"The tenant said the wash makes a loud bani g sound and leans back. I opened the lid and noticed the washer is leaning towards the back. I removed the front and found 3 of the 4 shock absorbers are broken. When you push down on the tub it goes down real easy. When I filled the washer in a small load the whole tub sits so low it rubs against the bottom pan the bottom of the washer is cutting groves into the bottom. "Customer complaint is, NOT COOLING IN BOTH SECTIONS. Inspected and tested. The freezer door is not sealing so now the freezer is full of ice and frost. Also giving a SY EF error. Customer said that they couldnt get the door to shut last fall, so its been running for months with the door partially open. I dont even know if theres a issue, because it all started with the door not sealing. Refrigerator is going to need to be unplugged and defrosted before I can do anything. I advised customer unplug refrigerator for a couple days and clean it out and make sure the doors are sealing and then plug it back in and see what happens.

"The customer complaint, the fresh food section is not cooling well. I verified the fresh food is not cooling as it should. The freezer is cooling good. I found frost in the rear freezer cover and ice all over inside the freezer section. I removed the bins and the freezer evaporator cover. I found some ice build up around the left evaporator fresh food cooling fan. The ice is keeping the fan from running and thats stopping preventing the cold air from blowing into the fresh food. It does not look like its a defrost issue or a mechanical failure. It appears that the freezer door may not be getting shut tight or sealing tight every time. I defrosted the ice around the fan and verified both fans are working. I put the bins and drawer back in and verified that they sealed tight. I raised the front feet, so the refrigerator leans back and the doors shut better."

"The customer said the washer was stuck in the rinse cycle and would not advance. I checked for faults and the lid lock fault was in the history. I cleared the faults and ran a automatic test. The washer locked the lid and ran through the test. Everything on the test passed. The washer finished by draining and spinning. After the automatic test I checked for faults, there are no new faults. I started a normal cycle. The washer sensed and filled. Eventually after filling the washer locked the lid and started to wash. I waited and watched the washer go from wash to rinse them from rinse to drain and spin. The washer is working as it should. I ran a calibration and checked again for faults. No faults.

I ran it through service diagnostics and everything worked, but had low water pressure. I removed the filter and it was plugged solid. I cleaned filter and tested. Water pressure is much better now. I hooked up SmartHQ and theres a software update available for the unresponsive UI. Customer approved me updating software. I updated software and tested. Dishwasher is working great. Dishwasher is now fixed. I recommended customer run a heavy duty cleaner through dishwasher before using because its pretty slimy in the sump."

I called Jared and he cant find documentation on how to get into defrost mode and said to call into tech line 800#. I sat on hold for 20 minutes and hung up.PW found manual. All freezer stuff ohms good. But when I try to go into forced defrost fridge beeps 3 times but i get no power at defrost heater. Appears to be main board that bad and not sending power.Water valve also doesnt work but appears that water filter is clogged. Filter is 3 years old and i can hear water rush into water filter but not dispense. Would need new filter or bypass to test.Quote and order main board for customer. "Customer complaint is, Initially received a DH error code so I replaced the defrost heater. The next morning received a DS code indicating a bad thermal sensor. Tested both thermal sensors with micrometer and both appear to react appropriately to temperature changes. Inspected and tested. Sensor and heater tested good from inside the freezer, but the heating element was testing bad from the board. I ohmed out the wires from the board to the heater and one of them is open. Its a wiring problem in the casing, so its not fixable."

Found in test mode that when the washer drains into the wash tub, (utility tub) the water gets backed up, and the drain gets submerged in the water and then it stops the washer from continuing to drain, and then it syphons the water from the tub back into the washer. Washer passes all tests. Filled and drained it 6 times. Only time it had an issue was when I left the drain line in the tub and allowed it to get submerged in water. The complaint was the refrigerator just stop cooling. Today I verified the compressor had failed. I remove the filter dryer and cut it open and it was clean. I did not observe any issues with the condenser or evaporator. I replaced the compressor and the filter dryer that was packaged with the compressor. I ran the update on the main control board. I purge the system with nitrogen and then pulled a deep vacuum for more than 10 minutes. I recharged with 4.23 ounces of 134A. The low side pressure was around 23. Psi in the high side is around 90 psi. everythings working good.

"The customers complaint was neither section is cooling now, and there was a loud noise coming from the freezer potentially from the fan. When I arrived today, the refrigerator was pulled out on wood planks and unplugged. I plugged the fridges back in. The compressor started and the condenser fan started. This a signal evaporator and its in the freezer. It has a fan for the ice maker and for the evaporator to push air into the fridge section. The ice maker fan is working. I removed the drawers and evaporator cover. I found the fan blade had come off the shaft. I stopped the fan and put the fan blade back on. The fan blade is tight and does not feel like its going to come off easily.

When you dispense water from the door, the pressure goes away when you release the paddle, but it takes a second or two to finish draining. I can hear the copper line behind the refrigerator pounding when you release the paddle, so it could just be a pressure issue. Also the shelf that holds the bottom crisper drawers is broken and the drawers. Installed water valve case assembly, bottom shelf and both drawers. Tested and its got to be a water pressure issue.
