The evaporator cover and air duct tower foam is really water logged and expanding so theres not a good seal. Refrigerator needs a new air duct tower part number WR17X35668 and evaporator cover part number WR17X34327. I called and talked to Rachel and she approved and ordered parts to be sent directly to the customer. Customer will call us when they receive the parts. DISHWASHER ISSUES, OPERATIONS, DISHES NOT DRY-NOT DRYING. The rinse aid dispenser is empty and customer is not using any. I put dishwasher into service mode and theres no errors and heater and fan are working. I started a heavy cycle and heater came on and dishwasher was drawing about 7.5 amps. Dishwasher is testing good. I advised customer that they will need to use rinse aid for better drying results. I also advised that the fan doesnt run in eco, delicate and only runs about half the amount of time on the quick cycle.

The customers in freezer icemaker had ceased production. The icemaker would not go into harvest so I replaced the icemaker assembly. The new icemaker harvested and called for water but water did not flow. We were getting 120 V to the solenoid valve so I replaced the solenoid valve and checked to see if water flowed after that. Water still was not flowing at that point so I shut the water supply off the solenoid valve disconnected it and turn the valve back on to find a low pressure situation. Ultimately, I think it was a low pressure situation, but I replaced all parts anyhow. Customer is going to restore water flow to his refrigerator.

ICE MAKER NOT WORKING. Freezer temperature is 0F and FF is 39F. I cycled ice maker and theres no ice in the tray and it didnt fill. I found a service bulletin that said to power cycle the refrigerator and if ice maker doesnt start working to replace it. I was just starting to reassemble everything and about 6 inches of ice fell out of the ice maker fill tube. I cycled ice maker again and it filled with water. Im not sure whats going on here. It could be a valve, but I didnt see any ice buildup in the ice maker or chute. I advised customer to try it and see what happens.

"The customers refrigerator is losing temperature randomly but it is recovering temperature after an extended amount of time.The defrost thermostat and circuit test could not be activated, I tried over and over again but the user interface automatically defaults to S which indicates that the defrost thermostat is in short or closed. The compressor is pulling 1.02 ohms on my amp clamp ave there arent visible signs of refrigerant leak, although there are water marks on the copper refrigerant lines.The evaporator fan feed signal did waiver with constant voltage to the motor, thats another indication of a defect causing loss of temperature in the machine. I drew up an estimate for W10128551 (evaporator fan motor) and W11360592 (defrost thermostat/limiter) with L-14 labor rate, the customer wants to think about it.; used 1 W11260592 (DEFROST THERMOSTAT / LIMITER), and 1 W10128551 (Evaporator fan motor) from stock"

TEMP ON OVEN IS NOT CORRECT - WOULD LIKE IT CALIBRATED - KNOBS POP OFF EASILY. Customer said its about 25F on the cool side and if they turn oven up 25F it seems to cook normal. Started oven at 350F and after 3 cycles it was averaging about 370F. Oven is actually 20F hotter than the set temp. I adjusted the calibration +5F per customer and showed customer how to recalibrate if they need to. Customer is going to order new knobs.

The dryer door was broken during delivery, so I swapped the damaged door for a brand new assembly sent from the manufacturer. Double checked my install was sound and found no heat in the drum during a timed dry cycle. I slid the dryer out and found that the supply valve was in the off position, so I opened it with the customers approval ave fan another timed dry cycle. The dryer heats, tumbles ave provides air flow. Good for normal, everyday use.

I recovered the refrigerant ave pressurized the sealed system to inspect for leaks, found none. Someone has brazed the discharge line to the condenser coil, done a long time ago, its evident that lots of heat and silver were used, due to the condition of the discharge line, theres not enough room to attach it to the new compressor, I will order one. The compressor start device has also been altered, the power supply harness to the compressor is held together with wire nuts, Im also ordering a replacement for it. Im scheduling the follow up for 4 time windows due to lack of room in the kitchen and the amount of work required, main PCB board will accept the software update.; schdld next appmnt for 7/22 MON !"

FREEZING UP. Customer said its freezing almost everything in the FF compartment. FF compartment is 30F and freezer is 1F. The compressor is extremely hot as well as the yoder loop. The condenser fan is running. I put refrigerator into test mode and all sensors passed. Damper is opening and closing. I removed the evaporator cover and theres just a really light coating of frost on the evaporator. I defrosted evaporator and after 20 minutes its completely frosted over. The condenser coils are completely plugged with hair and dust. Customer cleaned off coils. Refrigerator is testing good except the FF temperatures. I cant pinpoint what exactly is causing it. I recommend customer give the refrigerator 24 hours and if its still too cold that I would recommend replacing the diffuser and sensor. Customer said its still too cold and approved installing parts. Installed new diffuser and it came with the sensor so I didnt need the one I had. Refrigerator is now fixed.
