GE Dishwasher Repair. WON'T COMPLETE THE CYCLE. cust advised they will power the unit and close door and will not start the cycle light just blinks. Found the door is not lining up right with the door latch. Its too low. Ive seen this before with the plastic tub dishwashers and GEs only fix is to shim the door up. I removed door and put some washers in it and reassembled. Its much better. I also put something between the top of dishwasher and counter to straighten out the top because its warped up. Tested and dishwasher is working great. Dishwasher is now fixed.

I canceled and drained it drained completely. I removed hose from garbage disposal and cleaned some junk out of the end. Removed drain pump and didnt find anything in it. Reassembled and filled and drained 3 times and it worked perfectly the first two times and then the third time it was just humming and not draining. The drain pump has failed. I canceled and drained and it drained, but was backing up into the sink. Theres no high loop underneath the sink, so nasty water is draining back into the dishwasher. I ran garbage disposal and put high loop in hose underneath the sink and tested. Dishwasher is draining great and garbage disposal is now open. I advised customer to run garbage disposal regularly to keep it open.

GE Range Repair. I moved the range out from the wall, unplugged it ave removed the back panel. I detached the broiler igniter and removed the gas aperture. Installed the the igniter and put the gas valve back in place. Plugged the unit in and attached the back cover. Verified that the igniter lit the broiler aperture and the rest of the range functions were normal.

Found the ice maker fill funnel is full of ice. The valve is leaking. I went to install new valve and its damaged. Reordering new valve. Installed new valve and tested. Bosch Dishwasher Repair. The customers dishwasher door didnt have any tension at the hinge, the door dropped hard if not supported by hand. I disconnected power and slid the machine out from underneath the cabinet. The left side spring assembly had busted, the right side was still in place. I replaced both spring assemblies, opened and closed the door to inspect my repair, the door will stay in place if opened far enough and will close by itself if close enough to the cabinet. Completed repair on first visit.
