the food back and tested many times different ways and everything tested well. No parts needed just labor

The complaint was the washer would not always spin all the water out. I tried the washer in the regular cycle with towels and it drained and spun good. I did find the agitator dogs were worn down so the clothes were not agitating as well. That could throw the clothes off balance and cause them to not spin out as well. The timer maybe also acting up. I did replace the agitator dogs today. If the customer calls back it may need a time plus more labor to replace it. ; used 1 80040 (DOGS) from stock

"Bottom crisper drawer is freezing produce, carrots, celery, etc. Found that the temperature slider for bottom drawer was off track and open even when set to low. I adjusted slider and informed to keep on low if storing produce in that drawer. Also top shelf near vent i explained that foods in that area will be colder that rest of fridge and is normal as it explains that in user manual. Should no longer be freezing in drawer.They will call back if problem continues. If it continues I dont know what more to do as i have replaced thermistor and board. Damper opens and closes. 2nd opinion?"

Pan is completely dry underneath. I ran dishwasher for over 30 minutes and it never leaked. It could be leaking from the door if there gets to be too much soap suds. I recommended customer try using a different kind of soap and see if they get better results."

Customers complaint with the fridge is that it doesnt cool. Upon arrival and inspection I found the unit was not plugged in. I restore power and started looking it over and found that the compressor did not start although lights did open. Thats ridge has extensive body and liner damage. I pulled a unit apart bypassed the cold control and still the compressor would not start. I jumped the compressor with a cheat cord and was able to get the compressor to run. Unit freezer was build up with frost. Found that it wasnt kicking in to defrost. Trying manually moving the timer to defrost would turn everything off like it was trying to defrost but wouldnt heat up the heater. Found the bimetal was popped. Replaced bimetal and now is working properly. Unit even after steaming for a hour still had lots of frost build up recommended customer to leave unplugged and freezer open over the night then will be good to plug in the morning. Also informed customer to put some towels down just in case of water. Let customer know it will take a while to get back to normal temperatures. So once plugged in give it 24 hours before putting food in. ; used 1 WP4387490 (DEFROST BIMETAL) from stock
