METAL ON METAL GRINDING WHEN IT STARTS. Dryer has light metal on metal sound when running. I disassembled dryer and rollers, idler pulley and glides look good. The drum is starting to cut into the front felt seal on the top, but is not rubbing on the metal and I cant find any reason for this noise. I installed new rollers and idler pulley and reassembled. Dryer sounds better and I dont hear any metallic noise anymore. Customer is going to use and if it comes back we should order the front bulkhead assembly part number D515533P.

The high and low side pressures indicated a failed compressor on this appliance. This was the second compressor to go into this appliance. I recovered the refrigerant and cut out the defective compressor. I cleaned, prepped and braised in a new compressor and filter dryer, pulled a deep vacuum. Once hardware was in and charged with 5.11 ounces of refrigerant. Once power was restored to the refrigerator the compressor began to cycle refrigerant exactly as expected. I told the customer to wait 24 hours of temperature being maintained before loading food back into their refrigerator.

I recovered the refrigerant inside the sealed system before cutting out the defective compressor and old filter dryer. I then replace the condenser fan motor assembly and installed the new compressor and new filter dryer. I pulled a deep vacuum and charge the system with 60 g of R600 refrigerant and checked high and low side pressure to verify flow of refrigerant and that the cabinets were beginning to cool off. I told the customer to place a bottle of water in their freezer and allow that to become a block of ice before loading their food back into the appliance and to wait 24 hours before loading food in.

GE front load washer. Several months old. Customer stated has biting rubber smell after spin cycle. Washer does not have spin only option. Started rinse and spin cycle. Pulled washer out. Removed rear panel. Monitored washer complete rinse and spin cycle. Monitored washer reach high speed spin. No evidence found of wearing or burning. Belt is in good condition. No wear marks foundThe only smells I can pick up on at this time is factory new smells. Advised it should get better over time. Customer stated that after running back to back loads like 3-4 is when the smell is the strongest. I can only suspect possibly an issue in the washer bearings. Required to repair would need inner basket, rear outer tub with seal. Would need roughly 3-4 hours to complete repairs for one technician.

Stops after 2 minutes and says clean clint filter. I checked thermistors, and inlet and outlet read correctly. On a timed dry without the filter, it works perfectly. Same with filter. They were testing it on sensor dry with just a rag in it, so it wasnt touching the sensor bars. Recommended timed dry. Clean lint filter is automatic message it gives after every cycle. Made sure internal vents were secure. No error codes or faults.

I tapped the sealed system and recovered the refrigerant inside. I cut out the defective compressor and existing filter dryer and clean the remaining lines out with pressurized nitrogen. I installed a new compressor and a new filter dryer and pulled a deep vacuum for a dual evaporator system. Once a deep enough vacuum had been achieved. I charged the sealed system with 59 g of our 600 refrigerant and checked high and low side pressures to verify flow of refrigerant. Pictures attached. I told the customer to place a bottle of water in their freezer and wait 24 hours to load up their refrigerator.

REFRIGERATION ISSUES, WATER LEAKMOISTURE, WATER LEAK UNDER REFRIGERATOR-LEAKING WATER. Customer said water was leaking from the filter after replacing. They had the water off and no filter in housing when I got here. I got access to the filter housing, reservoir and valve and turned water back on. Installed filter and tested and no leaks found. Customer also was having problems with resetting the filter light. I couldnt get it to reset, so I called techline and talked to Allan and there not using a OEM filter, so its not going to let them reset more than twice and will probably give a error. I advised customer that they need to use a OEM filter or theyre going to have issues. Case file number is 87808497.
